Quote: Hey there Roger...
Not sure which Linda you were referring to...but I can be Linda if you like. :-)
Curry is one of those spices that my Indian friend says is more that just one spice. She's from Bombay and has lived in the states now for quite some time. At any rate, I only know about the one that I've tasted...& it is quite overpowering when used in large measure. Just a wee bit of it tastes good and adds an unusual taste to the food. I do like Indian food...eating it every night for a month would make one forget asparagus! I'll have to try the Chicken Tikka Massala at a local Indian restruant a few blocks from where I live. Sounds good, is it really hot? So do you like wasabi? Now that's a hot spice that will clean out the sinuses.
Thanks for coming back by and posting your comments Roger.

So sorry Cheryl, I had three things that I was doing at once and by brain flipped. Try the chicken Tikka Masala, It's not very hot. A good Restaraunt will always do you a slightly milder one. Wasabi is more frequently used in Thai type curries. The smell of the paste is disgusting but in a dish it is essential to some dishes. I prefer Indian curries because I find Thai a little too scented for me. Roger
