I Have The Answer To Cancer, But American Doctors Won't Listen. They Come Here And Observe My...

"I have the answer to cancer, but American doctors won't listen. They come here and observe my methods and are impressed. Then they want to make a special deal so they can take it home and make a lot of money. I won't do it, so I'm blackballed in every country."

Too many in the natural health field, especially writers, scoff at the Budwig Diet’s core protocol as unreal and unsuited for reversing cancer. There are other dietary requirements that are part of her protocol. Lots of sunshine and stress management are also part of Johanna Budwig’s approach to healing the whole person.

That core protocol is flaxseed oil and cottage cheese. Originally it was flaxseed oil and quark, a crumbly textured white cheese resembling ricotta that is common among German speaking nations, Scandinavian countries, and much of the Eastern European region. But quark is not available in America. So here it’s cottage cheese instead of quark.

Even Dr. Andrew Weil was quoted as criticizing the Budwig Diet with “curing cancer with cottage cheese is wishful thinking”. Yet over a 50 year period, Johanna Budwig had a 90% plus cancer cure rate in Germany among 4500 patients afflicted with all types of cancers. Some cancer victims that she cured with her protocol were considered terminal.

The Scientific Basis of Using Flaxseed Oil and Quark or Cottage Cheese to Cure Cancer

As a biochemist and physicist in the early 1950`s, Johanna was a senior scientist in the German Federal Health Office, comparable to the American FDA but with less bureaucratic corruption. Her task was to help determine what might be appropriate for cancer curing medication from German pharmaceutical companies.

One pharmaceutical company forwarded applications to her for a sulfhydryl group, which are proteins (amino acids) that contain sulfur. That company was considering applying the sulfhydryl group toward cancer medication. The data obtained from that company enabled Budwig to get an overview of the problems involved with oxygenating cancer cells through dietary means. Cancer cells cannot thrive in oxygen.

This was an area that the 1931 Nobel Prize winner Otto Warburg had hoped to resolve. He was the one who discovered that cancer cells thrive in an anaerobic environment, but could not survive in an oxygen rich environment. He was looking for a respiratory enzyme that would help oxygenate cancer cells.

Warburg was aware that fats had something to do with inhibiting or enhancing cellular oxygen absorption, but during his time fats were not classified with their biochemical structures and functions. It was around 1951 that Johanna Budwig discovered methods for determining the different properties of fatty acids.

Consequently, she was funded to continue her research categorizing the different properties of fatty acids. Johanna examined the molecular properties of many fats, determining if they were saturated or unsaturated, if they were isolating linoleic acid or lauric acid and if they inhibited or enhanced cellular oxygen absorption. Factually, most of what is known today about fatty acids comes from Johann Budwig’s mid 20th Century research discoveries.

By1952, Dr. Budwig submitted a paper on the results of her research, stating:

Without these fatty acids, the respiratory enzymes cannot function and the person suffocates, even when he is given oxygen-rich air. A deficiency in these highly unsaturated fatty-acids impairs many vital functions. First of all, it decreases the person’s supply of available oxygen. We cannot survive without air and food; nor can we survive without these fatty acids.

Johanna Budwig had determined that organic cold pressed flaxseed oil was the most suitable fat to combine with an easy to eat protein-sulfur of quark/cottage cheese for the elusive respiratory enzyme that could penetrate cancer cells. These two disparate foods were able to combine and create the oxygen within cancer cells for restoring normalcy.

The Budwig Diet was arrived at from extensive research, which was not even possible until her discoveries of how to determine the properties of fatty acids. Cottage cheese/quark with pure cold pressed flax oil for curing cancer is not merely a culinary quirk.

She was born in 1908 and died in 2003 at the age of 95 from complications due to injuries after a fall in her home. As a result of her research from the 1950’s and on, she was nominated for the Alternative Nobel Prize, Europe’s counterpart to the Swedish Nobel Prize, seven times.

Naturally, her successful treatment of many cancer patients, some of whom were terminal, led to professional envy in Germany. She was harassed through the German court system a couple of times, and both times the courts favored her! She proceeded to expand her knowledge and legitimacy by getting a doctorate in Natural Sciences to become a PhD Naturopath.

