Hello Miquel

Thanks for information. I will keep it for another time when I have a 'real' picture that has movement.

Hi Helen,

I guess the problem is you have the photo in your email but not in your PC proper. Even so you can see it here because your PC can "grab" it from there, yet no one else can from their PCs quite simply because their (our) PCs don't have that email within them. I for one have not been able to see it from the start. In your case, I guess if it was a bigger number of photos in your email your PC would have even more trouble even to show them to you, depending on its resources.

Now let's say you download that photo and save it to your desktop or any other place within your computer; the problem will not be solved either because it has to be really hosted somewhere, i.e. on some webpage.

What you can do, to save time and effort, is upload it to your own Adland Gallery. Once there, you can get its new (adland) url by right clicking on it so as to post it using the forum's photo editor, or just select it (the full photo, not the thumbnail) and then copy and paste it here again. But remember, it will remain in the forum only as long as you don't remove it from your gallery.

Hugs,

Miguel

Hello Mark

Thanks for your input.

My question is why do I see it and I see it moving every time I come to the forum. Only once did I have a bit of a problem and that was cleared up when I clicked the Reload icon on the browser. Why can Amanda not see it. Do you see the picture moving or at all?

I suppose I could try to put it on Flickr. It is not all that important but now it has become a challenge that needs to be beaten :))

And anyway, Amanda, what is wrong with us. Why didn't we go to Mark in the first place? We're not too bright, are we? Ok, I'll speak for myself only. :))

Moving images (JIF files) can be tricky if you have not saved them to your computer, if you can, and host them yourself. The creator could have pulled it or some online builders will only run for a short time. Just a guess.

Hi Amanda

I didn't have a link. It was sent to me in an email from a friend.

Sorry about that.

By the way, when I came to your post (and mine), the picture
was doing exactly what it was supposed to do ..ie., exactly what
it did in the email I got from my friend.

Hi Amanda

When you are at this forum, try Reloading the page. The picture is an action picture, not a still photo so you should see movement. No, it is not from YouTube.

When I went to your post (this one), the picture of Obama was there but the action did not start so I reloaded the page and it worked fine. I don't know if it will work for you.

I'll tell you what was in the picture.....
When Obama was told that the Republicans would not vote for his proposed tax hikes, he left the podium in a huff and instead of opening the door and walking through it, he gave it a big kick to open it and then left.

You have to keep in mind that when they don't give you what was said ahead of the action, that it might never have happened as told in an email. People sometimes have the idea they can help a cause by being deceitful so I would not fully believe what this story is trying to say until I saw it in context. Obama has done enough stoopid things that no one has to lie about him to try to make him look worse ...and if you did have to lie to make him look bad then maybe he is not so bad.

Helen, I have seen this video, there was also another piece in the video I saw whereby Obama supposedly tore off his microphone and knocked over the podium in anger before storming out and kicking the door in.. The video you shared only showed him supposedly kicking in the door.
There has been video's whereby the teleprompter fell over and smashed which I think could very well be real as he stopped in mid sentence and then spoke on his own about the crash..
There are many spoofs around on various public people not just Obama, Ron Paul etc so we have to look further and see if they are suppose to be real or just humour.

Hi everyone

Remember the email I posted about Obama kicking the door that didn't work? I wrote Evelyn to her private email to see if she could get it posted and she found out it wasn't real ...a spoof or something done on Jay Leno's show. Evelyn also found a video of the same episode - see below. In it, you can easily see it was doctored.

I should have known something was wrong when I had questions about the video. I need to learn to follow my intuition. One thing that bothered me was the way it seemed to be taken out of context ..."why didn't they add what had been spoken before"? That was one of my questions. In the photo I had, Obama didn't say anything. I have highlighted it below in this post so you can see that I did mention it in one of my first posts concerning this - see my previous post below.

Another thought I had was "how could he so easily kick that door?". Governments are notorious for making their buildings strong including the doors. If Obama kicked that hard, it should have broken his ankle/foot?

Oh, well. It doesn't really matter.

Here's the video so you can see it for yourself.....
