Hi: Do you have just a minute for a small favor? If you do, would you vote for Deborah Skovron in Adland's "Person of the Week" vote? (such as Cheri, for example) I'll tell you why I'm campaigning for Deb this week. We've all been through grade school, and we all are familiar with "popularity" contests. As an advisor, I really don't want to see the person of the week become that. You see, the whole POINT of Adland Pro is to serve as a place where people who are trying to make income online can get ads, learn from each other, learn from advisors - and UTILIZE Adland as a part of their growth. When I first met Deb, she was ready to throw in the towel. Her ads at Adland were not working. No one was going to her site. No one knew anything about her site. What *I* knew was that Deb was donating her low priced kids' clothing to kids in need. At the time we first spoke, she had sent several packages of clothes to charities, and to kids that lost everything due to Katrina. She felt that if Adland could help her grow her business, she could help more people, and make her business work in the process. Today, that's what is slowly but surely happening. People at Adland are passing around her free ebook on helping kids, and she is learning ideas to grow her business - right here at Adland. Kids who are in need, and parents who want to buy brand new name brand clothing at prices under $10 are finding her. Adland is working for Deb, and Deb is working Adland. I'd like to see each person that's showing growth BECAUSE OF ADLAND featured as person of the week. Not necessarily those with "most friends" - but those that are getting the most from Adland. Cheri, Winston, Martha, Johnny, Kathy, and the names go on. Those that are growing because they found Adland. Personally, I think that's what the "person of the week" should be - a person that is showing the true purpose of Adland. This week, I'm voting for Deb. I hope you will, too! Hi Linda, I agree with you. The poll does seem to be going toward popularity. The "best known" people. I love the results of Debs site. You have helped her make it more pleasurable. I plan to order from her for my youngest when time comes for the need. He Is in need of Jeans right now. But I have to get over the Christmas "crunch"! lol! Deb gets my vote. Angela

Hi Linda, I agree with you, it is difficult to vote publically one person over another when we have more than one friend up for it. But... by collectively voting for our designate we can make a difference. Y'all did for me! And thank you for that! Also... We can make a difference on the 25th edition.