This broadened her understanding of how connected all living things are with bio-electrical energy and sunlight. She talks of how seeds that absorb the sun’s energy, such as flax seeds, connect with the human organism’s innate intelligence to convert bio-electric energy for its organic needs – thus the sunshine aspect of her therapy to connect with the flax oil consumption.

Budwig was medically blacklisted because she publicly opposed chemotherapy and radiation on cancer patients. She also didn’t make friends with cooking and salad oil manufacturers when she started exposing the terrible health consequences of using heated, chemically treated processed or hydrogenated oils that were being foisted on the public from the 1950’s on.

Until only recently, virtually all consumers had been suckered into using those oils, which actually contribute toward creating cancer. Ironically, if Budwig’s concerns had been publicized, a lot of poor health turned cancerous from bad oils would have been eliminated.

When it comes to the cottage cheese in this video, realize that low fat was recommended solely because low fat was the dimwitted trend for so long. Whole milk products, raw if possible, are fine. Adhere strictly to the rest of what’s in this video.

If you’re at all interested in the Budwig Diet for cancer or other health issues, you must know the pitfalls. Though simple, it’s precise enough that those who deviate from its guidelines fail. That’s why you should research starting with the following sources for more information: Covers the Budwig diet well with testimonials and access to her books: http://www.cancertutor.com/budwig/

Here's What Happens When You Compare Violence in the Quran to Violence in the Bible

Mic

To the well-informed this staggering statistic should come as no surprise: Fifty-eight percent of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of Islam. And with that comes a laundry list of misinformation about the faith's holy text, the Quran.

But a recent project by data analyst and research marketer Tom Anderson turns one common misconception on its head: that the Quran is more consumed by blood thirst than the Christian Bible. Using text-analysis tools developed by OdinText, Anderson determined what percentage of the Bible was devoted to discussion of violence and then compared those results to that of the Quran.

The point of the project, Anderson wrote, was to "uncover with as little bias as possible the extent to which any of these texts is qualitatively and/or quantitatively distinct from the others using metrics associated with violence, love and so on."

Read More: This Is What Happens When You Show People a Bible With a Quaran's Cover on It

Of the three books, the project found, the Old Testament is the most violent, with approximately 5.3% of the text referring to "destruction and killing" — the Quran clocked in at just 2.1%, with the New Testament slightly higher at 2.8%.

While the New Testament led in mentions of the concept of love, the Quran leads heavily in mentions of mercy — thanks partially to Allah's title, "the merciful."

Perhaps the most notable difference, though, was between the frequency of positive emotions that surfaced in the Quran when compared to both books of the Bible, as depicted in the chart below.

Anderson is careful to point out the shortcomings of his findings more than once, noting the sensitivity of the issue his work tackled. By his own admission, his findings are "by no means intended to be conclusive."

"Ours is a 30,000-foot, cursory view of three texts: the Quran and the Old and New testaments," Anderson wrote.

Then there's the inherent issue in using automated tools to generate statistics that do not take context into account.

According to Anderson, the findings challenge the popular notion among Westerners that Muslims subscribe to a particularly violent faith. Indeed, he concluded, "of the three texts, the content in the Old Testament appears to be the most violent."

This sentiment was recently illustrated by Dutch filmmakers Sacha Harland and Alexander Spoor, who read passages to passersby from what they said was the Quran — but actually pulled from the Bible.

"To me, this sounds like they want to oppress you and force you to believe what they believe," one woman told the two.

However, Atlantic contributor Caner K. Dagli wrote that understanding the connection between religion and violence necessitates a deeper kind of analysis.

"Determining what texts 'plainly' say is not as easy as spotting some words on a page," Dagli wrote. "Islam's interpretative tradition exists because the differences between plain and hidden, elliptical and direct, absolute and qualified, are not always obvious."

NETANYAHU: WE WILL SURROUND ISRAEL WITH WALLS 'TO DEFEND AGAINST WILD BEASTS'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Tuesday that the government is in the planning stages of a multi-year project to surround the entirety of Israel with security barriers to defend against what he called “wild beasts” in the region.

“At the end, in the State of Israel, as I see it, there will be a fence that spans it all. I’ll be told, ‘This is what you want, to protect the villa?’ The answer is yes,” said Netanyahu, according to Israeli daily newspaper
Haaretz.

“Will we surround all of the State of Israel with fences and barriers? The answer is yes. In the area that we live in, we must defend ourselves against the wild beasts.”

