The anti-one-percenters always want handouts, they don't want motivation or skills or talent, they just want to take the results of those things from people who've used their own motivation, skills, talents, time, etc. There's only a limited amount of RESULTS, including money, so if people want resulting money, they need to achieve their own from their own motivation, skills, talents, time, so they'll have an unlimited supply of their own results.
Even if some people don't follow the Bible, most people have heard "Give a man a fish and he has fish for a day, teach a man to fish and he has fish for a lifetime."
Those OWS protestors and everyone like them, need to learn how to create their own results.
You don't see them demanding the talents of the 1% best artists or poets or crafstmen, no, they just want the monetary results of the top 1% earners, even though the top 1% of any group has put in tons of effort & time to become the top 1%. The 1% should demand a trade of time-given in return for anything monetary given out.
Why is this country allowing a welfare state of people who don't give back to the taxpayers? I'm talking about the younger able-bodied people who are capable of doing something, if they're capable of having sex & popping out more babies, they are capable of working somehow.
Here's my Grand Rapids yesterday: I was at the grocery store and a mother & daughter were in front of me in the checkout line, almost got thru with not paying for 4 cases of soda on the rack under their shopping cart but the cashier stopped them and they actually ended up paying for it after the mother went thru the motions of checking her register slip to see if they paid for it before. The cashier didn't believe they forgot to put that stuff on the conveyor belt. Then on the news later, a 3-person team was shown being stopped on the way out the door of another grocery store, and the last person out the door assaulted the security guard. The same day, the same small city, 2 grocery stores, and I was behind one team of them in person. Also see obvious theft at other places when people just walk out with stuff.
What is happening in our country? Theft is prevalent everywhere now and it's part of life. People who want to work can't find jobs, and people who can work are expecting handouts, and people who go thru the checkout lines at holiday season where the store needs more help, are stealing from the store instead of applying for a job. People who are earning are being dragged down from people who want the 1% divided by 99% but it's not 99 people...it's multi millions of people.
Obama said Hawaii is in Asia...what he said was, "here in Asia" while he was speaking in Hawaii. If he's the leader of this past few years...that's why this country needs help. Every person out there needs to try their best for themselves and stop taking. If the 1% stop being at the top, the 99% won't have anyone to be mad at. Maybe the 1% should stop trying hard to stay successful, and try to blend in, and go out to the park and yell at the buildings with everyone else, and make the 99% confused, then maybe they'll go try hard because they won't know what else to do if there's no one trying hard anymore. Stop all success and then there won't be anyone to hand-out to those who expect handouts.
Also, remove all bottom racks from shopping carts. Make people take their coats off when entering stores, if kids aren't allowed to wear coats in school because of potential weapons, maybe it's time for adults to not be allowed to wear coats in stores because of potential theft. All prices are going higher, or food packages are getting smaller while prices stay the same. Doritos were previously 13.5 ounces and now 11.5 ounces, price: $3.99 for 11.5 ounces. Some brands of peanut butter have gone down to 16.3 ounces and priced sometimes at $2.49, previously 18 ounces. Ice cream has gotten smaller for over 5 years, previously 64 ounces and now 56 ounces, some priced at $5 or more.
USA has to spend more, earn less, get less food...no wonder people are shoplifting. We need a president who knows his geography! How will that help the economy? It could encourage people to be smarter, work harder, anything might help, it can't get much worse.
