Reporter Exposes US, UK and French Government Lies About Syria

Assad Syrian people support
OAN News reporter, Pearson Sharp, is currently in Syria and was there during the cruise missile attack by the US, UK and France early last Friday morning.

His report exposes the lies told by Western media that it is not possible to gain access to Syria, and that the Syrian people are being oppressed by a "brutal dictator".
The vast majority of Syrians fully support their government and army and want nothing more than for the Western-backed terrorist "rebels" to leave the country and leave Syria in peace.

Trump’s Disastrous Syria Attack Just Created a Big, Fat Mess

April 16, 2018 at 3:58 pm

(RPI) — Over the weekend, President Trump celebrated firing more than 100 missiles into Syria by Tweeting, “Mission Accomplished!” They say if you cannot learn from history you are condemned to repeat it. So I guess we are repeating it.

We all remember that “Mission Accomplished” was the banner behind then-President Bush as he gloated aboard a US navy ship that the war in Iraq had been won. After his “victory,” however, some 4,000 US military personnel were killed, perhaps a million Iraqis were killed, and the country’s infrastructure and social fabric were so badly destroyed that they probably can never be repaired.

Actually, there is much about the US attack on Syria that reminds us of Iraq.

With Iraq, the US moved in to start bombing before international inspectors had completed their mission to verify whether or not Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction. Had they been allowed to complete their mission and verify that he did not, imagine the suffering, death, and destruction that could have been avoided. In Syria, the US decided to start bombing before the international inspectors were even allowed to start checking claims that Assad gassed his own people in Douma. Why? What was the rush? Was Washington afraid they might not find Assad guilty?

Who really benefits from US attacks on the Syrian government? There were reports that ISIS began making moves immediately after the air strikes. Do we really want to be al-Qaeda and ISIS’s airforce? Is that going to keep us safer? I remember when al-Qaeda was actually considered our enemy, not an ally in overthrowing the last secular government in the Middle East.

Will Syria’s Christians be better off after the recent US attack? Just over a week ago Christians celebrated Easter in Aleppo for the first time in years. What changed? The Syrian army kicked out al-Qaeda, which had been occupying the eastern part of the city. So no, Christians will be much worse off if our “moderate terrorists” take control of Syria.

If Syria really had sarin and other chemical weapons factories, does it make sense for the US to bomb the buildings and risk killing thousands by widely disbursing the poisons? Does it make sense to risk killing Syrian civilians with chemical weapons in retaliation for allegations that the Syrian government killed civilians with chemical weapons? No, it seems more like the phony “mobile WMD labs” we were told that Saddam Hussein had constructed.

If the US knew Syria was manufacturing chemical weapons in the buildings they bombed, why not notify the Organization for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons (OPCW)? The OPCW had certified the very building the US bombed as chemical weapons free not that long ago. Why not just call them up and ask them to check it out? After all, they were just arriving in the country as the US started bombing.

There are many more questions about President Trump’s terrible decision to again make war on Syria. For example, where is Congress? It was disgraceful to see Speaker Paul Ryan telling the President he needs no Congressional authorization to attack Syria. All Members of Congress take an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution and the Constitution says that only Congress can declare war. Does that oath mean nothing these days?

President Trump will come to regret the day he let the neocons take over his foreign policy. Their track record is abysmal. His attack on Syria was clearly illegal and should his party lose the House in November he may find his new fair-weather friends in the Democratic Party quickly turning foul.

SUICIDE MACHINE: ‘SARCO’ DEATH POD THAT LETS USERS KILL THEMSELVES SHOWCASED

BY

The Sarco 3D-printed euthanasia device was showcased during a funeral fair in Amsterdam on April 14, 2018.EXIT INTERNATIONAL

A 3D-printed euthanasia device that will assist users to kill themselves was displayed for the first time on Saturday (April 14) during a funeral fair in Amsterdam. Dubbed ‘Sarco,’ short for sarcophagus, the model was revealed alongside a virtual reality (VR) demonstration which let attendees experience the pod in action.

The device first hit the headlines last year after prototype designs were released by its two creators, Australian euthanasia activist Dr. Philip Nitschke, who has been nicknamed “Dr. Death,” and Dutch engineer Alexander Bannink. In 1997, Nitschke founded the ‘end-of-life’ non-profit organization Exit International.

The Sarco provides death by hypoxia, or low levels of oxygen, and is designed to be portable. It will come with a built-in detachable coffin and its inventors claim that a fully-functioning version will be built this year, after which the blueprints will be made open source and published online for anyone to access and download.

“In many countries suicide is not against the law, only assisting a person to commit suicide is,” Nitschke told Agence France-Presse (AFP) at the event.

“This is a situation where one person chooses to press a button rather than for instance standing in front of a train. I believe it’s a fundamental human right [to choose when to die]. It’s not just some medical privilege for the very sick. If you’ve got the precious gift of life, you should be able to give that gift away at the time of your choosing.”

