Mercury finishes his station in mid-Capricorn at the beginning of this week, and resumes his sprint forward in Saturn’s sign. While the planets remain steadfast in the same signs throughout the week, with the exception of the Moon, of great interest, two cliques among the planets, points, and objects form with opportunities inherent for those who align well with their energies. The earthy signs have quite a representation with Jupiter and North Node exactly conjunct in the Virgo sign, and additionally three planets in Capricorn (Mercury, Pluto, and later in the week, Venus) forming trines to Jupiter and Moon’s Node. Pluto’s “structured power” characteristic in Capricorn, well suited for career and work activity, acts with Mercury, the planet of commerce, and Venus, the planet of cooperation. Thus teamwork and collaborative efforts in work are of emphasis this week, and magnified by a smooth connection to Jupiter. North Node continues to act as a reminder to anticipate the future and tenaciously pursue goals, particularly in work and other earthy endeavors.

Poseidon (Transneptunian), currently at 12 Scorpio, is rather active this week, with an impressive number of planets forming connections to him. Juno (asteroid lady) is exactly conjunct Poseidon at the beginning of the week, and the two remain conjunct for the duration of the week. Sun in Aquarius forms a tense square to Poseidon in the middle of the week, with Moon conjuncting Poseidon briefly and just after Sun-Poseidon form a square. Venus also forms an aspect to Poseidon on February 2. Spirituality, wisdom, insight, intense messages, and depth of clarity emerge as influential concepts, and also enter the realm of close relationships. Poseidon in tension with the airy Sun encourages working towards a conscious universal understanding via the mind and flashes of insight. Certainly, friendships and a feeling of harmony among individuals is also in the mix as both Sun in Aquarius, and Venus, aspecting Poseidon, repeat a similar theme.

The trine between Mars in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces loosens this week, and at the same time, the Jupiter-Saturn square tightens. Sun and Jupiter, enervated by sign, feel a bit stressed this week. Sun forms aspects to both Mars and Saturn by the end of the week, and Jupiter must hold his own in tension with Saturn, repeating his link to Jupiter by virtue of residing in Sagittarius. Selacia's Article - Energy Update : Prepare for 2016 Monkey Year

- Tips for Chinese New Year Starting 2/8 at New Moon -

A new Chinese New Year is about to begin - with some key energies you will want to take advantage of and understand on a personal level. In this article I provide insights and some helpful preparations you can apply in your life. This indeed can be a significant year for you, full of new opportunities to be more of who you are destined to be. Knowing this, seize these moments and actively participate in creating your best self to date.

For most people, 2015 had quite challenging moments and 2016 so far has had its share of wild energies. The world is like a grand chaotic melting pot at the moment - thousands of years of evolution coming to an apex and complex sets of unresolved issues coming to the forefront.

Feeling the Apex Moment

The more conscious you are, the more you will feel this apex moment, simply because awareness makes you awake to what is.

Don't be afraid or make the chaos into something bad. It's not something to fight. Do, however, stay present and use your tools of awareness to stay centered and in balance. As you do this, you can take advantage of the good that's coming and you will have fewer challenges when things are rocky.

Fire Monkey Year

February 8 at the New Moon is the official start of the fire monkey year - the monkey being the 9th sign in the Chinese zodiac - with some significant differences from the previous goat year. Some trends - like the world's mega-restructuring and roller-coaster energies - will continue.

Differences between the two years will range from the subtle to the dramatic. You will want to pay attention to these, regardless of the year you were born and your Chinese animal in the zodiac that year.

There are different types of monkey years - each corresponding to an element. The last fire monkey year was in 1956 - so any of you born then are fire monkeys, and for you this year could be very significant.

One reason for this: fire monkeys are the most active of all types of monkeys and they tend to take a leadership role. The fiery energy they carry needs to be channeled into productive directions, though - it's very strong! One trait of fire monkeys is competitiveness and sometimes impulsiveness - and these energies, if not managed, can lead to problems.

This background is being mentioned here because whether or not you are a monkey or fire monkey in the Chinese zodiac, this is a year when you likely will be encountering these energies in the world.

Examples of challenging energies: if you have loved ones or colleagues carrying the fire monkey energy, you may notice some explosive tempers, impatience, bad timings, and power manipulation.

Positive attributes of fire monkeys may also be seen: creativity, cleverness, openness to risk taking, flexibility to go in new directions, socializing to hear the views of others, having imagination and intuition, being very energetic, curious, and able to see what others don't see.

Both the positive and challenging qualities of fire monkeys will be playing out this year on the world stage - between groups of people, between countries, and between humans and other species.

