Oh Sir Roger,

Your poppies are lovely.

I would like to make a suggestion that may help speed up your computer. Have you ever cleaned it with crap cleaner.
Here is the link: http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/download Get the free one, it does a super job.

Myrna,
I'll take a look.
We changed from Outlook Ex.
To Firefox. Better in some ways but it can't close pages and we have to crash laptop.
The problem is that my wife plays online games which fills the computer with cookies. When I clear cookies she gets into a terrible fix over passwords etc.

I need to buy her a simple laptop JUST FOR GAMES.

Thank you all for your encouragement.
I continue to experiment and the results vary.
The poppy painting was my first large-scale gouache painting. I learned a lot because diluted gouache is fairly transparent but direct from the tube is opaque. Nearest thing to egg tempora.

Here is a little watercolour painting of otters which I am putting into a competition.
Rules dictate that I use one of the company's watercolour papers and the theme "Winter Wonder"
These are two British Otters.
A4 size on Strathmore paper
