All of a sudden I am seeing hummus recipes! Here is another one. You may need to cut down the recipe, as it looks like it will make a large amount. Hummus 3 cans chickpeas, rinsed and drained 1/2 cup tahini (sesame paste) 8 cloves of minced garlic. 2/3 cup olive oil 1/2 cup lemon juice salt and pepper to taste 1/2 cup chopped parsley Combine first 6 ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Place in a bowl and sprinkle with parsley. Serve with crackers, pita bread, or bread product of your choice. You could use it as a dip for vegetables, too.