You will notice this in your family and circle of friends. It will play out at the workplace regardless of what type of work you do or whether you work independently or for someone else.

You will see it when you go out in public - like to shop in a market or to drive across town in traffic.

You have just experienced the goat year, with a more yin or feminine energy than monkey years. Monkeys have much more fire and are more prone to lash out if they don't get their way.

Relationship Mastery Vital

Keep this in mind as you encounter others this year. Mastery within relationships continues as a vital element in your success on all levels.

Do what you can to find the middle path of balance, and to be the one who takes the high road of spirit.

When you are in situations involving intensity and polarized views, check in regularly with your intuition and common sense about how to respond.

Be the one in your circle who avoids reaction. Go to your heart and connect with a sense of calm before you say or do things.

This calendar year of 2016, as described in my Predictions Message, is to be a time when people will focus on truth and justice. Those themes coming more to light in a monkey year are likely to dominate discussions on both individual and global levels.

Because monkey energy can lead to surprising developments, watch for sudden agreements and breakthroughs not possible before.
It may seem like a bolt out the blue, something no one expected happening - perhaps in a big and dramatic way.

Some of the changes to unfold will become historical markers for progress creating the kind of world you want to live in.

Watch for news involving global climate, energy resources, and peace. Look for new developments in technology. Years like this can bring previously futuristic inventions into the mainstream, with potentials for significant positive changes in how life is lived.

Historical Markers in Monkey Years

On the other hand, some big bolts out of the blue may not be welcome news. For historical reference, in the last fire monkey year of 1956 there was the Suez Crisis and related oil rationing. There were also revolutions in Hungary and Cuba that year.

On a personal level, here are some things to know.
For optimal success in this monkey year, you want to be grounded and in your heart so you can be open to new ideas and directions.

Individual Actions the Key

Individual actions are the key to your progress - appropriate actions you take with divine timing, common sense, and intuitive knowing.

This is not the year to give your power away to others, especially institutions and societal structures that are in the process of major overhaul.

This in short is the best year to date for applying your divine changemaker tools and conscious awareness. It is a year to apply all that you have learned and mastered over lifetimes.

You will want to reach deep into your spiritual toolbox to access and perfect skills you began developing long ago.

These skills will be needed in this monkey year.

Approaching Challenging Situations

You will see plenty of situations that challenge you. Your role, however, is to stay in your divine power and avoid taking on the negativity you see around you.

Do not get discouraged this year if you see societal changes that seem to take humanity back to another less enlightened time.

The dance of polar opposites is still quite active this year. Know, however, that it is part of the world's mega shift.

Keep the following in mind.

When the people of the Earth awaken to truth about something - the collective updating its view of what is appropriate or acceptable - people do not forget that truth.

People can, however, in a temporary way, be influenced through fear to adjust their thinking.

It can be shocking when this happens, but remember that it is not permanent.

Light and truth will prevail.

Remember your true power to create. It is vast and boundless!

INTENSIFYING COSMIC RAYS:

For the past 11 months, neutron monitors around the Arctic Circle have sensed an increasing intensity of cosmic rays. Polar latitudes are a good place to make such measurements, because Earth’s magnetic field funnels and concentrates cosmic radiation there. However, it turns out Earth’s poles aren’t the only place cosmic rays are intensifying. Spaceweather.com and the students of Earth to Sky Calculus have been launching helium balloons to the stratosphere to measure radiation, and they find the same trend over California

