Heavenletter #5234 via Gloria Wendroff: What Else Matters When There Is Love

Heavenletters - Version 2God said:

There are many ways to believe. Whatever you believe, you may be sure there is someone who believes the opposite extreme. Life in the world is about opposites of all kinds.

Beliefs are one of them. And some people get fired up about beliefs. Some people with strong beliefs will hurt other people because the others’ beliefs contradict their beliefs.

People on Earth have separated people because of their color or because of the shape of their nose. Staunch believers are convinced that they are right, and everyone else is mistaken.

They may change their minds later, but at any moment, they are firm in their beliefs. I understand everything, yet it is hard for Me to understand why anyone hurts another, that matters get so firmly entrenched in their minds that they hurt other human beings in the name of what they like to call truth.

Here’s what I wonder: I wonder what does it matter what another believes or you believe when there is love? Love is beyond believing in or adhering to.

You must know by now that in life you do not want to be dependent upon what this one or that one thinks. That makes you live a life that may not really be yours. You sacrifice your own heart and mind because of another’s praise or criticism. It doesn’t matter if someone else in the world is considered an authority. Why would you make anyone lord and master over you? Will you agree that it’s not always a good thing to dance to another’s tune?

By the same token, what would make it advisable for someone to dance to your tune? Do you really want to intervene in another’s life? Perhaps you do.

There were times in the world when those who did not agree with one faction or another got their heads chopped off or were burned at the stake. Does this kind of pressure make sense to you, whichever side of the fence you are on?

First of all, no one can change another’s mind. Not even the owner of his mind can change his beliefs by virtue of a decision to. No one’s mind can be made to change, not by force certainly. Lip service can be given. To save his life, someone might give away his truth for the sake of life itself, and, by forced choice, live a lie or not live. Not much of a choice.

What makes it so important that someone has to agree with you? Where did you get the idea that anyone has to? Someone believes one way. You believe another. What’s wrong with that?

I say again: This you believe, and another believes something else. What does it matter what another believes or you believe when there is love? Love is beyond matters of a silly world. You understand this, don’t you? Love supersedes everything.

You do not fly under false colors in order to appreciate someone deeply. What is there really that is so important for two of you to agree on? Simply appreciate what you appreciate with all your heart. Beliefs do not fly in the face of love. Beliefs are no more than beliefs. Everyone has beliefs. You believe what you believe, and whatever you believe, pro or con, holds growth for you. No one has to believe as another does. Everyone is in the right place right now. Five minutes from now they may be in another place. This is how the bird flies.

Why would you think you have to agree with someone? Why would you think someone has to agree with you?

You may want someone to agree with you so much, you might have your desire lead to an out and out argument or a duel.

Beloveds, will you duel with Me because I say that everyone is entitled to his own opinion?

Relative and Non-Relative Consciousness

Credit: Pinterest.com

Beyond our surface consciousness exists an infinite reality of love, bliss and pure awareness, but if we want to find it, we have to be willing to transcend the constant mental chatter that vies for our attention.

Throughout all of the distraction that comes with living on earth, most of us fail to tap into the innate essence that we require to elevate our consciousness or live up to our spiritual potential, but just because we haven’t tapped into it yet doesn’t mean that all hope is lost.

We have more potential to access and explore our greater perception than we realize, but we have to be willing to get past the inner obstacles that stand in our way and the cloudy thought forms that keep us from connecting with spirit and enjoying the bliss that results.

I think we should routinely clear our minds if we want to connect with our omnipotent inner consciousness, and clearing the mind gets easier with meditation and dedication. Everything gets easier with dedicated practice, and this includes the transcendence of our surface consciousness and the exploration of the much deeper, realer existence we can now tap into.

Franklin Merrell-Wolff tells us about relative (dualistic) consciousness and non-relative (transcendent) consciousness.

“The relative forms of consciousness inevitably distort non-relative Consciousness. Not only can I not tell this to others, I cannot even contain it within my own relative consciousness, whether of sensation, feeling, or thought. Every metaphysical thinker will see this impossibility at once.

