FLASHBACK: Obama Campaign Accused Clinton Of Feeding 'False Claims' About His Origins In 2008

Donald Trump accused the Clinton campaign of of being the original source of the 'birther' controversy, which held that Barack Obama was not born in the United States. Although the Clinton campaign has forcefully denied their involvement in pushing the controversy, the Obama campaign itself accused Clinton of "dirty tricks" during the 2008 primary.

The initial controversy arose when the Clinton campaign was accused of circulating this photo of Obama dressed in Muslim garb:

In 2008 the UK Guardian reported:

Barack Obama's campaign team today accused Hillary Clinton's beleaguered staff of mounting a desperate dirty tricks operation by circulating a picture of him in African dress, feeding into false claims on US websites that he is a Muslim.

Obama's campaign manager, David Plouffe, described it as "the most shameful, offensive fear-mongering we've seen from either party in this election". Obama has had to spend much of the campaign stressing he is a Christian not a Muslim and did not study at a madrassa.

This isn't the only evidence to suggests the Clinton campaign was behind many of the questions about Obama's origins.

Clinton's 2007 campaign manager Mark Penn circulated a campaign strategy memo in which he suggested attacking Obama for not being "fundamentally American" and targeting then Senator Obama's "lack of American roots."

Penn Strategy Memo, March 19, 2007

Penn Strategy Memo, March 19, 2007

Penn Strategy Memo, March 19, 2007: More than anything else, this memo captures the full essence of Mark Penn's campaign strategy--its brilliance and its breathtaking attacks. Penn identified with impressive specificity the very coalition of women and blue-collar workers that Clinton ended up winning a year later. But he also called Obama "unelectable except perhaps against Attila the Hun," and wrote, "I cannot imagine America electing a president during a time of war who is not at his center fundamentally American in his thinking and in his values." Penn proposed targeting Obama's "lack of American roots."

From comrade to caudillo Daniel Ortega imposes a dictatorial dynasty in Nicarag
9/17/2016 12:16:55 PM

IT MAY be small and poor, but Nicaragua claims a comparative advantage in poetry. Its people celebrated this year the centenary of the death of Rubén Darío, who is widely held to have brought Spanish-language verse into the modern age. “In Nicaragua everybody is considered to be a poet until he proves to the contrary,” wrote Salman Rushdie, a British novelist. In a brief trip to the country during the Sandinista revolution, which toppled the dictatorship of the Somoza dynasty in 1979, he kept bumping into versifiers. They included one Daniel Ortega, whose most memorable ode was entitled “I never saw Managua when miniskirts were in fashion”, written when he was in jail.

The Sandinista revolution inspired a generation of leftists around the world. Its Marxism was leavened by Christian liberation theology and an idealistic commitment to social justice. Never mind that it was backed with Fidel Castro’s arms and know-how. To its fans, Sandinista Nicaragua was a saintly David which, having overthrown a brutal and corrupt regime, was then besieged by the Contras, armed by the United States Goliath. Thanks to the ebbing of the cold war and outside pressure, the revolution’s most obvious legacy was to create a democracy—“although this was not its most passionate objective”, as Sergio Ramírez, the Sandinista vice-president and an accomplished novelist, wrote in a memoir.

Was This Prominent Black Leader Murdered Because He Spoke Out Against Geoge Soros’ Black Lives Matter?

seals

Last week, a prominent 29-year-old anti-police state Ferguson activist named Darren Seals was found murdered.

He had been shot and left in a burning car in St. Louis in the middle of the night. Further details have not been released by police who cite their ongoing investigation.

But what hasn’t been brought up in the mainstream media is just how much of a vocal opponent of the co-opted, George Soros funded Black Lives Matter movement and its “leaders” Seals was. In fact, he referred to them as “Black Lies Matter”.

According to Hotep Nation, Seals coined the term “Actorvists” as a play on words for Black Lives “activists”. As in, actors. Paid for. In addition they report:

Let it be known that Darren actually slapped Deray, the perceived leader of Black Lives Matter. According to Darren, Deray and his cohorts, hijacked the REAL Ferguson movement and took credit for the work done by Ferguson citizens, which included Darren. Black Lives Matter was being backed by billionaire George Soros and Darren was rigorously using his social media to shed light on that.

Twitter is currently censoring Seals’ Tweets as “sensitive material”.
