I did come back and watch this, as promised. I guess now we know why some men seem so empty headed. Some I know must have a lot more than one empty box. LOL! Thanks for sharing. :)

PS: I think he's wrong about one thing, it's not just men who have empty boxes, some women do too.

Helen, I promise I will get back and watch these two videos. Since the combined total is almost 30 minutes, I'll wait until I'm not so rushed for time. Thanks for posting them. They both look very interesting. Have a blessed day.

Hello all

This video is 10½ minutes and worth every minute.

The cameraman filmed some extraordinary scary footing of the earthquake and flood steamrolling into and over the homes. That was incredible.
My feelings are kind of torn in two - because it very much moved me that Japan had quick help from many countries and I saw New Zealand even came to assist.
However where I am torn is where was this same assistance when New Orleans had their disaster or Nashville, Tennessee.
I am all for helping when you can but I have always felt charity begins at home first.

10_1_136.gifHi all,
I'm about ready to call it a night, however before I do, I have some very exciting news. Our friend Karen Rechtzigel is a new member of AdlandPro Community. She is the one who wrote the song 'At The Ryman' that I posted recently. Please stop by and welcome her to our community.

karenr.jpgI am so excited about this. Don't forget to tell her how much you like her song.
GOD BLESS YOU
~Mike~
(P.S. Don't tell her I said so but WOW!!, is she beautiful. Be sure not to tell Shirley either.)

Great Amanda, I'm glad you enjoyed it and I too, like to listen and read the lyrics while a song is being sung. It's not always possible to find one with the lyrics or a copy of the lyrics.

I enjoyed this song and particularly when I can read the words as I have learned that what I often hear is not what they are singing! I make up my own. LOL

There's a calm surrender
To the rush of day
When the heat of the rolling world
Can be turned away
An enchanted moment
And it sees me through
It's enough for this restless warrior
Just to be with you

And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are
It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far
And can you feel the love tonight
How it's laid to rest?
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best

There's a time for everyone
If they only learn
That the twisting kaleidoscope
Moves us all in turn
There's a rhyme and reason
To the wild outdoors
When the heart of this star-crossed voyager
Beats in time with yours

And can you feel the love tonight?
It is where we are
It's enough for this wide-eyed wanderer
That we got this far
And can you feel the love tonight
How it's laid to rest?
It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best

It's enough to make kings and vagabonds
Believe the very best

I know exactly where you're coming from Amanda, and it's not just natural disasters where this inequality happens, it happens in everyday life too.
