This man fascinates me too. (There is a particularly beautiful Apple tree painting but I can't find a non-copyright picture) Here are some of his differing styles. His Art Nouveau paintings are wonderful and there is a feel of that in his views but look at the slightly uncomfortable early self-portrait here. Such depth of feeling.
