RE: ARE WE NOW IN THE END TIMES?

Hi again Bogdan,

As usual I appreciate your advice, which I thank you from the bottom of my heart
.

I cannot say you are wrong, but I cannot say you are totally right either. Maybe you and I can see what is really happening in the U.S. because things are better perceived from afar, but I am afraid that
except for some American people who really see things as they are, that there are very, very few among them who even want to know the truth at all. I have heard many say how proud they are to have their sons "defending our country" and "working for peace" in Iraq and Afghanistan. Never have Jesus words been better applied than here: "Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear..."

You may say I am a fatalistic person, but again, I am afraid there is no other way to understand the world and the history of mankind than from a fatalistic way. It is in the nature of man and time that all sorts of bad things must come and pass before a new age arrives. I have always admired the great prophets of the past, how they would denounce the kings and their perverted ways, and how they would warn the common people against them so as to protect them from harm; but they would not be heeded.

My view is we now are at a point of total decadence, accompanied by diverse signs, and ending in cataclysms of a diverse nature. And we are now on the verge of a sudden, mysterious halt that will come to save humanity and will be automatically followed by a reversal back to our original, blissful condition. I also believe that this mysterious halt and new beginning will be brought about by divine intervention from "above" and also through especially appointed associates to help in the task from "below". If it only depended on man, there would be no recovery at all.

This doesn’t mean that I will not help like you and many others are helping, but how can we know this our effort is also not directed from above? I always remember the age-old maxim "as above, so is below." God dwells in our hearts to secretly guide us so we may help him in this, surely the most transcendental task the world has ever known.

Hugs,

Miguel

Hi Miguel,

Again you are correct in the above statement, yet don't forget that what is above, you are perfectly connected to it or even in certain fashion you are it. By having certain expectations, you are creating your reality because what is above will provide that for you. So if your expectation is being fatalistic this is what you will see in your surrounding. If more of us is positive, more positive will happen. The dark ones are so effective because they believe in what they are doing and they making sure that global consciousness is filled with fear which disables population at large.

Also to your previous statements. Those who are proud that their kids are falling and fighting for their country are those who don't really understand who runs their country. This way also were thinking Germen parents during second world war. But after the war their view changed once they have learned the truth or so we think this was the truth.

By shining the light (which you fantastically do most of the time) you are making possible that this light reaches those who like you say don't even want to see it. But when the light shines, it uncovers the ugly creatures whose then make impression on those parents who otherwise would never know or admit it. Once they see it, they can't say they didn't know.

Once again, thank you Bogdan for your kind words and wise counsel.

Here is an article that should help expose those criminal cartels, as you so aptly call them, for what they are.

Vets feel abandoned after secret drug experiments

By David S. Martin, CNN
March 1, 2012 -- Updated 1356 GMT (2156 HKT)

(CNN)
-- The moment 18-year-old Army Pvt. Tim Josephs arrived at Edgewood Arsenal in 1968, he knew there was something different about the place.

"It just did not look like a military base, more like a hospital," recalled Josephs, a Pittsburgh native. Josephs had volunteered for a two-month assignment at Edgewood, in Maryland, lured by three-day weekends closer to home.

"It was like a plum assignment," Josephs said. "The idea was they would test new Army field jackets, clothing, weapons and things of that nature, but no mention of drugs or chemicals."

But when he went to fill out paperwork the morning after his arrival, the base personnel were wearing white lab coats, and Josephs said he had second thoughts. An officer took him aside.

"He said, 'You volunteered for this. You're going to do it. If you don't, you're going to jail. You're going to Vietnam either way -- before or after,'" Josephs said recently.

From 1955 to 1975, military researchers at Edgewood were using not only animals but human subjects to test a witches' brew of drugs and chemicals. They ranged from potentially lethal nerve gases like VX and sarin to incapacitating agents like BZ.

The military also tested tear gas, barbiturates, tranquilizers, narcotics and hallucinogens like LSD.

This top secret Cold War research program initially looked for ways to defend against a chemical or biological attack by the Soviet Union, thought to be far ahead of the United States in "psycho-chemical" warfare. But the research expanded into offensive chemical weapons, including one that could, according to one Army film obtained by CNN, deliver a "veritable chemical ambush" against an enemy.

"This incapacitating agent would be dispersed by standard munitions, and the agent would enter the building through all nonprotected openings," the film's narrator boasts.

President Nixon ended research into offensive chemical weapons in 1969, and the military no longer uses human subjects in research on chemical agents, said a spokesman for Edgewood Chemical Biological Center, as the facility is known now.

Tests began for Josephs almost as soon as he arrived at Edgewood for a two-month assignment on January 1, 1968.

"Sometimes it was an injection. Other times it was a pill," Josephs told CNN Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Josephs said he didn't know what drugs he was getting. "A lot of chemicals were referred to as agent one or agent two."

