Jesus via John Smallman: All Are Now Enveloped and Overlighted in Every Moment by the Tsunami of Love.

Jesus posting

Steve: Good gosh, I hope everyone reads this. Let me make it sticky for a bit.

I have never read a clearer and more complete statement of the case for love. Not to be missed. Thank you, Jesus.

John’s Audio Recording here

No one is unworthy of God’s Love, and therefore no one is unworthy of yours!

The only reason that you would withhold love from anyone is because you believe yourself to be unlovable, and to withhold love from someone is to withhold it from yourself.

However, to acknowledge and be aware of that extremely painful belief about yourself is often too horrific to countenance, and so you project it outwards on to someone you can judge as unworthy of being loved.

Judgment is an aspect of the illusion to which many are enthusiastically attached. Because of the underlying sense of unworthiness that so many feel and deny, it can be very satisfying to see another’s behavior as wrong, sinful, criminal, deceitful, untrustworthy – in fact being in any way different in their behavior from your personally perceived and accepted sense of what is “normal” – judging them according to some arbitrary rules of your own making, and then righteously condemning them and enthusiastically sentencing them to what you have convinced yourselves is their well deserved punishment.

It is all too easy to find a target on to whom you can project this unbearable self-hatred – and it surely is self-hatred – because so many of you feel this way about yourselves and are constantly looking for some unworthy one doing wrong on whom you can impose a self-righteous and, of course, utterly justifiable negative judgment.

Doing this helps you to feel better about yourselves because as you compare yourselves to these unacceptable others you can tell yourselves: “I am not nearly as bad as that,” or even “I am really very good.”

And in your collective fear there are very few among you who have not committed some actions that are generally perceived as crimes instead of being recognized as the desperate calls for love that they really are. The way out of this bind or seemingly infinite playback loop is to acknowledge, look at, and release all self-judgment of yourselves as unworthy. In God’s sight no one is ever unworthy!

If you find yourselves judging others or yourselves, even if only privately, secretly in your minds, it indicates that you are in denial of your own sense of unworthiness, of unlovableness.

However, once you have looked within and fully acknowledged that extremely painful state, that fearful belief and feeling that you are not good enough, you can release it and see the insanity of it, the utter invalidity of it. In that moment of awareness as you gently release it, thank it for the protection it thought it was offering you, and then intend and allow yourselves to feel the Love in which the Tsunami of Love has enveloped you.

The human condition, in which each of you sees yourself as separate from one another and from God, causes you enormous stress. Your true nature is Love, but as humans it seems that you are separated from that state and so you spend your lives seeking it, mostly in the wrong places – from your parents initially, from authority figures, from your peer group, and then very likely from another individual whom you admire and covet and whom you desperately hope will return your admiration.

To believe yourself to be separate is a most painful experience that starts at birth as you are forcefully expelled from the womb. As you grow and develop, the parental, tribal, cultural, racial, and religious rules that are imposed upon you further confirm that sense of separation because each time you break one of them and are judged wrong, and maybe shamed for doing so, it builds within you an intense sense of unworthiness thus separating you emotionally from the “good people,” those who have judged you and found you wanting. And that pain has to be buried, hidden deep in your unconscious, because it cannot be born.

When you see it spelled out like that it is quite clear that the only way out of this unhappy state is by embracing Love. You all, every single human being, wants only to be loved. And there is never even a moment when you are not infinitely loved. As a human you need to feel loved because Love is your nature, and to feel unloved is effectively to die. So you keep seeking outside what you can only find within you. Love is the life force, without it you would cease to exist and that is impossible because you are eternal Beings at One with Source.

Nevertheless, it seems to many of you that you do die because you have learned over the eons to identify solely with your human bodies which have, as you might express it “a rather severely limited shelf-life.” Medical science has recently succeeded in extending that bodily life expectancy, but it has also encouraged a belief that it is the only life available to you.

Over the eons Unconditional Love and acceptance has been a state of being that very few have experienced. However, over the last one hundred years or so, mainly as a result of the development of psychology as an approved ameliorative healing practice, the need that humans have for love has been increasingly recognized and applied, so that many young people today take it as normal – as indeed it is! – that people should behave kindly and lovingly to one another.

