As darkness is drawn aside and a sacred pathway revealed this lunar month, today’s energy is about clues. So before I give my take on the degrees of the planets, here are the primary Sabian symbols archetypally present today. What do they speak to you?

VENUS: “a man teaching the true inner knowledge of the new world to his students”

There are two themes weaving through the energies today:

INFORMATION – Without question, the situations, circumstances, and conditions of our day will yield very valuable information regarding the course of our lives. This may involve integrating information that we already had, but is taking some time to fully settle in to our reality.

It is wise to take the position that we do not know it all — that we may have missed or overlooked something or that it was not yet the time to know it for whatever reason (usually pertaining to our personal growth and ability to see the truth). This holds for interpersonal and professional situations. Leave yourself some room or time to go back and check.

These symbols remind me of the adage “the more we learn, the more we realize how much we do not know.” This is humbling energy, best kept in mind as such when going into situations or meetings or gatherings.

ACTION OR FROZEN – The information and insights that we gain today serve to help us take action or stop and reconsider (freeze). The universe is in constant motion (dance) and does not foster stopping or surrendering for too long. But when something is frozen or a freeze-frame is taken, detail can be seen and studied. Nuances can be gleaned. Innate beauty can be appreciated. Knowledge can be added.

In the symbol of the soldier resisting orders, we do not know the circumstances of the soldier. The soldier is you. Where are you? Where is your mindscape? If you feel like you are in “combat” (with yourself or others or life), trauma responses are fight, flight, or freeze. Any and all of these will do. One response is not better than the other. But, with the freeze response, at some point, action must be taken. To not take action is to resist the nature of the universe, the nature of life.

It is needed, because man is not alone, man lives with so many people. When you live with so many people a few rules and regulations are needed, but those rules and regulations are just like rules of traffic - "Don't walk in the middle of the road" - they have no ultimate truth about them. Not that if you walk in the middle of the road you have committed a sin and you will be thrown into hell; but walking in the middle of the road, you create an unnecessary nuisance in the traffic. You may be hit. Keep to the left: but that too is not in any way moral; there are countries where you have to keep to the right. Both are good. Either keep to the right or keep to the left so that the traffic moves smoothly. The whole thing is arbitrary. It has a utility in it, but no ultimacy about it. -Rajneesh