“I was even prepared not to have the personal consciousness share in this Recognition in any way. But in this I was happily disappointed.” (1)

Franklin Merrell-Wolff. Credit: Rug.ni

Once we become aware, we can still employ our surface consciousness (and the knowledge that comes with it) by using it to awaken others.

“If the thought-current remains active it can reflect, in some measure, the inner Reality, and thus the personal man has a share in the Awakening. In addition, this correlation is necessary if any of the value of the Illumination is to be conveyed to the intelligence of other individuals.” (2)

While we can use our relative consciousness to spread knowledge once we become aware, we can’t fathom the depth of non-relative consciousness until we transcend the senses and explore our deeper awareness.

“Recognition of the SELF in its purity is Realization of Identity with absolute Emptiness, Darkness, and Silence, when viewed from the standpoint of relative consciousness. In point of fact this Emptiness is Absolute Fullness but, as such, never can be comprehended from the perspective of egoistic consciousness. …” (3)

This is why I always recommend meditation, and it helps us transcend our surface perception and explore ourselves in a deeper way. A much greater, more refined spiritual reality waits for us to explore it, but we have to willingly transcend the mind-centered obstacles that hold us back if we want to know it in a real or pure way.

Our surface consciousness is helpful when it comes to conveying spiritual knowledge, but in order to gain that knowledge, we have to open up, transcend the disconnected mind’s limited awareness and use things like meditation and creativity to make spirit a consistent part of our life.

We’ll be ‘rewarded’ for our dedication in the form of a sustained connection with All That Is, but we have to show that dedication before we can experience any rewards. It might be a long and hard path, but it’s only impossible if we convince ourselves it is.

Photo’s source unknown

Non-relative consciousness is within our grasp, especially right now, but we have to make some kind of effort before we can find it. Even when we initially find it, we might have trouble sustaining the experience and this makes dedication even more important.

Understanding the difference between relative and non-relative consciousness is important for anyone who wants to raise their vibration, and while the veil’s pretty thin right now and there are plenty of ways we can get the most out of the intensified energies, dedication is still important.

As long as we’re dedicated, I think we’ll attain non-relative consciousness with ease. Even if it doesn’t end up easy at first, it’ll get easier with every dedicated effort we make and everything we do to uplift others with the knowledge we gain.

In order to gain this knowledge in the first place, we’ll have to transcend the overbearing influence of the instrument that helps us express what we know (i.e. the mind), and open ourselves to spirit and the perceptual wonders it offers.

As long as we’re willing and we can persevere when things don’t go our way, there’s no reason we can’t attain this incredible feat.

Beyond Non-Relative Consciousness

Non-relative consciousness is on the left side. Credit: 21stcentec.com

By Wes Annac, The Culture of Awareness

I’d like to pick up from our discussion yesterday and examine more material from Franklin Merrell-Wolff about relative and non-relative consciousness.

As we learned yesterday, relative consciousness is our surface awareness and non-relative consciousness is our deeper spiritual awareness, which we can find in a number of ways.

No matter how we transcend the physical senses and explore our non-relative awareness, we’ll want to stay consistent with our practice if we want to make any progress. Some spiritual teachers discourage ambition or consistency, but I think both qualities are helpful on the spiritual path.

They’re discouraged when it comes to our external reality, because they tend to reinforce the already cloudy barrier between us and a higher state of consciousness. If we use them for our spiritual exploration, however, I think they could help us permanently raise our vibration.

We have to be committed to our spiritual exploration if we want to do or perceive anything significant, and here, we’ll learn more from Wolff about non-relative consciousness and, interestingly enough, the state that exists even beyond it.

First, we’re told that the physical universe is a projection of the greater spiritual reality we have yet to fully unveil.

“Relative consciousness deals with phenomena alone and can never reach beyond phenomena. But the phenomenal world rests upon the Real or Noumenal World. Thus it is that the Consciousness of the SELF or ‘pure apperceptive consciousness’ sustains the whole universe or cosmos. But the latter is an outward projection.” (1)

Credit: Universityofspirituality.com

Relative (surface) consciousness, we’re told, exists within the measureable cosmos, which is sustained by non-relative consciousness.