It is this enormous change in perception that led to the arrival of the Tsunami of Love. Previously, in earlier times, it would not have been welcomed because the general human attitude encouraged judgment and harsh punishment for wrongdoers, even for the smallest offenses.

Love was talked about as being desirable but unobtainable, and therefore it was considered insane to even dream of experiencing it. You have some “leftover” expressions from those times: “You have to be cruel to be kind,” and “Tough love.” Many still believe in them! However, humanity as a whole is moving very rapidly away from that insane and truly unconscionable belief system.

Love does not condemn or punish, It offers Itself freely and constantly to all. But over the eons you have spent in the illusion, playing games of separation and experiencing the concomitant fear, judgment, and shame that it offers, you have “learned” to see yourselves as unworthy of Love and therefore find it very difficult to accept It.

Feeling unloved, because you have closed yourselves off to It so that the pain of not feeling It will not be experienced, you are amazed when someone unexpectedly treats you kindly and lovingly.

This is happening more and more frequently as all are now enveloped and overlighted in every moment by the Tsunami of Love. All you need do to experience It is to open your hearts and allow It in.

Intellectually most of you know that God loves you all, (1) but deep within you lies your true knowing, (2) the place where you can feel that Love enveloping and embracing you. By opening your hearts you learn to access that deep inner knowing and can then relish the experience of it whenever you choose.

It is your God-given right, your heritage, so claim it, daily, and release all doubts about your worthiness to enjoy and experience God’s infinite Love for you.

Your loving brother, Jesus.

Golden Gaia News Roundup: March 11, 2015

news roundupInternational Finance: Banks can be a bit slippery …even those across the pond.

A pension body has called for the resignation of Sir John Sunderland, Barclays’ pay review committee chairman, accusing the bank of “misleading shareholders.”

“In a strongly worded statement, Local Authority Pension Fund Forum (LAPFF) chair Kieran Quinn said: ‘It is inexplicable how Barclays can have gone back on its promise to the 2014 AGM that Sir John would step down. Having messed up remuneration for 2013 Sir John has in fact stayed on as chair and presided over another year of still unacceptably high pay for 2014, and is still in place in March 2015. It’s nothing short of misleading shareholders.'”

Mr Quinn continued by saying Sir John’s participation in distributing “‘grossly excessive bonuses’ and his support for former chief executive Bob Diamond, amongst other things, had been ‘disastrous for shareholder returns and the reputation of the bank.’”

It seems you and me, “the little people” in this equation, fortunately have a voice in the LAPFF as they seem to have gone to bat for us by being particularly critical of executives receiving exorbitant high levels of compensation and of their entire bonus culture.

Last week, Barclays penned a 21% fall since their 2014 report of $3.4billion. Ouch, that really hurts (was I sincere enough to convince you I feel terrible for them…?), especially learning that they “increased its provision to cover any fallout from a probe into currency market manipulation by $1.13bil to $188.2bil. [Meanwhile,] Boss Antony Jenkins was awarded a $1.65mil bonus –his first as chief executive.”

Please don’t misunderstand my directness: I have no problems with making profit. It’s just that when corporations are making these types of profits and have “insurance” to protect their business from going under, then I start to feel a bit insignificant and disadvantaged.

Further, Heaven forbid a bank falls into the red and teeters on bankruptcy, then the government typically comes in to rescue them. Where the hell is the government when Mum & Pop shops across our towns are crumbling, giving way to all these mega corporate chain stores, greatly hampering the average jane or joe to make a living for her/himself?

It’s simply this type of huge discrepancy I’m highlighting. What’s worse is that we have been conditioned to believe that we are not worth it, that’s just the way the cookie crumbles. “Bah humbug” …that’s the way the cookie crumbles. It’s important to recognize how the system we live in is set up in order to march, protest, and advocate for change. Nonviolent protesting, of course! :-)

Step down, Sir John, and while you’re at it …take a few billion and create a program or two that actually assists others in getting back on their feet.

Financial Investing: Am I skeptical, or just the only one who remembers the LIBOR scandal?

Investment strategist Sam Stovall states that after losing 15-20% of your initial investment, you should not bailout but rather stay in because it only takes an average of four months to make your money back. (1) Now, I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve never invested in stocks. Why? Because I do not trust that rigged game.

