Google Bans 39 YouTube Channels For Ties To Iran; Facebook and Twitter Ban Accounts

By Aaron Kesel

Google claims 39 YouTube channels were connected to Iran and part of a covert Iranian-backed operation to spread propaganda to U.S. viewers and 49 were part of a Russian-backed operation to spread disinfo, PC MAG reported.

According to PC MAG, the propaganda campaign disguised itself by pretending to be several independent media websites, one of which was called the Liberty Front Press.

Further digging shows the cybersecurity firm FireEye investigated the media group andalleges uncovered evidence that it actually originates from Iran.

Google alleges it linked the campaign’s activities to actors associated with the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting group. “We can’t go into all the technical details without giving away information that would be helpful to others seeking to abuse our platforms,” the company said in a blog post.

This is a telling assault on freedom of the press and information by the megalithic corporate conglomerate. It is an extremely worrying prospect that corporations can decide what is and isn’t propaganda. That’s walking right into a 1984-esque society, where there is a Ministry of Truth. In this case, the Ministry of Truth is Silicon Valley.

One has to wonder what Silicon Valley considers propaganda when it comes to Iran. Is anti-war rhetoric considered propaganda? It is according to FireEye who notes that the covert campaign focused on spreading pro-Iranian political messages to audiences in the U.S., UK, the Middle East and Latin America. This includes voicing support for the US-Iran nuclear deal and circulating jokes and criticism of U.S. President Donald Trump.

Facebook recently banned left-leaning TeleSur English for the second time this year in a deeply disturbing trend, without any explanation.

A few days ago, Facebook and Twitter also shut down hundreds of fake accounts and pages allegedly tied to the same Iranian group and Russians with the help of security firm FireEye.

This comes on the heels of a secret meeting by Silicon Valley to discuss strategy for the 2018 upcoming election, to prevent interference. As the alleged still-evidence-free hacking of the U.S. election and use of “Russian” propaganda bots.

Google killed Activist Post‘s YouTube account earlier this year after Activist Post contributor Vin Armani made a joke about a sex robot.

The suppression of information is happening. Are you paying attention? Our society is becoming more and more Orwellian — don’t think for yourself, we will think for you, is becoming the motto of Silicon Valley. Ultimately, they are censoring and shadow banning some individuals completely out of the conversation, which has ironically spawned social media alternatives like Steemit and SoMee.Social.

For YouTube, see the alternative *****ute which Activist Post interviewed earlier this year when YouTube begun purging the alternative media.

To highlight how bad the thought police are becoming, on some conspiracy videos YouTube has now begun adding a box which seeks to debunk “x” theory, Activist Post reported.

Asking logical questions is critical thinking and as Carl Sagan once said:

There are naive questions, tedious questions, ill-phrased questions, questions put after inadequate self-criticism. But every question is a cry to understand the world. There is no such thing as a dumb question.

Everyone should be free to express their thoughts, especially those who take on the responsibility of independent journalists; people should be free to make up their own minds or else we walk into an Orwellian society where we are told what to watch read and believe. Without that right of freedom of expression, tyranny becomes prevalent; everyone has an opinion, even though it is important to source and back up your reasoning. Can 10,000 people at YouTube and others elsewhere really be put in charge of determining what information should and shouldn’t be decimated by the public?

Ironically, Activist Post reported months ago that since Google was heading towards targeting critical thinkers demonized as “Conspiracy Theorists” who ask the difficult questions in its rating guidelines, YouTube wouldn’t be too long to follow behind those actions.

Considering that the origination of the word “Conspiracy Theorist” comes from the CIA, I would say using a derogatory word to discuss those who think is dangerous. More modernized, in fact, it is also straight out of the JTIRG playbook that NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden revealed.

Misinformation is plaguing the Internet, but who is to decide what is and isn’t misinformation? The readers themselves need to, because policing thought and opinion opens a door to the avenue of a Truth Council and information oversight where admins (the purveyors of truth) decide what is and isn’t fact. What happens when one of these people doesn’t dig deep enough and just dismisses something without looking at the evidence, due to lack of information or understanding?