According to AFP, the funeral fair drew a crowd of thousands but the device had a mixed reception. “I think it’s quite silly,” Rob Bruntink, 52, told the news agency.

Exit Euthanasia Q&A Tomorrow Sun 15 Apr on FB @ 17.00 Amsterdam - the Sarco at the Amsterdam Funeral Fair. How technology changes EVERY end of life option ..huge interest, (although some at the Fair saw the VR display as a poor video game...but Sarco isn’t a game!)

A press release that was published prior to the weekend funeral event stated: “The Sarco will sit on a generator using liquid nitrogen. To activate Sarco, a person would step inside, lie down and, when ready, press the button. While being very peaceful, the hypoxic death will also have style and elegance.

In an op-ed published in The Huffington Post this year, Nitschke explained how the suicide machine is intended to work. He said that all potential customers would have to fill out an “online test” to judge their mental fitness. If they pass the examination, they will be given a code to the Sarco that is valid for 24 hours.

From there, the user enters the code and the final death process begins. The creator said that “liquid nitrogen in the generator is released, rapidly bringing down the oxygen level in the capsule.” Nitschke claimed it was painless, stating: “Within a minute, the user loses consciousness; death comes a short time later.”

But he conceded: “The Sarco will not be for everyone, that’s clear.”

The War in Syria was a US Intervention Since “Day 1”

The document exposes both then and now, the amount of influence the US exerts across the Middle East and North Africa. It also undermines the perceived agency of states including Israel and NATO-member Turkey, revealing their subordination to US interests and that actions taken by these states are often done on behalf of Wall Street and Washington rather than on behalf of their own national interests.

Also mentioned in the document are a variety of manufactured pretexts listed to justify a unilateral military strike on northern Syria by Turkey. The document explains:

Turkey has considered undertaking a unilateral military strike against terrorist camps in northern Syria and would not hesitate from using menacing diplomatic language against Syria on these issues.

Comparing this signed and dated 1983 US CIA document to more recent US policy papers and revelations of US funding of so-called activists prior to 2011, reveals not only continuity of agenda – but that attempts to portray the 2011 “uprising” as spontaneous and as merely exploited by the US are disingenuous.

Breaking the Cycle

The current stalemate in Syria is owed to Russia’s involvement in the conflict. This began in 2013 when Moscow brokered a political deal preventing US military intervention then – and again in 2015 when the Russian military – upon Damascus’ request – built up a presence within the nation. Today, it is the threat of Russian retaliation that has hemmed in US options and plunged American special interests into increasing depths of desperation.

The recent missile strikes by the US and its tentative holdings in eastern Syria reflect geopolitical atrophy amid a conflict that was initially aimed at quickly stampeding the Syrian government from power back in 2011.

Washington’s inability to achieve its objectives leave it in an increasingly desperate position – attempting to reassert itself in the region or face the irreversible decline of its so-called “international order.” However, a desperate hegemon in decline is still dangerous.

ISIS threatens to bomb New York's subway in chilling poster showing a militant with sticks of dynamite at High Street Brooklyn Bridge Station

  • - The ISIS propaganda poster warns of a bombing raid on New York City's subway
  • - Sign in background shows location to be High Street - Brooklyn Bridge Station
  • - It comes with the chilling warning: 'You will not expect where we will attack'

ISIS propaganda chiefs have issued a chilling threat to bring death and destruction to New York's subway.

The terror group has vowed to attack Paris and the World Cup finals in Russia in recent weeks as part of a global campaign of lone wolf strikes as it continues to lose territory in the Middle East.

In its latest warning, uploaded to militant Islamist messaging platforms, a man is pictured standing on the platform at New York's High Street - Brooklyn Bridge Station with explosives and a timer behind him.

The poster includes the threat: 'You will not expect where we will attack.'

Last year extremists also threatened to attack the Queen and the Vatican City.

The group's propaganda wing – the Wafa Media Foundation - is continuing to churn out threats despite the so-called ISIS caliphate suffering huge losses in Syria and Iraq.

ISIS fanatics are increasingly turning to lone-wolf supporters to take up their violent cause around the world.

World Cup target: An ISIS poster released earlier this month shows Russian President Vladimir Putin with a target aiming straight at him and a packed football arena in the background

'Wafa Media Foundation specialises in these types of graphics. Wafa's threat, like others recently issued by pro-ISIS media groups, is a specific attack directive within a larger push by ISIS for lone wolf attacks as it rapidly loses territory in Iraq and Syria,' said Rita Katz, director of the respected SITE Intelligence Group,

'Though these threats should be taken seriously, there is also a publicity element to pro-ISIS media groups' threats against places like the Vatican or events like 2018 FIFA World Cup.'