Although, I personally have not invested, I certainly know plenty of people who have …and I’ve never heard any of them report that after four, or even six, months they’ve recouped their money –just to break even. And maybe it does happen frequently. Does it happen for you, my dear readers, when you’re investing in the stocks? Tell me, let me know how well your stock investments pay off for you, in the name of financial investment education …and I’ll write a story here.

They tell us we’ve been in a bull market for six years now.

They tell us the “biggest threat to the bull market is…the Federal Reserve raising interest rates.”

They tell us the stock market has surged 200%.

And yet, “stocks tumbled on Friday …as a surprisingly strong February jobs report increases the chances of a Fed hike in June. In other words, good news was suddenly bad, for the market at least.”(1) Are they talking in circles …or is it just me?

On the surface, it seems that economic conversation is so extremely intelligent …some might called it complicated or sophisticated. You know what I call it? “Intellectual b.s.” Please forgive me for saying such a thing, yet there is no other way around it in this circumstance. This is intellectual mumbo jumbo.

Speaking big words, sounding intelligent, yet every statement has some exception or actual life experience that contradicts it. By definition, a “theory” talks in circles: A theory is something that cannot be confirmed or proven nor disproven, for that matter; hence “theory.”

When said theorem is proven, then it can change into a rule or a law of nature, for example. But here, where talking about a man-made concept (economics), derived from the human brain living in 3rd Dimension. How funny is that?! We’re trying to take this concept of money and elevate it as if it’s something bigger than it really is: Just a tool, to help us get items or services we want. This is the result of the negative ego, sliding in and pretending it’s important.

Let me further explain: Did I mention that economics is theory? It’s not like math (1+1 always equals 2). It’s not like chemistry, where mixing yellow and blue gives us green. It’s not like genetics, where a recessive blue-eyed mom and a recessive blue-eyed dad conceives a recessive blue-eyed daughter.

One “tried and true” method of investing actually never works for long, right? Because before long, this method stops working, and then one has to try something different. Betting on one stock is never always a winner. Betting on one horse, or one racing dog, or one basketball team in March Madness will not win every time.

Gambling your own money on a global level –now that has “corporate cabal” written all over it. For sure, this has been a world’s financial controllers “game” since its inception. “During the Renaissance in the 12th and 13th centuries, Venice and other city–states in Italy began issuing bonds as a way to raise money for wars and other ventures. These bonds were bought and resold, or traded, which is comparable to what goes on now.” (2)

“The first stock exchange as we know it, though, wasn’t created until 1602 with the creation of the Dutch East India Company and the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. The Dutch East India Company was a group of entrepreneurs who banded together to explore the New World and make money off the enterprise…. They issued stocks and bonds and set up the stock exchange so these assets could be bought and sold – even to the public.” (2)

“In modern times (and by modern I mean the last two centuries), stock markets emerged as a way to get members of the public-at-large to invest money either into stock from companies or bonds from the government.” There it is, researching online the origins of stock markets… I knew I’d come across that part: “A way to get members of the public-at-large to invest [their] money.” (2)

Investing our own money in this game immediately makes me recall the LIBOR scandal brought to the surface of our societal consciousness in June 2012, even though some studies show “fixing the game” was happening as early as 1991. LIBOR revealed that banks (largely Barclay from previous story today –such a surprise, wink wink) were falsely inflating or deflating their rates to profit from trades, or to give the sense of security that they were more financially lucrative than they really were.

This was such a huge deception that it impacted several areas of our economic arena, considering that LIBOR rates were used as a reference point and global foundation for student loans, financial derivatives, mortgages, and other financial products. And we learn it was rigged (ouch) …affecting so many areas of our livelihood.

Personally, I’d say the biggest threat to investing is simply investing in corporate markets …period. It’s all a fixed game –get out while you can. Find private funds or programs in which to invest …our government and corporate billion dollar peeps are not to be trusted.

Cosmic Awareness via Will Berlinghof: Our Negative Inner Programming

Cosmic AwarenessAudio version of this channeling is available here.

That which is Cosmic Awareness is available, please proceed.

Thank you for being with us today for the Rainbow Phoenix membership session of March 6th. Will Berlinghof is the Voice for your messages, Joan Mills is the questioner and energizer.

The Law of Light, the Law of Love, the Law of Unity and the Law of Gratitude have been invoked. Is there an Opening Message or any event you would like to discuss please at this time? Thank you.