Of course, this all comes after Google hired 10,000 people to clean up its subsidiary company YouTube and has been blamed as a mistake by new employees banning the “alt-right,” Bloomberg reported.

“The Southern Poverty Law Center is assisting YouTube in policing content on their platform,” The Daily Caller reported. “The left-wing nonprofit — which has more recently come under fire for labeling legitimate conservative organizations as “hate groups” — is one of the more than 100 non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and government agencies in YouTube’s ‘Trusted Flaggers’ program, a source with knowledge of the arrangement told TheDC.”

We don’t need thought police; we need thought leaders and free speech regardless of beliefs. It’s extremely worrying that all of Silicon Valley believes it’s now time to filter information that the general public can receive. Trying to control information and playing the purveyors of truth is a dangerous game.

They raised $400,000 for a homeless man — who claims they spent it on vacations, casinos and a BMW

The act of kindness seemed destined to pull Johnny Bobbitt from the depths of homelessness and drug abuse he was struggling with on the day Kate McClure’s car sputtered to a stop in front of him.

She was a motorist on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia who found herself stuck on an off-ramp, scared and out of gas.

He was a homeless veteran who told her to lock her doors, then spent his last $20 to bring her a canister of fuel.

Later she sought to repay the favor, first with cereal bars and warm socks and spare dollars, then with a GoFundMe campaign to raise money so the good Samaritan would not have to sleep under a bridge. Bobbitt, she told anyone who would listen, deserved a fresh start.

“I wish that I could do more for this selfless man, who went out of his way just to help me that day,” she said in the GoFundMe campaign, which she and her boyfriend, Mark D’Amico, crafted in the car after visiting with Bobbitt following their October meeting. “He is such a great guy, and talking to him each time I see him makes me want to help him more and more.”

They hoped the GoFundMe would raise $10,000, but the story resonated. It was featured in national newspapers, including The Washington Post. The pair made an appearance on “Good Morning America" and were interviewed by the BBC — a feel-good story at the start of the holiday season. In a few months, the campaign had raised more than $400,000 from nearly 14,000 donors, and Bobbitt’s prospects had brightened.

But over the past 10 months, the sweet story has soured.

There are accusations of mismanagement and outright theft of the money raised on Bobbitt’s behalf. The GoFundMe cash, Bobbitt suspected, had been squandered on vacations, a luxury car and more than one addiction. And this weekend, the threat of litigation loomed.

Last fall, McClure said, the plan was to get Bobbitt a house and his dream truck, a 1999 Ford Ranger. Bobbitt also planned to donate money to people and organizations that had helped him as he struggled with homelessness.

The plan was to make the second act of Bobbitt’s life a successful one, and for a while, things seemed happy. Pictures showed Bobbitt at McClure and D’Amico’s house at Christmas, posing next to the tree, wearing adult onesies and baking cookies.

In reality, things weren’t that rosy. Instead of a house, McClure and D’Amico got Bobbitt a camper, which they kept in their names and parked on land owned by D’Amico’s family, according to news reports. They bought him a television, a laptop and two cellphones, food and clothing — and a used SUV that was soon broken-down and idle.

What he didn’t get, though, was any type of ownership over the money raised on his behalf. He met briefly with a financial adviser, but there was never any lawyer or any trust, according to Richmond CBS affiliate WTVR. D’Amico said he kept $200,000 — what remained after buying the camper and the SUV and other expenses — in a savings account that he would gladly turn over to Bobbitt once he kicked an addiction to opioids and managed to hold down a job.

But Bobbitt said he saw troubling signs for the money that thousands had donated to him. McClure is a receptionist for the New Jersey Department of Transportation and D’Amico is a carpenter, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. But suddenly she had a new BMW, and the couple was taking vacations to Florida and California and Las Vegas, Bobbitt told the Inquirer. He learned of a helicopter ride they took over the Grand Canyon.

