Yes, twenty years ago I was approached to redesign aspects of an old garden sympathetically. I undertook changes in levels and sensitive dressing of cottage walls. I was recently invited, by the new owners, to revisit and see the mature garden. I was pleased with some of the plant combinations still in place. I am so lucky to have worked with such lovely properties and sites. I hope that you will share my journey? Here is a plant combination that I am still very happy with. Hemerocallis (day lily) with a beautiful dark-leaved Viburnum  Pink Armeria (Thrift) with a perennial white chrysanthemum.