That this Awareness does have an opening message, a general opening message. That this Awareness has been talking about the programming that humans go through and receive. This programming commences even before the birth into the physical, into third dimensionality.

But it certainly could be said that the programming a human goes through begins at the very beginning, begins at the cradle and goes throughout one’s life, right until the end. Therefore the programming of humans is that which could be said to be cradle-to-grave.

It is of such a nature that most never realize that they are programmed to think in a certain way, to respond in a certain way, to energize their lives in a certain way. It is the programming that constitutes the outline of life on this planet and the expectations one might have as to what will or will not occur, what can or cannot happen.

Most never question the programming, never see it as something other than what it is: the working rules and laws that govern one as they move through life itself. Some of the programming is that which is inherent in the natural order of things, as it is taught to humans. This natural order would convey then to the ones living in this system, the running rules or the rules of engagement that one lives one’s life by.

These are deep and widespread, they govern many levels of activity of a human being as they exist in this special environment that they are born into.

Such examples of this natural programming or that which is considered natural is, for example, the programming around gender and gender beliefs, gender expectations. That the masculine is favored on this planet at this time and for a long time the advantage was to the masculine gender.

That there are assumptions about gender therefore, such as men are superior or men have the advantage, that women have been oppressed, and that they are secondary citizens, etc. etc.

It is not the intent of this Awareness to present a full discussion of gender and gender issues. It is simply using this as an example of how many have assumptions that they are programmed to have that are natural to humanity and how things are seen.

It is certainly the case, that in the case of gender there is a shift happening, changes are underway. Thus, the male gender dominance of the masculine which has been so prominent over the last several thousand years is being corroded away, is being chipped away, as the feminine is making a return.

There are still many discrepancies between the masculine and the feminine but it is no longer what it was even a short while ago. That this is an example of one of the natural programs one is born into when one chooses to come into physicality for this time, this age, this place.

That this Awareness would now speak of another program that is running in humanity. That it is important to understand this particular program and the depth of this program in order to begin to change the program in oneself.

The specific program this Awareness is referring to is the program that states that life itself is hardship, is suffering, is that which always should expect a bad outcome, a negative outcome to occur in life, and not to expect a good resolution or result of living in the physical world.

It is captured in such phrases as: “one must save for a rainy day”, or “if it is too good to be true, it probably is not true”, or “that life is only about suffering, that you are born to suffer, and then you die”.

These negative program templates that exist in the mindset and psyche of humanity are so deep, so ingrained that most humans never ever stop to think that their attitudes are already pre-shaped because of that which is the collective attitude held by humanity, that life is a hard go and that only bad things can really be expected and you are not to believe in positive goals and outcomes.

This discouragement of the positive, of being positive is so deep and endemic in humanity itself, that it is often so that when one tries to look at things in a positive way or expresses positivity, one is beaten down by the many that hold that it is a very negative world and expectations of something positive and fine coming are not even tolerated by those who hold this mindset.

Thus it is that many have had the experiencing of experiences wherein one may express to another that it will be alright, everything will be fine, only to be met with rebuttal and put down.

That one can indeed express this positive mindset to another, especially one known perhaps to that one, only to hear: “ yes but”, only to receive from the other, the reasons why this could not be so.

If one were to say, for example, to a friend that one could choose a positive timeline and avoid that which is the negative, the response often is: “that is unrealistic, that is not reality. Reality is this: “that you are born, you suffer, then you die”.

The purpose of this expression today of this philosophy, of this information is to help the individual to recognize how deeply embedded programming truly is, especially the programming that dictates that there are only negative results that can truly be expected, and to have things work out is a fairy tale and fairy tale endings very seldom come true.

Such is the assumption and such is the conviction of those who express this attitude and this programming, that it is quite convincing, especially if one has within oneself the equivalent program of negativity and the lack of expectations to positive results.

Thus a saying such as “one must save for a rainy day” implies that even though one is in the sunshine, even though one is in good weather and a good time, it will get bad again, it will rain again, and one must therefore make efforts when it is sunny to ensure that when it is foul, that they will survive, that they will get through.

But the actuality of this programmed concept is that there is always an expectation it must get bad again and it cannot stay fine weather. Thus the saying: “one must save for a rainy day”. This Awareness, aside from pointing this out, would also add to this that it is important to present a positive viewpoint, an alternative to the negative viewpoint.

