The Holy Bible says,

"Watch out for false prophets...." (Matthew 7:15).

There were also false prophets among the people,

just as there will be false teachers among you. (2 Peter 2:1).

My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions

and utter lying divinations. ...(Ezekiel 13:9 ).

The Holy Bible says,

Watch out for false prophets.

They come to you in sheep's clothing,

but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.

Absolutely. and the best way to guard against false profits is to read the scriptures for yourself. After all the difference between "Ye shall surely die" and "Ye shall not surely die" (Genisis 3:4) is a single three letter word.

Pleasant night to all. For it is written and if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ, or lo, he is there; believe him not: for false Christ and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possinle, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. (Mark 13: 21-23). We need to dwell in the word of God. We must consistently and conscientiously ask God to bless us with the Spirit of discernment, to be able to see the truth in people and circumstance through the guidance of His Holy Spirit.
