I like what you did with the dock work. Pretty Cool. You have taken part of the original and made something your own..

Thank you Mark! I appreciate it! Why don't you post the link to your forum here? I put one of my slogans there. I like the way you have presented it.

Sara

Mark, I enjoy seeing variations of the same theme. There is nothing more interesting than someones ideas on a theme, In fact I used your picture as inspiration for mine. (see below)

As to Photoshop, I only have a home version of it, called PS Elements 9 ($79.99).
Just some of the tools from the full program. This is fine for what I do, and I haven't used all the tools YET.
Perfect for home.

But if you're planning to use it professionally, then buy the full program.
The full program PS CS5 retails at $699.00 and PS CS5.5 at $1,899.00
That is why I bought PS Elements 9.
If you already have the full program then the updates to these are much less.

I think I looked at Elements and talk to a few people about it and what i came up with is that because of limitations I would get frustrated with it too soon. the price for the high end programs is a little out of my reach right now. Besides the learning curve to the programs is pretty high. Started working with images about 3 months ago so I am still learning. Enjoy your day Roger.

Karen, don't give up.
You know the only way one gets better is to keep, keeping on.
Another word I like is "stick-to-it-tiv-ness".

I've seen your work and ideas get better with each new creation.
Don't short change yourself.

Yes, you did some great things with Photobucket when we were playing around with graphics in the Art Gallery. I am sorry Stumpy got lost. I have done that with some of my images on PB, so I know it can happen. What I sometimes forget to do is replace the original which is what I wanted to do, then have to go back and redo it!!!

Thanks Keith,

Sara

I really like all this new stuff but why are you guys stuck on Hearts!!??? :) Has this hot summer got everyone thinking about hearts and love...

Those prices on software programs are off limits to me. I had PhotoShop but we lost the CD and I never could learn it. I just go back to PaintShop Pro 6 and it works great for me. Of course I would love to have Illustrator! Better get out those paint brushes and live with what I have already!!

Have a great day everyone!!
