From Lives of Lethargy to Lives that Matter – Part 2/6

The Millennium Development Campaign has announced global poverty has been in half ahead of 2015 [EPA]

The Millennium Development Campaign has announced global poverty has been in half ahead of 2015 [EPA]

(Continued from Part 1.)

The Assumption of Scarcity

The first “false grid” or belief system we may wish to look out for is the assumption of scarcity. Werner points out that we don’t simply think that things are scarce. We come from things being scarce. That is, we think from a condition of scarcity.

He offers the example of love. We may never have had the thought that love is scarce. Nevertheless, we can still come scarcity with respect to love; that is, that love is scarce.

Certainly I’ve said to myself that I only have so much love I can give so I can’t love everybody. I’ve doled out love in the same way I dole out money: with an eye to making it last and having some to give in the future. Or to give some to get some, to make a profit by getting more love than I give, etc.

Time is another example. No one ever has enough time.

Because we think things like love and time are scarce, we act to protect them. We create an economy of things based upon their assumed scarceness and our need to have more of them, protect them, measure them out, make them last, etc.

Thus scarcity is “one component of the structure of beliefs through which we perceive the world.” (1) It’s one of our filters.

Simply getting this matter as intellectual knowledge won’t do very much for us. Even getting a feel for it (experiential knowledge) may not be enough to move us to let it go. We need to get our assumption of scarcity at a direct and immediate, or realized, level. Werner says:

“You need to know it as a result of looking inside yourself and actually seeing how the belief in scarcity shapes your thoughts and actions..

“Pierce into your own system of beliefs and observe that you do believe in scarcity.

“While confronting this belief, get that it is not true that hunger and starvation persist on this planet because food is scarce.”

Just as inequities in distribution are what cause the persistence of hunger, not a lack of food, so with us financial wayshowerrs, the sequestering of money by the elite, and not a lack of money per se, is responsible for the poverty we see around us and our inability to respond to a situation such as the European migration. Millions if not billions of people are not living in poverty because money is scarce.

Our automatic assumption that money is scarce, rather than that it is plentiful but sequestered, prevents us from taking meaningful action to address the situation.

As it happens, global action is being taken to address both the sequestering and the redistribution of wealth. This freeing of funds and their redistribution will fly in the face of our conditioned belief that money is scarce.

Tomorrow I’d like to take a look at a second assumption: The assumption of inevitability.

(Continued in Part 3.)

FROM WISE OWL STEWART

Monday, February 15, 2016

First Quarter Moon Phase: step forward, take action

Moon in Gemini

Aspect of the Aeon Sophia (Wisdom): Matangi, Goddess of the Gentle Breeze

Aspect of the Aeon Thelete (Will/Desire): Seth, God of the North, God of Enlightenment

Skill: hold simplicity within the complexity

True Alignments: cooperation, sailing through troubles, team building, new chances, flowers as a remedy, refreshed, recognizing consequences, beauty, creativity, symbolism, revelations, seeing a path forward, fairy tales and other stories/myths that teach, letting go of darkness, imagination

Catalysts for Change: evading the truth, struggles, over-reliance on others to decide, insensitive to others, self-sacrifice, fear of change, valuing based only on functionality or efficiency, reacting from base instinct/base emotion, feeling of emptiness (the inner child may be seeking expression or bringing up forgotten talents or interests)

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Month: "a large white dove bearing a message" (signs and information, peace)

Sabian Symbol for the Solar-Lunar Year: "the music of the spheres"

Today, the Sun advises us to keep things simple, but complex energetics make that a little bit of a challenge.

The Sun is discharging the energy of 27 Aquarius and the Sabian symbol of "an ancient pottery bowl filled with violets." This images simplicity and purity in an innocent form. The bowl is formed by human hands using the elements of the Earth. It tells us to keep things simple, and it also inclines us toward beauty.

Additionally, as we are experiencing the Return of Wisdom, ancient sources of wisdom call to us. Books or information on esoteric subjects may come back across your mind or path, so we want to follow our intuition and follow any signs that recall this kind of material.

Within the overall theme of keeping things simple, two sophisticated dynamics are also occurring today:

1- TRANSITION: The Earth is located at "daybreak - the luminescence of dawn in the Eastern sky" and Mars is located at "a rabbit transformed into a fairy[elemental]." Both symbols imply changes -- changes from one state to another. Mindsets, attitudes, beliefs, ideas, or just about anything may be in heavy transition or evolution. This is a stage in the process of enlightenment, which is a process of becoming more aware of the nature of reality.

Furthering the mission of enlightenment (that is strong through the end of the solar-lunar year on April 6), today we also have slow-moving Neptune moving to the 10th degree of Pisces and the symbol of "an aviator in the clouds." Neptune is the planet that connects us with Spirit, and the dissemination of this symbol's energetic greatly helps with becoming enlightened to things that we need to see and know as we approach the end of the solar-lunar year. This energetic can take us (and things with which we are involved) to the highest level so that we can see way above and beyond our normal ability to view and conceive plans for the future.

