	ONLY IN AMERICA We are the only country where we have homeless without shelter, children going to bed without eating, elderly going without needed meds, and mentally ill without treatment - yet we have a benefit for the people of Haiti on 12 TV stations, ships and planes lining up with food, water, tents, clothes, bedding, doctors and medical supplies. Imagine if we gave ourselves the same support that we gave other countries. I feel bad for them but I guess who cares about America. 99% of people won't have the guts to forward this. 	I did watch the speech of our President in Nevada ! And I am doing as he asked for all to floss their teeth :-) And I want to watch, listen to the 6 to 8 hours debates about proposals for our medical coverage of our nation ! I really don't think we need NEW, just to revamp the system we have, as we probably have the best in World ... even with all the gripe g .... He did have a lot to say ... that people should be listening to and letting their representatives know what they think are the good ideas ! And he is right, there is so much miss information going around.

	I did see a news report about children of Haiti ... that they will be exploited .... People of all nations need to pay attention and come up with a plan .. a good one would be to help support the adults who survived to raise the orphaned and injured children in their own nation and culture. It would take less ... than adopting a few out to foreign countries. Sponsor a child or 10 instead of adopting, provide for their needs and education in their native land. Linda