“Behind the cosmos is the formless or Transcendental World. Within the cosmos is the domain of relative consciousness.

“From the latter standpoint the SELF appears as formless. Hence the approach – for from the relative point of view it seems like an approach – to the SELF from consciousness posited within the cosmos takes on the form of progressive negation of all identity with form until finally Identity in the Formless breaks forth as Recognition.” (2)

There’s a state that exists beyond Formlessness, but for now, our relative consciousness identifies with our non-relative consciousness as Formless. There’s a greater reality even beyond Formlessness, but Formlessness might be all we can strive to attain until we understand that there are deeper layers and dimensions beyond our current goal.

“At this stage Recognition may well take the form of ‘I am Formlessness.’ But this is really an incomplete Recognition, as Shankara has shown by his acute logic. The final Recognition is ‘I am not form and I am not formless.’

“This standpoint is neutral with respect to the cosmos and the truly Transcendental or Formless. What this really means is that beyond Nirvana there is a Paranirvana which is a state of metaphysical indifference with respect to the states of manifestation or non-manifestation.” (3)

I’d imagine a lot of ‘time’ (energy) is spent in the advanced state of Formlessness before we realize that true transcendence comes when we don’t perceive ourselves as formed or Formless. While it can get confusing, it makes sense if you slowly examine the philosophy without trying too hard to comprehend it.

Formlessness is the next stage in our spiritual evolution (it might be the fifth dimension; I don’t know), but there’s a state of existence beyond even it, which we’ll grow into once we realize it exists and pursue it.

We might only want to aim for Formlessness or material transcendence from our current limited perspective, and once we reach it, we’ll realize that there are even more dimensions to strive for.

There’s probably even a level beyond the level that’s beyond Formlessness (does your head hurt?), and if there is, we’ll find out when the time comes.

I’m sure we’ll be excited to explore every non-dual state of consciousness that waits for us, but for now, maybe we can focus on Formlessness before we focus on what comes next.

The idea that there’s a state beyond Formlessness, Wolff tells us, presents somewhat of a problem in the study of mysticism and enlightenment.

“This study constitutes a real clarification of the problem of the relationship between ordinary consciousness and the kind of consciousness commonly called mystical.” (4)

Some spiritual teachers might disagree, but I think the physical (form) and spiritual (Formless) are merging. I don’t know when Franklin Merrell-Wolff was in his prime, but I do know that the veil is thinning at an incredible rate and we can touch upon the outer layers of Formlessness with relative ease.

We’ll have to be dedicated if we want to get the most out of the thinning veil, but I think the dimensions are compressing in on each other (the third, fourth and fifth, at least) and we can use things like meditation and creativity to drastically elevate our consciousness.

During some of Wolff’s higher-vibrational experiences, he tells us that his ego-driven self was present as an observer in a vast ocean of all-encompassing spirituality.

“Throughout this whole experience [which he called the ‘High Satisfaction’] and the following more profound state [the ‘High Indifference’], the egoistic or subject-object consciousness was actively present. It was present, however, as a witness on the sidelines, while all about and through and through there was an immeasurably vaster Consciousness.” (5)

So it seems that our relative consciousness is still capable of existing in the blissful higher-dimensionality we’re headed for, but its influence will be severely diminished and we’ll be too busy enjoying the expansive higher-vibrational landscape to pay much attention to it.

Credit: Tumblr.com

We’ll apparently know it’s there, however (Wolff did, at least), and I wonder what kind of role it’d play in our attainment of non-relative consciousness. The relative will still exist along with the much greater non-relative, but it won’t have anywhere near the influence it currently does.

I notice that when I write, meditate or play music, what I know as the ‘ego’ isn’t as present as usual.

Like Wolff realized during his exploration of a much higher state of consciousness than I’ve reached, the ego self is still there but it’s quiet, like a child who was throwing a tantrum but has since calmed down and fell asleep.