His comments came during a visit to
Israel’s southern border with Jordan, where he was viewing the first stage of the planned security barrier that will stretch across the entirety of Israel’s eastern border.

Israel is surrounded by a number of Arab states and territories, namely Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The Israeli leader added that the construction plan will include closing the breaches in the separation barrier between Israel and the West Bank.

“This thing costs many billions, and we’re working on a multi-year plan of prioritization so it would be spread out over years in order to gradually build it, but to complete it to defend the State of Israel,” he said.

Palestinians in the West Bank have traveled into Israel without the requisite permits to carry out attacks against Israelis while Israel still faces the threat of Palestinian rocket attacks from the Gaza Strip.

The Lebanese Shiite militant group Hezbollah and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) have
carried out cross-border attacks against Israel from southern Lebanon and southern Syria respectively.

In southern Israel, there are fears of a cross-border attack by the Islamic State militant group (ISIS) affiliate
known as the Sinai Province and in eastern Israel, the security barrier is being extended to prevent the effects of the Syrian civil war spilling over onto Israeli territory.

Russia Declares There’s No Such Thing as ‘NATO Airspace’

As tensions mount over Turkey, minister declares 'such a notion as 'NATO airspace' does not exist'

By

In the bitter quarrel with Turkey over the latest alleged violation of the Turkish airspace by the Russian Sukhoi SU-34 frontline bomber, Russia sees no role for NATO to play.

On the contrary, Turkish Prime-Minister Ahmet Davutoglu instructed his country’ s Foreign Ministry to demand from Russia to give the explanations over the alleged incident straight to the NATO secretary general, Russia’s RIA News agency reported.

Russia’s diplomats have been strongly denying the latest accusation by Turkey and its partners, the Russian Ministry for Defense called it the “unsubstantiated propaganda” made by “ignorant propagandists watching Hollywood blockbusters.”

“There were no violations of Turkish airspace by planes of the Russian air group in the Syrian Arab Republic,” the Ministry’s spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said last week. “[Even if there were], none of the [Turkish] radars are able to establish the type and the nationality of the aircraft—whether Russian or of the U.S.-led so-called anti-ISIS coalition.”

Russia's Defense Ministry's spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov calls Turkey's claims "unsubstantiated propaganda."

Russia’s Defense Ministry’s spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov calls Turkey’s claims “unsubstantiated propaganda.”

Turkey, the U.S. and NATO insisted that the violation of Turkey’s airspace indeed took place on Jan. 29. The U.S. State Department’s Assistant Secretary and spokesperson John Kirby called it “not accusation” but a “simple fact.”

Not for the first time, the U.S. stood strongly by its ally Turkey. “We are aware of reports and can confirm that yesterday another Russian combat aircraft violated Turkish—and NATO—airspace,” the Pentagon spokesman Mark Wright said in a written statement on the next day after the incident.

“On the 29th of January, another Russian combat airplane violated Turkish—and NATO—airspace,” the State Department’s John Kirby said, echoing word for word his colleague from the Pentagon.

Mr. Kirby declined the offer to provide any proof of the Turkey airspace violation by Russian bomber. “It’s not our responsibility to provide proof to the Russians for something they did wrong,” he said to the RT reporter.

For its part, NATO also strongly endorsed Turkey’s claim of Russian aircraft violating Turkish and NATO airspace. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg made a statement calling on Russia “to act responsibly and to fully respect ‘NATO airspace.'”

“Russia must take all necessary measures to ensure that such violations do not happen again,” Mr. Stoltenberg said. “[NATO] stands in solidarity” with Turkey, its member.

Russia’ s blunt reaction on this cognate NATO and U.S. statements sheds light on Russia’ s perspective on the “NATO airspace” question—probably with far-reaching implications around the world.

“It’s strange to hear the reports that address us to go to the [NATO] alliance [to clear the situation over the alleged violation] because such a notion as ‘NATO airspace’ does not exist,” said Andrei Kelin, head of the department of European cooperation of the Russian Foreign Ministry to RIA News agency.

“What does exist is the sovereign airspace of each country separately. [Just] last fall the Turkish representatives were saying that this [alleged violation of the Turkish airspace by the Russian jet-fighter that was shot down by Turkey] was not NATO’s issue but the issue exclusively of the bilateral relations. … I see no reason for this role [to negotiate the settlement of the current conflict] to be taken on by NATO.”

