That was a great upbeat song, I was reading the lyrics before I played the video, and wondered how it was going to sound, I wonder how it would be done as a rock song.
Mary Evelyn and Myrna,
You also got me thinking about the art of tea...Tea Saucery (LOL, as in tea sorcery!)
My mom collected individual cups & saucers and had shelves of several of them in the dining room, as collectables, all different, some with flowers, or four-leaf clovers, or just swirls of colors, and I don't think she used them to drink from. Sometimes I'd feel the urge to jostle that collectible shelf, it was about 6 shelves high (also had family photos and other memoribilia)...but I never did jostle it on purpose, it was just a temptation because it was between the kitchen and livingroom as I was always rushing thru there from kitchen to get snacks and back to the TV quickly...I don't know why sometimes I'd feel like it was Temptation Teacup Demolition Alley...LOL! They're all still in one piece, they survived my momentary urges to jiggle/jostle that shelf :D She drank tons of coffee and sometimes tea, from her usual everday non-fancy mugs.
My ex-mother-in-law actually uses her tea service, and also serves sliced lemons and sugar cubes, and I remember she commented on my way of taking the tea-bag out of the cup and wrapping the string around the wet tea-bag and spoon and wringing it out, before putting the teabag on the saucer, that's the way I've always done it.
My way at home...I like my beverages blazing hot, and I also go outside every day, so I have styrofoam or paper cups with lids, and use 2 teabags, and either a smidge of milk with dark tea, or sometimes honey with green tea, and sometimes fruit flavored herbal tea (vodka will enhance the flavor of fruit teas, it's a flavor enhancer ;) Celestial Seasonings makes a great blueberry tea, and also a blackcherry tea that reminds me of Ludens cough drops!