It’s still there and it might offer little things that help, but for the most part, it’s a pacified aspect of our being that doesn’t really make itself known. I’m surprised to learn that the ego self exists at all in non-relative consciousness, and it gives credence to the term ‘you learn something new every day’.

I was especially interested to learn that there’s another level beyond Formlessness, which I already knew but never really thought about, and it goes to show that there’s more to strive for beyond ascension.

We’ll travel deeper and deeper within from here on out, and as we do, we’ll discover purer states of consciousness that transcend the previous. It’ll be a wild evolutionary ride, and while it might be difficult at times, I’d imagine we’ll be enthusiastic enough to embrace it nonetheless.

Golden Gaia News Roundup: March 26, 2015

news roundupJupiter’s Role in our Planetary Protection

As fascinating as the planets in our own little solar system are, at one point it may have been very different. In this article it explains that Jupiter was not always in our solar system, it was attracted to our sun because of its mass. In Jupiter’s attraction, it has been surmised that its orbit may have taken out a few Earth-like planets that once existed here in the distant past.

Study: Jupiter’s journey destroyed ‘super-Earths,’ laid groundwork for Earth By Jethro Mullen, CNN

However, in this destruction, it was the cataclysm for the creation of our Earth, Mars, Mercury, and Venus. Without Jupiter’s assertion into our system, we may not be here on this Earth at this time.

I have also watched a video that explains the protection that Jupiter has offered our planet from outside asteroids. It also seems to be a protector of the smaller planets that exist closer to the sun. With Jupiter being so large, it acts as a protective barrier between the inner planets and outside debris or space “stuff”.

World’s Happiest Countries

Having personally visited 5 out of the 10 ‘Happiest Countries in the world”, I would have to agree whole-heartedly with these choices. When I was in Amsterdam, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Stockholm, and various cities in Canada (I live very close to the border), one of the most predominant similarities was the demeanor of the locals.

They were very friendly, helpful, and had a joy in their heart for their place in the world. When I was on a bus tour in Stockholm, the tour guide had me convinced I would one day relocate to Sweden. The quality of life there sounds so tempting. They do have higher taxes, but college is 100% paid for, medical care is 100% paid for, and they have higher life expectancies. Another thing I found to be incredible was that when a child is born, both parents are paid (partial salary, but still paid) to stay home with their baby for an entire year. Also, if they were experiencing a situation where their child had a terminal illness, they are able to stay home until the child passes and still collect a paycheck.

Get happy in the world’s happiest countries By Katia Hetter, CNN

Out of the 10 happiest countries, the United States was not even listed. I’m not sure how far down we are, but it’s apparent that we could be doing better if we looked to these countries as a standard for quality of life.

This study used to determine which countries made the list found that the countries where people were afforded free will in their personal decision making and had less corrupt governments tended to be happier. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to live in a place where there was abundant support in the “pursuit of happiness?” Most of us deal with minimal wages, very little time off, and miss out on raising our own children to survive or “get ahead” in life.

I feel that the countries that tend to be happier put a higher value families being able to spend time together and create stronger bonds. It seems almost an American custom to create a child who is independent, then we wonder why they abandon us when we are old. It’s all a balancing act; one that we could be doing a better job accomplishing.

The Large Hadron Collider and it’s Theory on Parallel Universes

LHC’s start-up delayed for a few weeks by short circuit mishap at CERN headquarters By Charles Omedo for Dispatch Times

The pursuit of explaining the Universe has been a dream of many for eons. The LHC (large hadron collider) went live in September of 2008 and has been involved in a number of experiments to help scientists explain theories of particle physics and high energy physics.

The intended purpose and use of this highly expensive and globally collaborative endeavor is to help answer questions such as, what the nature of dark matter is that accounts for about 27% of mass energy of the universe to the explanation and detection of extra dimensions.