Flying through cloud cover requires the use of instruments, and Neptune is providing the "instruments" we need to transition and transcend. We are paying close attention to signs and messages this month with the theme of "a large white dove bearing a message," and Neptune will amplify the fequency and strength of them.

2- REMOVAL: Mercury disseminates the energy of "a deserter from the navy," bringing up thoughts about leaving, opting out, or outright rebellion. The Wisdom Goddess Matangi is doing her clean sweep of the situations and circumstances that have become fallow or shallow. Most likely, these are things that do not hold up under the new energetics that this solar-lunar year ("the music of the spheres" or electro-magno-harmonico - like that? - that is raising and re-tuning human consciousness back into alignment with wisdom, sanity, and the value of life). This means that the things that are degrading or dissolving because they are not in alignment with the highest and best of ourselves and of humanity take a hit today. The energy is designed to remove what is difficult.

Venus is activating the energy of "a woman reading tea leaves," which enhances our ability to "read" the future, which often brings a catalyst for a change in the present.

As we hold a mindset of simplicity today, we also look within the complexity of the questions What is trying to transform?and What does today reveal about the future? Reviewing this report at the end of the day may bring those answers together very simply.

Thank you for supporting The Oracle Report!

Emerging from Indifference

IndifferenceQuan Yin and Archangel Gabrielle have discussed the problems of indifference, lethargy, apathy, etc., lately. (1)

We’re heading into a time when we’ll be called to stick our heads up, above the masses, and take a leadership role. We all know what the common wisdom is on what happens to people who stick their heads up. We make ourselves a target – or so it’s said.

I think we need to realize … well, many things really. But one we need to start with is how deeply we may have been affected by skepticism and ridicule and how much we may have given in to apathy and indifference.

I’ll be writing a series that looks at what Werner Erhard had to say about the difficulties that attend any attempt to make a difference in the world. These are pitfalls and ways of thinking and being that I believe we need to take into account when we begin our lightwork and especially our financial leadership.

I’d like to start by noting in passing the impact of our conditioning, especially in the area of believing that there’s no way to make a difference in our world, that real change is impossible, that people don’t want to change, that we are not the ones who could make a difference even if a difference could be made, etc., etc., and so forth.

Unknown to most of us, we’ve been subjected to a wide range of measures designed to dumb us down. Fluoride in toothpaste, chemtrails, food additives, electromagnetic pulses, subliminal messages and many more techniques and strategies all combine to keep us thinking about little if anything more significant than sex and consumerism, sports and hairdos.

While we were sleeping, our militaries perfected weapons of mass destruction and elaborate methods of crowd control, using the money that could have relieved hunger in the world.

While we looked the other way, they built FEMA camps to incarcerate intellectuals, complete with thousands and thousands of plastic coffins. We can guess what those were for.

The financial elite acquired companies, merged them, and flipped them. Automators skimmed their employees from their payroll. Dot com bubbles sucked value from the stock market.

And all the time they called such enlightened measures as universal medicare “socialism,” a label which had us back away from draining money from their “defense” budgets. Down and down the mass of the public went as 1% of the population battened off our misery.

All the time the message was that there was nothing we can do about it.

To a large extent, we may not have been able to do much about it.

Until now.

We’re a short time away (no one knows how long) from having the means to do something about it. The Reval, the prosperity packages, the historic bonds, and all the other mechanisms devised to get funds out to people who’ll use them to revive the planet and its people are making the difference.

However a lot of us may find that we’re still susceptible to the conditioning that’s resulted from a lifetime of being told, openly and subliminally, that our efforts don’t matter, don’t count, and won’t help.

Even now, once we have the wherewithal, we may still knuckle under to the opposition that will inevitably arise to our efforts.

I’ve watched myself recoil from people’s criticism and cynicism. Who am I to be thinking these thoughts and saying these things?Who do I think I am?

What kind of an egotistical fool am I to believe that a group of dedicated lightworkers can turn the world situation around? What planet am I from?

After I stop hacking and spluttering from that last one, I immediately get to work, processing whatever it is that’s at play that makes criticism like this, ridicule in some cases, like kryptonite to me.

Who do I think I am? What difference does it make?

What do I want? That makes much more of a difference.

I’m a sovereign citizen of Planet Earth, who wants to see an end to hunger and poverty, an end to disease, especially manmade diseases like AIDS, Ebola, SARS, etc., an end to homelessness, illiteracy, inequality, persecution, and the list goes on.

In the last analysis, it doesn’t matter who I am. I’m no one going nowhere.

But it does matter who I am in the matter. So I’m going to look for the next few days, through the eyes of Werner Erhard and the Hunger Project, at what prevents us from making a difference in our world. And what empowers us.

Where Consciousness Grows

Galactic Free Press's picture

God said:

There is so much in life and in books that you cannot grasp in the palm of your hand, and you may like to philosophize with Me about Life. Oft times you endeavor to change My mind, for you are sure you know more than I do, or you may even question if I know anything at all about how it is in the world for you, a human being.