Therefore instead of saying: “one must save for a rainy day”, perhaps it would be more advantageous to say: “one can expect a sunny day, that life is about sunshine and warmth and abundance and that there is no need then to worry about the rainy day and that one will be able in the moment of that time ahead to live in the sunshine and fine weather and with abundance and joy, for this is what is expected”.

This is that which is the new program that replaces the negative programming. This negative programming exists even in the fables and parables of humanity.

In particular this Awareness would present the fable, the story of the grasshopper and the ant. That in this Aesop’s fable, the ants see life as that which is about preparation for the rainy day. That they are diligent and hardworking when the sun is shining, not allowing themselves to enjoy the fine weather, whereas the grasshopper living in the moment enjoys the fine day, the fine weather.

Of course the moral of this tale, this fable is that when winter comes, the ants are fully prepared and they retreat underground and enjoy that which they have worked hard to establish for themselves when the weather was fine, while the grasshopper is left out in the cold, freezing and starving.

When the grasshopper comes to the door of the ants and knocks on the door, they rebuff him, they deny him entrance for he was the foolish one and they had told him in the fine weather to prepare for the rainy day and the hard times ahead and he did not do so.

Therefore the ants felt justified in turning away this one who had come to their door, to suffer his fate. The moral implication of course again supports the programming that there is dark times ahead and that one cannot enjoy life in the moment, but must instead focus on the hard times and prepare oneself for those hard times.

This is a very deep programming that runs in the very core of the human psyche. That because the negative is always reinforced and because part of the programming is to ensure the entrapment of humanity in not living in the moment, not being in their power, but instead focusing on the bad, the negative, the dark that is ahead, that they can be controlled and manipulated.

That in this particular fable, the moral is of course, that if you do not do it this way, you will suffer the consequence when times change, things get harder again and that you will die, because you did not prepare yourself.

This is the programming and in this program one can find that energetic strand of consciousness that is manipulated by those in power, those with the understanding of how to manipulate, so that humans adopt this as their working tenant of faith in their lives and thus are very easily sidetracked away from the truth of living in one’s moment, of being focused, of knowing that the positive can also occur if one stays focused on this, versus that which is the negative: “that something wrong or bad will happen always”.

Therefore this Awareness does say that while there is some merit in being prepared, there is no merit in believing that always the result will go sideways, that there always will be a bad result, dark times, suffering, hardship. This deep programming must be realized within the individual as being that which is there, that which is held by society and that which most believe in and put out as so, put out as reality.

This Awareness, in speaking of timelines and choosing timelines, would therefore say that with recognition of this degree of programming, one then can come to an understanding that one has a choice.

A choice of whether to accept the programming that has been put down and taken in by humanity, by the individual, or one rather can expand one’s consciousness with the realization that if one can create one’s reality by focusing on it and if one focuses on the negative, then why is it not so that one could equally focus on the positive, be in one’s power, realize that the program has been built up continuously over thousands and thousands of years, so that it is that which most would consider non-debatable, without discussion, that it could be anything but the negative and that this is reality.

If one can understand this, recognize this and even pledge oneself to dismiss this, to disentangle oneself from this way of thinking, and with equal vigor apply oneself to focusing on a positive future, of recognizing that if one creates one’s reality through the beliefs that are held and the energies put out consciously and unconsciously to support those beliefs, then why not have positive beliefs?

Why not hold hope as that which is fundamental to one’s life? To understand that one can live for the sunny day and does not need to expect the rainy day.

This process is one that takes time to develop, in that there is great discomfort often in an individual when they try to let go of a programming.

If one simply gave up one’s job today because one wished to dance in the sunlight and the fine times one is in at this moment, often leaves that energetic recoil of the individual that goes into fear and doubt and confusion, and it becomes a stress to them to make such a change, such a dramatic change, even though intellectually they may understand the very principle that this Awareness is talking about.

Therefore this Awareness asks first that you simply begin to identify when you, the individual, are in a negative programming, where you have negative thoughts and feelings and fears, to doing something positive or moving away from that which is held by the collective as so.

That as you become more aware of this negative programming, it does become easier to choose not to endorse this negative programming and alternatively to begin to focus on a more positive outlook and outcome.