I’m sure I’m not alone in the light worker side of being able to sense these other dimensions and understanding them on a level that relates to the energy of what we are as beings, but having science come to a point where they are able to prove the existence of other dimensions is amazing. There is much we seek to know about the Universe and science will only take us so far. Research has been able to take us leaps and bounds closer to understanding a fraction of what there is to know intellectually. There is so much more to know and to gain by allowing the Universe to tell you what you want to know.

CERN and the LHC has been a center of controversy from many people over the years. There are many people who seem to have a fear of the black holes they may be creating and the risk factors involved with carrying out these experiments. It is incredibly hard to know the true outcomes of the theories that are being tested. However, they are observing if there theory testing is creating mini black holes, but they suggest that the mini black holes are incredibly unstable and evaporate in seconds so there is no cause for alarm. The assure the public that these tinier-than-a-millimeter black holes will not form together and grow larger in any event.

Large Hadron Collider could show parallel universes exist, say researchers By Andrea Bellemare, CBC News

What do you think? Are we here on this planet at this time because of Jupiter? Maybe it was something else. Will we ever be able to find the answers? Are we seeking answers and truth in the wrong places? In the pursuit of our own happiness and understanding of our world and the Universe in which we live, there will always be another question when one gets answered. There will always be seeking. The seeking tells us that we are alive.

We are far greater beings than we have been told, far greater beings than most of us realize.

In Light and Love,

Lindsey

A Heart-Opening Discipline

LoveAweAt 4 a.m. in the morning a few days back, in what is for me a time of heightened emotions, I felt myself so overwhelmed by situations I faced that I simply surrendered to Archangel Michael and told him I couldn’t handle matters without his help.

There was a period of silence. And then these thoughts impressed themselves on my mind.

(1) Love, love, love is the answer to every problem. That’s the starting point and the only order of the day. Without this, nothing else matters.

(2) Pull out of yourself all the arrows of resentment you put in yourself since attaching to the impediment to love. By doing so, reverse the impact of the automatic resentment machine.

(3) Detach yourself from anything that appears to be an impediment to love. Use your magic garden shears or Archangel Michael’s sword of truth to cut the ties of attachment between you and the thing blocking your path to love. Cut all attachments indiscriminately. Those that are temporary and ensnaring will fall away. Those that are permanent and loving will persist, no matter what.

(4) Forgive yourself for attaching.

(5) For the world outside, let it be without judging it or trying to fix it. (1)

(6) Don’t erect any further impediments to love. When you find yourself doing it, stop and let go.

(7) Express gratitude for everything you’re able to be, do, and have.

(8) Go back to (1) and start again.

Don’t allow yourself to fall asleep on this process. Repeat it many times a day until it becomes a reflex action.

Point 5 is the matter that may prove most troublesome. Here’s an example of it from my own experience today.

Ikea delivered a bed to my apartment (I’m finally up off the floor). And in so doing the deliverymen seriously damaged my apartment door.

As it happened, the landlady came up to replace a blind and asked me what happened to the door. I told her Ikea banged it up and she said I’d have to pay for it.

Years ago I’d have resisted the implication that the banged-up door is my responsibility. If I couldn’t avoid responsibility, I might try to find excuses to establish my innocence and avoid paying as a responsible, but ultimately innocent, party.

I didn’t do either. I acknowledged my responsibility for the door. Period.

Someone has to pay for the door and that someone falls in a line of responsibility, starting with me and going to Ikea. (Ikea, by the way, opened a claim on the door without protest.)

I’m neither resisting matters by denying responsibility nor making excuses above and beyond stating the simple truth of the matter. I’m also neither judging the participants nor trying to fix blame or anyone’s neuroses, including mine.

That shows up for me as allowing the world outside to be – to be what it is and how it is, not as I think it should be. This course of action reduces my attachment to the world significantly.

This is my new, opening discipline. For others it might prove to be a heart-opening discipline. I don’t know. I hope it does.

It’s time for me to cut a new groove and think with the heart. Love, love, love is the answer to every problem.

Footnotes

(1) Some things do need fixing, but “fixing” here refers to a neurotic need to feel important by having contributed to the situation through fixing something or someone, instead of, for instance, listening to them.
