Interview with Darlingside: "Turning Classical into pure East Coast Alt Rock"
8/27/2010 7:12:17 PM

If you like the East Coast Independent music scene, these guys will absolutely blow you away. I'm not even kidding. Remove all distractions and put your headphones on or download it to your iPod or mp3 player and enjoy 20 minutes of the best music you've heard in awhile.

Listen to a full audio interview with Auyon and a special 4-track music feature from Darlingside's brand new release entitled "EP 1". http://thegreatunknowns.podomatic.com/entry/2010-08-27T08_52_12-07_00

What a great band.
Their music sounds very professional.
I didn't heard of them until now.
I'll come back at a later time to look at their site.

Thank you for enjoying :)

That is my job. Bands tell me they have this great music, I listen, I then tell people like you to listen.

Today, radio is an exclusive club that belongs to the big 5 record labels (I think it's 4 now). They don't want bands like Darlingside or Johanna Chase or any band on the air that isn't owned by one of the major record labels, otherwise they would lose money and the industry would turn into chaos.

My hopes are to let enough people hear about these artists and get enough people to listen so they can get record deals and be heard on every radio station some day. It's sad, because 99% of all these kinds of artists never make it on the radio, because it's nearly impossible to get into that "exclusive club".

Only people like you (the listener) can make it happen!