That you begin to make choices, where you choose not to simply be the slave of the conditioning and the programming and begin to make the small steps into your positive nature and your positive being, and that when it is finally time for one to step fully off the cliff that they can do so much more easily because they have been working at it step by step.

The most important thing of course is to realize that one of the biggest programmings of all is that it is not possible for you to have a wondrous result, a wonderful life. Begin here to say “why not? Why is it so that the expectation is that when you think in terms of positive outcomes, that the energies held by the mass consciousness will dictate it cannot be so?”

“Is this not part of a program and part of programming that has been given to me that I have accepted because I was not given alternatives, that I have ingrained within my own being to such a degree that it stresses me to think of life where it is fine and wonderful and positive, knowing that the truth, the alleged truth, is that things will go bad, things will not work out, and that for me to believe anything else than that is irresponsible and insane.”

Of course this Awareness is presenting it in first person so that each of you can think of your own responses and feelings when you are faced with information such as that which this Awareness delivers: that you must look positively forward, hold that the outcome, the timeline of your own personal experience can be one that is glorious and uplifting and exorbitant in positivity and well-being.

That when one chooses to focus on the negative, it is because of the programming that exists within oneself and it is only with an awareness to programming that one can start first to recognize the program and secondly then to change the programming.

Instead of holding the creed that bad things will happen, that life is about pain and suffering, and there is no way, and to think in terms of things working out, even though it is hoped for, it is never totally believed in.

That understanding this as a starting point will help the individual, each and every one of you, to effect the changes in your own life, to begin the process of deprogramming yourself as you move into the program of your own choice.

Do not save for a rainy day, prepare to dance in the sunlight.

Healing the Wounds

unityThis poor article should have been posted a week ago but more important shares kept pushing it back. It’s part of the record of core cleansing however and I squeeze it in here.

It’s a happy coincidence that Jesus spoke recently about letting go of resentments and demands for restitution:

“That resistance, denial, or refusal, is your holding on to judgment, resentment, blame, or hate against anyone – even, and especially, against yourselves – and any demands or desires for restitution because you believe you have been so terribly wronged.” (1)

That’s a second statement of the behavior pattern “resist, resent, revenge.” (2)

I said earlier (3) that I would go over a second breakthrough I had on my vacation, in which I healed all the wounds I was carrying at that moment. I’m going to repeat the description I gave of that breakthrough, shortly after it happened:

I forgave everyone in my life this evening.

I initially tried just forgiving everyone outright and I got a so-so result.

Then I chose to see the issues I had like so many arrow wounds in my body.

I did a meditation in which I removed every arrow, each one representing one wound. I asked Archangel Michael to help me remove them. I ran my awareness over all parts of my body to see they were all gone.

And finally there was only one more spot where an arrow remained. That was my heart.

And the arrow in my heart was as big as a harpoon.

I had to work to pry that arrow loose.

I asked Archangel Michael to remove it and he used instruments made of love and light to do it. Then I asked St. Germaine to use his violet flame to heal the wound.

I feel totally recovered at this moment. I haven’t felt this way for as long as I can remember.

I see that memories of fresh wounds continue to arise and I remove the arrows as fast as I can locate them.

Before it was hard to forgive people in an outright way. But now all issues have melted away and nothing remains to forgive.

What I saw that night was that, when I dropped all resentments I was carrying, I forgot about the issues I had with others. There was then no more need for forgiveness because there were no more issues.

In fact all memory of what it was I needed to forgive vanished from my mind so that forgiveness as an issue or unfinished circumstance disappeared from my radar screen.

Reflecting on what had happened, I realized that resentment was like an arrow wound I inflict on myself. It’s so hard to see things in their true perspective. I assume that, by my resentment, I’m somehow teaching the other person a lesson. I’m not. The only one I hurt is myself: resentment, it turns out, is a self-inflicted wound.

I didn’t feel so great when I woke up yesterday. I felt tired, lazy, lethargic, and the last thing I wanted to do was write anything or post to the blog. When I explored why I felt this way, I realized that I still had some latent reservations about the role I’m playing in humanity’s awakening.

I convinced myself I didn’t want to spend so much time on the computer, which, as you can imagine, is a huge requirement when it comes to running a blog. After all, being on the computer is required to post, write articles, answer emails, or do pretty much anything else that reaches people.

