Glad to see you here and I can only add to what Janet said...usually a free autoresponder means they put ads on your messages that you send.
My business partner and I use Aweber to send to our lists in our real estate business. It's not very expensive and you get unlimited usage. You can have many different lists of people and have different campaigns for them. Anyway, for a little money we feel that we get a great value and Aweber has been around for a very long time and has proven itself. We also like it because unlike some autoresponders, Aweber requires the person who signed up to verify their request by clicking on a link that is automatically sent to them when they sign up. If they don't click the link, they aren't added into our list. To me this is essential, but there are some autoresponders that don't ask the subscriber to verify...I know because I have been added to so many lists that I know I didn't sign up for & all of a sudden I am getting their autoresponder messages, which drives me crazy when I didn't ask to be added.
