Beloved Ones,

I wish to have discourse on the quality of Love known as activity. This quality is most important in the accomplishment of any tasks that a person sets before them. Without this quality, nothing in the material World would ever be accomplished.

With activity as the impetus to a goal or dream, manifestation occurs and much is created that makes for a better quality of life here on your Earth. By utilizing this quality of Love, you use the marvelous instrument that is your physical body to create what you desire.

Whenever you have a goal, this quality must come to the fore in order for your goal to be accomplished. This World is rich with many wonders of technology and more will come into being in the near future.

Many people are receiving inspiring ideas and templates from the higher realms and it is only by acting on these as they come forth can they be brought into the World for the greater use and benefit of all of Humanity.

When One is inspired from on high with a great idea, whether it is technological, in the arts or sciences, or any other area of life, it is by using this quality of Love that it becomes commonplace in your World and available to all.

In all things, activity is the shaper of things to come and brings with it many benefits. In the keeping of One’s physical well being, it is activity that will hone the body into perfect functioning.

This quality must be employed to keep One’s good health, vitality, agility and strong energy field, in which there are no impediments or blockages to prevent the movements of energy from flowing naturally through your meridians.

The activity of moving your physical body parts helps facilitate vibrant health and zest for life. Without this quality of Love in your daily living, your bodies would become stagnant and atrophied.

To accomplish any task this quality must be used. It is a wondrous gift to be able to move, bend, walk, paint, write, or speak. It requires diligence, perseverance and dedication using this quality of Love to create anything that is to be of value to One’s Self and everyone around them.

It is the way to move forward, renew and replenish One’s Self when a change is required in order to create something new.

Nothing in this World ever gets done without this quality so it is an indispensable aspect of Love. Activity is a creation force and a marvelous way to give to the World your personal contribution in the gifts that you are bringing into being.

Even when a body is at rest, there is still great activity taking place within the mind. Mental activity is another powerful aspect of creation that allows creativity to flow unhindered within a person. It connects One to their Source and miracles can come into manifestation when this quality of Love is employed.

Mental activity is the springboard of all other activities and lights the fire of physical activity. Doing begets creating and the quality of Love called activity brings these into perfect balance and harmony. Out of these come all things good. It is with this quality of Love that I leave you now. Be in peace.

I AM Archangel Gabriel

As the heat of climate change makes itself felt in the Arctic...
Giving Polar Bears a Chance to Survive

NOTE: This is a guest blog post from Naomi Rose, Ph.D., the senior scientist for Humane Society International. She is a marine mammal biologist, who has been advocating for increased protection for polar bears for more than 18 years.

Polar bears are the mighty kings of the Arctic. They are nature’s top land predator and have nothing to fear. Except for the melting ice beneath their massive paws – and a hunter’s bullet.

Graphic images in the media of the great white bear precariously perched on the last chunk of a melting iceberg, of drowned bears, of cannibalized carcasses of bear cubs (eaten by hungry males) – all of these punch home the message that the Arctic is already feeling the heat of climate change.

Polar bears depend primarily on ringed seals as prey and cannot find or capture them without a solid platform of sea ice beneath their feet. As the ice recedes farther, forms later, and melts sooner each year – predicted to disappear altogether in summer within the next few years – polar bears, particularly in the more southern populations, are facing starvation. These bears are having fewer cubs and the cubs that are born are suffering much higher mortality. It is only a matter of time before other populations start showing these impacts as well.

The irony is, even as climate change threatens the very survival of the species – leading to a U.S. government decision to list the polar bear as threatened under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) in 2008 – hunters continue to kill bears, not only for subsistence in the US, Greenland, and Canada, but also for sport and commercial trade in Canada.

In this and in the next post two more positive notes are presented

U.N. Reaches Safe Drinking Water Goal Ahead Of Time

Over two billion people gained access to safe drinking water between 1990 and 2010 according to a report released today by UNICEF and the World Health Organization (WHO). That means world governments have hit the target set out by Millennium Development Goal #7, to halve the proportion of people without access to safe drinking water, five years ahead of the 2015 deadline for the MDGs.

“This is one of the first MDG targets to be met. The successful efforts to provide greater access to drinking water are a testament to all who see the MDGs not as a dream, but as a vital tool for improving the lives of millions of the poorest people.” said UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

At the end of 2010, 89% of the world’s population, or 6.1 billion people, were able to access safe water sources, according to the report Progress on Drinking Water and Sanitation. That’s 1% more than the 88% goal set by world leaders at the UN’s Millennium Summit in 2000.

WHO Director-General Margaret Chan said that “providing sustainable access to improved drinking water sources is one of the most important things we can do to reduce disease.”

“But this achievement today is only the beginning,” she said. “We must continue to ensure this access remains safe. Otherwise our gains will be in vain.”

UNICEF Executive Director Anthony Lake said “for children this is especially good news. Every day more than 3,000 children die from diarrheal diseases,” he said in a statement. “Achieving this goal will go a long way to saving children’s lives.”

As the Associated Press noted:

The report highlights the disparities between regions and countries, and within countries.