I wanted to detach from the computer because I tend to feel like technology opposes the natural lifestyle I want to cultivate.

Now, I’m realizing that technology can be a natural part of life that we use for positive, constructive purposes, and while it’s hard to meditate while we’re staring into a computer screen, technology doesn’t have to be the unnatural beast it’s sometimes made out to be.

The other reason I felt so unwilling to contribute is that I started to feel like I was spending too much time posting to the blog, and I could use that time to develop my writing and music. I took this idea and ran with it (like I have in the past), and it eventually got to the point where I didn’t want to do anything.

I didn’t want to write, play music or post to the blog, and it was all because I convinced myself I didn’t have enough creative time. I essentially stopped myself from doing the things I was upset about not having time for. Do you see the irony?

I notice that if we let it, the mind will bring up all kinds of issues and present every downside to every aspect of life, which includes our spiritual work.

I was worried that I wasn’t giving myself enough creative time throughout the day, and in indulging this worry and letting it bring me down, I actually stopped myself from being creative. And it all started because I convinced myself there was a problem in the first place.

When I was thinking about how posting can take away valuable creative time, I neglected to think about all that spare time I have each day that isn’t used for creativity. I’m realizing now that I actually have plenty of time, and I just have to use the opportunities that are available throughout the day.

I’m also learning that if we feel low, it can help to take a small break, let a few things slip through the cracks and explore our feelings. If we wake up in the morning and dread whatever we have to do that day, we need to take some time to think about why we feel that way.

That’s exactly what I did, and it helped me realize that while posting is probably the most repetitive, mechanical thing I do throughout the day, it’s still necessary and it can actually be spiritual.

It’s spiritual because of the content of the articles I post, which touch on spiritual matters and matters that deal with alternative news, and just because I’m not writing and playing music all day long doesn’t mean the other things I do aren’t valuable or helpful, for me and other people.

It took breaking my normal routine and exploring why I felt the way I did to arrive at this conclusion, and if it weren’t for the decision to stop and explore these negative thoughts and feelings that were surfacing, I might’ve pushed them back down and kept myself from exploring them.

It’s essential to give ourselves some time to unwind and ask ourselves some essential questions about our lives, and we might stay in a perpetually unhappy state of mind if we don’t explore our negativity, work through it and start contributing again when we’re ready.

I’ve always had issues with posting (because, again, it can be a little repetitive), but I’m realizing that if I stick with my creativity and utilize that extra free time to develop the writing and music, the amount of time I spend posting won’t matter because I’ll still give myself plenty of time for other things.

I’m starting to accept that my role will require a lot of work, and I might not have very much free time. It’s essential for anyone who stays consistently busy to make time to sit in contemplative silence and explore their consciousness, but we can stay creatively busy when we aren’t meditating.

There’s nothing wrong with staying busy, and in fact, I think we’re meant to be busy right now. I think we’re meant to work (and play) hard in the name of the light, and we can occupy ourselves with tasks that stimulate our spirituality and our drive to use our creativity progressively.

Staying busy is actually a good thing, but again, we need to take a break when we just don’t have it in us. A break is necessary every now and then, and this is why I like to get out to nature or do other things that refill my cup and inspire me to get back to this lovely little laptop and write (or post) my heart out.

When I get to the core of the issue, I realize that fear has stopped me from wholeheartedly contributing every day.

Fear stops me from thinking I can write, post articles, play music and be a full-time parent every day, all at the same time (which doesn’t sound like much but, believe me, is a lot of work), and we need to eradicate fear if we want to succeed at anything.

Let fear be a thing of the past, and let spiritually inspired activity, along with the willingness to take a break when we don’t feel our best, show us the way into a higher consciousness. Writing this has helped me explore and work through this issue, and at the end of the day, I feel blessed to have all these creative tools.

You can continue to expect articles from me (along with a lot of other people) on the blog, and if I seem absent one day in the future, it’s because I took my own advice, detached, and refilled my cup. I’d probably return the next day stronger than ever.

I don’t see it happening, though, and despite my advice, the last thing I want to do is take a break now.

Let’s do our best, try to ‘be there every day’ as Bob Marley said, and remember to rest when we need it. When we can do all of this and embrace our role to the point that we’re excited to contribute every day, everything will flow more smoothly.

We just need a little faith, perseverance and self-empowerment.