And he told the Inquirer that D’Amico has gambled away some of the GoFundMe money. (D’Amico told the newspaper he had used $500 from the account to gamble on a night when he forgot his SugarHouse Casino card but had “quickly repaid” the money with his winnings.)

Good intentions had given way to something else, Bobbitt told the Philadelphia Inquirer.

With that amount of money, I think it became greed,” Bobbitt said.

According to the Inquirer, D’Amico spoke of expenses he and his girlfriend had incurred caring for Bobbitt, including time they took off from work.

And D’Amico gave an “evolving account” of how he handled the money to the Inquirer:

Initially, he said he would not produce financial records because the money was put into an existing account at PNC bank that does not belong to Bobbitt. On Wednesday, he said he and McClure had opened up a separate account for Bobbitt. On Thursday morning he said he told a reporter the trusts had been set up because that’s what Bobbitt wanted him to say.

The money that came to Bobbitt couldn’t stop his addiction. He went through two unsuccessful stints in rehab that brought him no closer to being sober. Some of the money GoFundMe donors gave to him ended up in the pockets of drug dealers, Bobbitt told the Inquirer.

In April, six months after his fateful meeting with McClure, Bobbitt told the Inquirer that he had been clean for three weeks and jobless for much longer.

“It’s going to be a struggle for the rest of my life,” he said of his addiction.

D’Amico, who frequently gave Bobbitt a ride to counseling sessions and group meetings, told the Inquirer that giving a six-figure sum to a man addicted to opioids is “like me handing him a loaded gun. He has to do what he has to do to get his life together.”

On Saturday, it was unclear how much of the money earmarked to Bobbitt had actually gone to him. D’Amico told the Inquirer he had made some lump-sum payments to Bobbitt, but D’Amico and McClure did not return calls or messages to The Post seeking comment. They also didn’t provide financial statements or records in interviews with other news organizations.

Chris Fallon, an attorney hired by Bobbitt, told The Post on Saturday that they “are attempting to secure an accounting before a scheduled meeting on Monday” and didn’t want to speak for fear of jeopardizing arbitration efforts.

GoFundMe told the Associated Press it has launched an investigation to determine whether the money was mismanaged and is working to ensure Bobbitt “receives the help he deserves and that the donors’ intentions are honored.”

If Bobbitt’s claims are true, it would be the biggest case of GoFundMe fraud or mismanagement seen by GoFraudMe, a whistleblower organization, according to Adrienne Gonzalez, the site’s publisher.

Some of the hucksters are serial scammers who start dozens or hundreds of bogus campaigns in a day, said Gonzalez. Others fake diseases, figuring no one will demand evidence of, say, a recent cancer diagnosis.

And still others, she said, end up unwitting fraudsters — unqualified to handle the vast sums of money they suddenly find themselves stewards of.

“From the bat, it’s clear that there was no sort of plan,” Gonzalez said of Bobbitt’s case. “She didn’t plan on it exploding, but once it started to explode, she didn’t think about how this man was actually going to get help. People contributed not thinking that this is a sick individual who needs help — and no amount of money is going to make that go away overnight.”

Savvy donors should look for a plan that ensures the money will make it to a needy person, and some type of accountability measures to ensure donations don’t end up in the wrong pockets, she said.

Nearly a year after Bobbitt and McClure met, the camper is gone, and so is the SUV. Bobbitt told the Inquirer that he remains an addict and still doesn’t have access to the money that was supposed to turn his life around.

At night, he sleeps under a bridge at the intersection of Callowhill and Second Streets, near an I-95 on-ramp. He spends his days doing exactly what he was doing when McClure’s car stopped in front of him: panhandling.

This post initially included the wrong location for WTVR. This post has been updated.

Johnny Bobbitt Jr., the homeless veteran who gave $20 for gas to Kate McClure, is back on the streets with his brother. Bobbitt said he is panhandling once again and using drugs, and he has no access to the money raised on his behalf. (David Swanson/Philadelphia Inquirer/AP)

Why Is Planet Earth On Fire?