Only 61 percent of people in sub-Saharan Africa have access to safe drinking water sources compared with 90 percent or more in Latin America and the Caribbean, northern Africa, and large parts of Asia, the report said.

UNICEF and WHO called for greater attention to water and sanitation needs in rural areas across the globe where millions of poor people still have no access.

The report said the world is still far from meeting the U.N. goal of reducing by half the proportion of people without access to basic sanitation.

Only 63 percent of the world now has basic sanitation and the figure will increase to just 67 percent by 2015, well below the 75 percent required to reach the target, the report said.

“The numbers are still staggering,” Lake said, “But the progress announced today is proof that MDG targets can be met with the will, the effort and the funds,” he added.

Nicaragua Forms Battalion of Eco-Soldiers to Combat Climate Change

Written by Stephen Messenger

While much of the developed world continues to debate the most effective ways of tackling global carbon emissions in closed-door summits and international forums, some countries hardest hit from changing climate patterns are beginning to take a more direct approach. In light of what it considers a national security risk posed by climate change, the government of Nicaragua has formed the Ecological Battalion, a first-of-its-kind team of soldiers dedicated to combating against environmental threats.

Over the last three decades, forest cover in the once-lush Central American nation has fallen by nearly 25 percent, mostly due to illegal lumber operations which had stripped the regions nature reserves of trees virtually without resistance. But now, thanks to the newly designated eco-battalion made up of 580 soldiers, the forests’ most pressing threats may find their days are numbered.

For Nicaraguan leaders, the ongoing disappearance of their forests has already lead to a rise in temperatures and reduced the amount of rainfall. The latter issue is of heightened concern from the nation’s leadership, particularly as government officials look to hydroelectric to meet their energy demands.

“The Nicaraguan government is trying to change the matrix of its energy supply, and to do so we need to preserve and conserve our nature reserves and forests so we can have the water we need to run what will be Central America’s largest hydroelectric plant, Tumarin,” says Col Juan Ramon Morales, commander of the Ecological Battalion. “But if we don’t have forests, we won’t produce the rain we need to make this project sustainable. We can’t have a hydroelectric plant in the desert.”

According to the BBC, Nicaragua’s Environmental Battalion is the first of its kind to battle climate change in Central America — and they seem to be taking the job very seriously. While the soldiers, clad in camouflage, do carry firearms as they patrol the imperiled forests, they also carry shovels to plant trees in areas already cleared.

“Our color is green by nature,” says army chief Col Nestor Lopez. “Now we have to make it that by conscience, too.”

10_1_136.gifHi Luis Miguel,
These are some very good articles as well as informative as usual. I have never been able to understand how killing animals can be described as a sport. They have every right to occupy our world as we do.
In fact, if we did not build roads, villages, and cities in there area we would have no threat from them what-so-ever. There are times when I have to laugh at the reasoning of the human species. If we build a village right in the middle of the Buffalo migration route, we are outraged when the herd of Buffalo goes right through our village on it's way to the watering hole, (which we have recently dammed up and re-directed.) Animals have never been blamed for poisoning water ways, however humans dump caustic materials into our rivers and streams on a daily basis, and chemical plants across the globe have built their plants on or near rivers for years as a convenient way to simply dump their toxic materials into the waterways that usually make their way to resevoirs where the water is piped into people's homes for drinking. Therefore, the reason that we have so many people in the world that cannot get clean, healthy water to drink has nothing to do with nature and everything to do with humans. The sad truth about this global crisis is that a lot of it could have been prevented years ago. However, people running for high offices in all countries have been paid off handsomely, both by monetary payments and material payments like fancy cars or Condominiums at Ritzy resorts to just merely look the other way. The next time that you watch a political debate on T.V. or a meeting to discuss rules and regulations take notice to the water that they are drinking. It is not tap water from a faucet but rather Bottled Water. Each person in the room has a bottle of water in front of him or her, because they know that the water that is piped in is not safe to drink.
I often wonder, when I am watching a Documentary where the cameraman pans the area of children in tears or curled up in a ball because they don't have enough food or clean water to stay alive, if these missionaries brought water or food with them to help the people. They make plas to the general public to please help these people all you can, however, have they taken the first step by bringing clean water to them themselves?, or are they more interested in filming the tragedy? All too often, about three cents out of every American dollar goes toward the cause itself, the other ninety-seven cents goes towards paying the camera-men, paying the narrator, paying for a comfortable place to stay while they are on location. In otherwords, most of the money that you donate towards helping a child lives goes towards pampering the crew. The only way to know first-hand what a tragedy feels like, you have to live that tragedy yourself. While filming on location in the hot sun, you cannot take a break and grab a bottle of water out of your cooler, or break for the day and go back to your air conditioned room, take a hot bath and than go down to the dining room for a three course meal. You have to stay on location, drink and eat what the those in the village are eating and drinking, and sleep in whatever quarters they have available for you. It it is a rocky piece of ground under a tree, so be it. I am so sick of Greedy, selfish, people that pretend to care.
GOD BLESS YOU
~Mike~