Some weeks, he would undergo one test; other weeks, more, Josephs said. And when he questioned the staff about whether he was in any danger, they reassured him: "There is nothing here that could ever harm you."

But Josephs, 63, believes the chemical agents he received during his two-month stint at Edgewood did harm him, triggering health problems that continue to plague him four decades later. Even when he talks about Edgewood, he said, "I get a tightness in my chest."

Parkinson's symptoms

Days before his Edgewood duty ended, in February 1968, Josephs was hospitalized for days with Parkinson's-like tremors, symptoms he said have followed him on and off throughout his adult life.

From Edgewood, Josephs said he went to an Army installation in Georgia, where he experienced tremors so severe, he had to be admitted to the base hospital and given muscle relaxers. The Army then sent Josephs to Air Force bases in Thailand, in support of the war effort in Vietnam. He was told never to talk about his experiences at Edgewood and to forget about everything he ever did, said or heard at the Maryland base.

Josephs left the service when his three-year tour ended, and he began a career as a real estate agent. He married Michelle, a nurse, in 1977, but the couple decided not to have children, fearing his chemical exposure might somehow affect them.

In his mid-50s, Josephs was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, a progressive neurological condition that forced him to retire early. Medications cost $2,000 a month, which he was paying for out of pocket.

Josephs applied for veterans benefits based on chemical exposure at Edgewood. Last year, the Department of Veterans Affairs granted him partial benefits for his Parkinson's for Agent Orange exposure during his time in Thailand, giving Josephs 40% disability. The letter granting him benefits made no mention of Edgewood.

Josephs says he now takes two dozen pills daily. His symptoms vary from day to day. Sometimes, he has trouble swallowing. Other times, he experiences numbness in his joints or or tremors. He says he tires easily.

He blames his time at Edgewood for all this, and he has joined a lawsuit on behalf of Edgewood veterans seeking medical benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs.

This article is, to say the least, interesting. At any rate, it should make us think...

ETHICS

Cheat, lie, break the law? Chances are, you’re rich

MARTIN MITTELSTAEDT

From Tuesday's Globe and Mail
Published
Last updated

The wealthy really are different from everyone else: They’re more likely to cheat, lie, and break the law.

At least that’s the unflattering conclusion of a team of professors from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management and the University of California, Berkeley, who ran a battery of tests involving more than 1,000 people, seeking to answer the question of whether being rich or poor influenced ethical behaviour.

In results from seven separate studies, they found a consistent tendency among those they termed “upper-class” to be more likely to break the law while driving, take valued goods from others, lie in negotiations, cheat to increase their chances of winning a prize and endorse unethical behaviour at work.

The reason for the ethical difference was simple, according to the paper being published this week in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, a leading U.S. science journal. Wealthier people are more likely to have an attitude that greed is good.

The question of social class and ethics has long intrigued researchers and has created a lively, if obscure, field of academic research.

At first glance, it might seem more likely that poorer people would be more tempted to cheat or break the law, in order to improve their lot in life. But a growing body of research is coming to the opposite conclusion – that it’s people at the top of the income scale for whom honesty, integrity, and generosity seem to be a challenge.

In the United States, for instance, despite the perception that the rich are great philanthropists, data show that upper-class households donate a smaller proportion of their incomes to charity than do lower-class families. Other research has found that those who are well off have a reduced concern for others.

But one of the paper’s authors, Stéphane Côté, professor of organizational behaviour and psychology at the Rotman School, cautioned against making blanket assumptions about people based on class alone.

“We’re definitely not suggesting that any upper-class person … is going to be less ethical than every lower-class person. You need to be cautious in terms of applying these findings to predict the behaviour of a single individual,” he said.

Testing people for ethics based on class might seem like a challenge, but the researchers for the science journal paper devised a series of ingenious tests to investigate behaviours.

In one case, they monitored a busy San Francisco four-way stop, and had observers hidden from sight check which drivers obeyed the law stipulating that vehicles approaching the intersection yield to a car already making the crossing. The observers tracked the make, age, and conditions of cars, using them as a proxy for class. High-status vehicles such as Mercedes were considered the provenance of the rich, and those driving them were about three times more likely to cut in than those in less flashy cars.

The researchers also conducted laboratory experiments on people who had been asked to classify themselves as to their class status, to test lying and cheating.

In one test involving throws of an electronic dice, the researchers rigged computers to allow only low scores. Participants were told that those getting higher scores would have more chances to win $50 cash. They then tracked who lied about the results, and found that people in a higher social class displayed higher levels of cheating and more positive attitudes toward greed.

The researchers zeroed in on greed as the operative factor through another experiment that assessed the willingness of people to engage in unethical behaviour at work, such as stealing cash, receiving bribes, or overcharging customers.