By Catherine J. Frompovich

Fire season 2018 has taken an incredible toll on the planet, its people and wildlife, and the entire ecological infrastructure which has provided life-sustaining habitats for all forms of life. That “balance of Nature” has been messed and mucked with by global controllers, military, science and technology creating a perfect Hegelian Dialecticproblem, reaction, solution – only their modus operandi has produced a trajectory toward the “Venus syndrome,” or possibly something worse.

Their “problem” is creating weather, aka geoengineering or weather control mechanisms, which the average “Joe” and “Josephine” literally have no clue about other than what they hear from controlled-media news and sanitized weather ‘reports’. There is a total government ban on discussing weather geoengineering by weather forecasters and the media.

The “reaction” is 95% human apathy toward what we are misleadingly told about those ‘contrails’ rather than Solar Radiation Management (SRM) or weather geoengineering appearing in the skies as ‘trails’ containing chemicals and other toxins deliberately to effectuate global weather patterns. There are hundreds of U.S. patents to that effect. You can find them listed here.

The controllers’ “solution” is daily manipulation of global weather patterns to the point where, in my opinion, they have lost control and, either accidentally or deliberately, ruined the hydrologic cycle [1] of Planet Earth.

Recent 36 inches of rainfall from “Lane” on the Hawaiian Islands [2] ought to make people question what we are being told. The township where I live in Southeast Pennsylvania in a very recent 30-day period officially registered 15.5 inches of rain, which was announced prior to a Board of Supervisors meeting. People are starting to notice, but seemingly cannot connect the dots erringly visible above their heads on a daily basis!

It’s insane how much controlled media misinformation and lack of factual information keep humans from knowing the “real deal,” how to take precautionary measures, but more so, to bring this insidious, deliberate, mad-man-made technological catastrophe upon Planet Earth and all her inhabitants.

As an aside, this is not the first time possible entity-control mechanisms have ruined planets. Various ‘legends’ exist regarding numerous ‘pre-historic’ wars both on Earth and in this galaxy’s planetary neighborhoods. One such ‘interesting’ legend is about how the asteroid belt was formed. Either someone has a fantastic creative writing ability, or there just may be some strands of facts in the esoteric writings from ages ago.

Probably the most insidious current 21st century weather management ‘detail’ is a contrived method for “cooling down” certain parts of the globe utilizing forest fires to create smoke clouds, which act as ‘sun screens’ thereby preventing planetary heating, an oxymoron, since weather geoengineers actually are creating the heating of the atmosphere with all the toxic sprays, HAARP-billion-watt-microwave infusions into the ionosphere and other off-planet ‘gadgets’ above our heads which use varioustechnologies to create the desired catastrophic weather patterns of drought, flooding, severe hurricanes, chemical ice nucleation and possibly some HAARP-induced earth movements, i.e., earthquakes, sinkholes, or other anomalies such as the Arctic methane releases . Methane, if you aren’t aware, is a perfect “heat trapping gas.”

This link shows the status of global fires in July 2018.

Another map of global fires and what’s happening with deliberate weather control geoengineering efforts being used to “cool” the planet via massive forest fire smoke can been seen in the following video produced by Dane Wigington of GeoengineeringWatch.org. GeoengineeringWatch.org

Climate Engineering Total Desperation, Engineering Catastrophic Wildfires To Temporarily Cool Earth

Do you think this is an anomaly or freakish act of Mother Nature?

In August 2014, here was the state of forest fires for United States, Canada, Europe and worldwide.

According to this website August 21, 2018, it looks like most of California is burning. What will happen to food production capabilities for the coming winter, since most of USA winter fresh foods, i.e., veggies, are grown in California? Will the next catastrophe we face, as a result of weather geoengineering, be famine and no food? Destroying housing and the environment is not enough?

Please wake up; look up; and speak up about what’s going on regarding weather.

It’s not Mother Nature, nor is it an Act of God; it’s controlling the weather, which the U.S. Air Force claims it will do by 2025.