In the plot, ground-based neutron monitor measurements from the University of Oulu Cosmic Ray Station are traced in red; balloon-based gamma-ray/X-ray measurements over California are denoted in gray. The agreement between the two curves is remarkable. It means that the intensification of cosmic rays is making itself felt not only over the poles, but also over lower latitudes where Earth’s magnetic field provides a greater degree of protection against deep space radiation. January 29, 2016 by Andrew Eardley Mike Quinsey There is every reason to believe that shortly you will become aware of the beginning of a whole series of changes that will eventually be experienced over the whole world. Those changes that have been delayed for quite some time, are ready to be revealed and will appear in an orderly manner so that you are not overwhelmed. You have to bear in mind that the majority of people have little or no idea of what lies ahead. Initially people will feel unsettled but once they see that the changes are in their best interest, they will give their support. There will naturally be opposition from those who feel that they will be the losers, but carried out quickly and with full consideration to everyone involved, their fears will be released. Be assured that the timetable for your Ascension is set and that all events leading up to it can be adjusted to ensure that it is kept. You will be dealing with individuals who have incarnated from the higher realms, specifically to assist the Light in speedily bringing the New Age into being. Where you find disruption and disorder it is a sign of the old world being “taken apart” as it no longer has any place in the New Age. The old will be cleared away as soon as possible, as the new is already prepared to take its place. Looking back it may appear that the dark Ones prevented progress, but regardless of their actions it has always been achieved. One of the main features has been to spread information to as many people as possible, which has made it impossible for it to be prevented from coming out. In spite of efforts made to keep news of advancements out of the news, it has gradually been leaked by those brave enough to step forward. Regrettably, sometimes it has cost lives, but rest assured that the souls involved were prepared for the risks involved. All souls know in advance when they will put their life on the line, and be assured that they agree for the purpose of clearing old karma. For obvious reasons such souls do not normally carry the memory with them, as once they have incarnated it remains in the recess of their minds. As life progresses at this time many souls are still creating karma for themselves, and most will incur instant results as there is insufficient time to carry it forward. In the past you could do so by allowing it to be cleared at the most appropriate time, when it would be most beneficial to you. Understand that not all karma is, so to say, to put right the wrongs that you may have committed as it can also be viewed as a “reward” for acts of kindness or similar. Eventually you will learn the whole truth of your life when it is reviewed, and it can be a most revealing time. One thing for certain that may surprise you is that as a Being of Light you will have had many souls helping you through your life. They are chosen because they have the experience you are most likely to benefit from. You may also have what are sometimes called “doorkeepers” who stay close to you all of the time to stop unwanted interference or psychic attacks in your life. Every soul will at least have a Guide to ensure that their life plan is met, so you can see that life is not just a series of random events as some believe. Every major event is carefully planned to ensure it is of the maximum value to you. Most of you will have Angelic Beings with you who carry out the Will of God, and they are extremely powerful and totally dedicated to their cause. If you find yourself in a difficult position and perhaps your life is in danger, call upon Archangel Michael. There is so much help given but it is not put upon you if it would interfere with your free will. Although you have a life plan that you have agreed to prior to incarnating you may at any time change the course of your life. However, your Guides will do their best to ensure you follow it, as clearly your life plan is meant to cover your needs for certain experiences that will help your evolution. The Galactic Federation remains close to you even if they are unseen. Since you are entering a very important period you will need their protection, as the dark Ones would think nothing of destroying large parts of the planet to try and maintain their power. However, do not be fearful as there are no activities of theirs that can be hidden by them, as they are tracked wherever they try to hide. The only free will they have is limited and does not allow for major destruction of any kind. It is only the dark Ones that would entertain the idea and most likely as a “false flag” attack. Again do not be too concerned as we have the authority to step in if they attempt a major event. The extent of their abilities to cause trouble has been severely limited. They have already been severely impeded in their plan to escape and leave the Earth, and now cannot do so and the Avians are positioned all around it. One of the last events to take place will be when the Galactic Federation can openly visit Earth. Then there will be great celebrations as permanent peace will have been achieved and all lifeforms will be able to enjoy life without interference. Progress will then go speeding ahead and the dark periods in your history will soon be forgotten. The long awaited Golden Age will truly have commenced and life will become a great source of enjoyment and satisfaction. Your life span will also increase with the upliftment in vibrations and a point reached where you will reverse the aging process. You will live your lives as a young mature person and remain as such until you decide that you need another challenge to further your evolution. You will agree that all of the troubles and heartache you may have experienced will seem so distant that they no longer have a place in your life. With your understanding of the changes that are in hand, you will be able to help others who will become confused and sometimes scared of what the future holds. Break the news gently without giving out too much at a time. People will need time to grasp what is happening and be assured that in the end it will be to their advantage. It will be evident once the changes commence and they see what improvements are taking place. Once the positive news spreads it will help lift the vibrations even quicker. You may have found that last year time seemed to be speeding up, but this year it will be seem even quicker. It is a sure sign that all is proceeding well and lifting you up into the higher vibrations. Mother Earth is beginning to make changes upon the planet and in many countries you have been experiencing weather extremes. Do not worry as it is not the end of the world but the emergence of the New Earth. In this article I provide insights and some helpful preparations you can apply in your life. This indeed can be a significant year for you, full of new opportunities to be more of who you are destined to be. Knowing this, seize these moments and actively participate in creating your best self to date. For most people, 2015 had quite challenging moments and 2016 so far has had its share of wild energies. The world is like a grand chaotic melting pot at the moment - thousands of years of evolution coming to an apex and complex sets of unresolved issues coming to the forefront. Feeling the Apex Moment The more conscious you are, the more you will feel this apex moment, simply because awareness makes you awake to what is. Don't be afraid or make the chaos into something bad.