You may hold strongly to the idea I know nothing and that I seem to perpetuate a kind of fraud on you. Or, if you do not think that way, you may have decided that a friend or someone you've read or heard speak, knows better than I do.

Of course, everything is open to interpretation, yet where does believing in Me have to do with popular opinion or votes and such temporal points of view? Everyone seeks to know himself.

You may feel a necessity to believe in what satisfies your ideas. You may rather believe in karma than responsibility for your own life. You may well believe in guilt over innocence and punishment in the hereafter over peace. You like to believe in what you believe. Something not in line with what you believe may seem like sacrilege or simply something too untenable or inconvenient for you to deal with. In any case, for reason or no reason, you may feel that you or someone in life who holds a strong opinion must know better than God. You may adhere to other views and find My ideas unpalatable.

The only way ideas can change is by themselves. You can't impose new ideas on yourself or depose other ideas from yourself. Breathe deeply now. You don't have to agree with Me. It's okay. It is not My intent to impose beliefs on you. My intent is to bring you closer to Me and, therefore, to live life reaching higher with less struggle, not more. I would love to free you to live your life as you see fit. What does theory really have to do with your living your life?

You may desire to keep your mind as it is, and that is your right and privilege. That your opinion differs or agrees belongs to you. You don't have to match your thinking to Mine. You tend to favor certain ways of thinking you like, and you like to stick to them. This is how it is. I offer My ideas to you. I do not bully you. You are not under obligation to think as I think and to see as I see. After all, I willed you to have Free Will.

On occasion, it seems that you would believe in anything rather than believe in Me and what I say. You may not believe in My existence at all! Everyone has his own picture and grasp of Me and is also free to discard how I see the world in deference to something else. I do not stand on ceremony. I do not look for a performance from you. I look, rather, for a Friendship, a meeting place deeper than belief and differences of opinion, a meeting place where We meet beyond thought and beyond one angle or another. Perhaps We can say beyond politics, as it were. We live together where consciousness grows. Perhaps We can call this a forgotten Garden of Eden where love of itself abounds without a glance as to diversity of thought.

What is Truth is Truth, and Truth is, and Truth is Higher than Thought. Opinions are like colors you love. You have your favorite colors. Whatever We aspire to, We live together in a world in which We wish to create joy and harmony and love rising to meet Oneness forevermore.

When there is Love, where do factions exist?

NorthPoint ASTROLOGY JOURNAL: Your Guide to Planetary Energies for February 15-21, 2016, by Pam Younghans

VENUS changes signs on Tuesday of the coming week, leaving the stable domain of Capricorn and entering the more unpredictable realms of Aquarius. In astrology, Venus has been given rulership over the human heart and its desire for pleasure and fulfillment. Translated to mundane terms, Venus is said to rule relationships, finances, and what we most value.

As Venus travels through Aquarius (until March 12), we’ll need to allow loved ones plenty of space, as everyone will be more aware of ways that they feel confined. We’ll also want to watch our expenditures, since Venus in Aquarius doesn’t like to be limited by the bottom line. It’s also true that Aquarius encourages us to always want something new and interesting — while Venus is in Aquarius, we may be open to different types of relationships than we usually are, and we may also find ourselves purchasing something unusual — something that in a month or two from now, we’ll look at and wonder what in the world we were thinking.

OUR FIRST TESTS of Venus in her new sign are semisquares with Saturn and Chiron. While not a major aspect, a semisquare indicates frustrations at not being able to have things go as easily as we would like. With the Venus-Saturn semisquare in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday (1:44am PST, 9:44am GMT), we may feel minor irritations either late Tuesday or early Wednesday.

Mercury also forms minor hard aspects on Wednesday, so our minds can easily veer off track and into the lands of worry or anxiety. Try breathing deeply before entering into any conversations, to calm the mind and help guide your words from a more centered place.

THE SUN enters Pisces on Thursday, beginning its journey through the 12th sign in preparation for the astrological New Year at the Aries Equinox (March 19).

As the Sun travels through the 12 signs of the zodiac, we follow a similar path in our lives. As the last sign, Pisces represents a time of completion. While the Sun is in Pisces, we are called inward to release our attachment to what has been, so that we might be open to what is to be.

SATURDAY brings a Sun-Pluto semisquare, another aspect of irritation. Small nuisances may tip us over the edge, but will also show us how we tend to base our well-being on outside circumstances. This is also the day of the Venus-Chiron semisquare, so we’ll want to watch how readily we fall into victim mode, and focus on healing the part of us that too easily sees rejection in another’s need for space.

Neptune and Ceres align in Pisces on the weekend, increasing our emotional and psychic sensitivity to the needs of others. As we focus on the concept of compassion that Pisces represents, we can more fully move past the challenges on Sunday — the Venus-Jupiter sesquisquare that may exaggerate our critical side, and the Sun-Uranus semisquare that quickly becomes irritated when reality doesn’t align with our ideal.

We also have help from the alignment between Mercury and the asteroid Pallas Athene on Sunday. This conjunction in Aquarius helps us think in positive ways, and opens our minds to the new ideas and wisdom that will take us successfully forward.

In peace,

Pam
