Hi Phil thank you for putting this important part of history and humanity up to remind all of the Holocaust.

It is so important to remember what happened to the Jews and to never let anything like this happen again..

We learn from our past.

Thank you Phil.

Love, prayers and big hugs.

Barb

Hi Barb,

Thanks so much for stopping by and Thanks for your Comments.

"First they came ..." is a popular poem attributed to Pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984) about the inactivity of German intellectuals following the Nazi rise to power and the purging of their chosen targets, group after group. In Niemöller's first utterance of it, in a January 6, 1946 speech before representatives of the Confessing Church in Frankfurt, it went this way...

"THEY CAME FIRST for the Communists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Communist.

THEN THEY CAME for the Jews,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a Jew.

THEN THEY CAME for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist.

THEN THEY CAME for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.

THEN THEY CAME for me

May we never overlook Injustice, and may we never Fail To Speak Up And Say STOP!

Bless You My Friend.,

Phil