The Russian public holds Mr. Stoltenberg in low regard for his clumsy and unprofessional response to the mass slaughter of children by Anders Breivik in 2011 in Norway when 77 people were killed and more than 150 wounded. At the time of Breivik’s terrorist attacks Mr. Stoltenberg served as Norway’ s prime minister.

Meanwhile, the Russian media blames Turkey for the latter’s everyday violations of Greek sovereign airspace.

Since employing its cutting-edge S-400 air-defense systems in Syria, Russia has taken full control over Syrian airspace (and a big chunk of Turkish airspace, too), becoming a master-in-chief of the Syrian skies and longing for a chance to avenge herself for the Russian plane shot down by Turkey and the Russian pilot killed by pro-Turkey insurgents last November.

For now, when the Russia-backed Syrian army fights Assad’s enemies less than 20 miles from the Turkish border, Russia made it clear that when she has a chance, she is not going to allow Turkey to hide behind NATO. The dangerous escalation has a chance soon to make it known if there really is such a thing as “NATO airspace” after all.

Look Inside ISIS's Secret Tunnels Stocked With American Ammo

The AP obtained extensive video footage of the tunnels, which were uncovered by Kurdish forces.

AP

IRBIL, Iraq (AP) — Under the Iraqi town of Sinjar, Islamic State group militants built a network of tunnels, complete with sleeping quarters, wired with electricity and fortified with sandbags. There, they had boxes of U.S.-made ammunition, medicines and copies of the Quran stashed on shelves.

The Associated Press obtained extensive video footage of the tunnels, which were uncovered by Kurdish forces that took the city in northwestern Iraq earlier this month after more than a year of IS rule.

"We found between 30 and 40 tunnels inside Sinjar," said Shamo Eado, a commander from Sinjar from the Iraqi Kurdish fighters known as peshmerga. "It was like a network inside the city."

"Daesh dug these trenches in order to hide from airstrikes and have free movement underground as well as to store weapons and explosives," Eado said using an Arabic acronym for the Islamic State group. "This was their military arsenal."

The video, shot by a freelancer touring the town with Kurdish fighters, showed two tunnels running several hundred meters (yards), each starting and ending from houses, through holes knocked in walls or floors.

The narrow tunnels, carved in the rock apparently with jackhammers or other handheld equipment, are just tall enough for a man to stand in. Rows of sandbags line sections of the walls, electrical wires power fans and lights and metal braces reinforce the ceilings. One section of the tunnel resembled a bunker. Dusty copies of the Quran sit above piles of blankets and pillows. Prescription drugs — painkillers and antibiotics — lie scattered along the floor.

In another section of the tunnel, the footage shows stocks of ammunition, including American-made cartridges and bomb-making tools.

In this image made from video taken on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2015, a member of Kurdish security forces shows a tunnel complex under the city of Sinjar, northern Iraq that were used by Islamic State fighters to move undetected and avoid coalition airstrikes bef

IS has been digging tunnels for protection and movement throughout the territory it controls in Iraq and Syria, even before the U.S.-led coalition launched its campaign of airstrikes against the group more than a year ago. "This has been part of ISIS' strategy from the very beginning," said Lina Khatib a senior research associate at the Arab Reform initiative, a Paris-based think-tank. "ISIS has been well prepared for this kind of intervention."

The Islamic State group took control of Sinjar in August 2014, killing and capturing thousands of the town's mostly Yazidi residents. Yazidis, a religious minority in Iraq with roots that date back to ancient Mesopotamia, are considered heretics by the hard-line Islamic State group. Hundreds of women are thought to still be in IS captivity, those who have escaped say many Yazidi women are forced to convert to Islam and marry IS fighters.

After pushing IS out of Sinjar, peshmerga officials and local residents have uncovered two mass graves in the area. One, not far from the city center is estimated to hold 78 elderly women's bodies. The second grave uncovered about 9 miles (15 kilometers) west of Sinjar contained between 50 and 60 bodies of men, women and children.

Eado, the peshmerga commander, said that as Kurdish forces clear Sinjar of explosives, he expects to find more tunnels and evidence of atrocities.

"It's just a matter of time," he said.
