I am glad I did not have to live my youth like my mom's mom, who was 9 years old when the Civil War ended; or my mom, who cleverly migrated out of the dirty south to shield 4 of her six children from southern terrorists. My mom's mom was BLESSED for being shielded by Native Americans, during the Civil War. The one thing I learned from both ladies is the "Truth will set you free" no matter what era one lives in. I thank Abba Father for all He created and I put not my trust in FLESH matters.

Ever hear of the "Underground Railroad"? I am sure you did, Jan, just as sure as I know there are some saying what railroad? The point is my mother's family was chased from Georgia to Louisiana for assisting that railroad. Another nugget is my mother was such a racist, until my sister was raped by a black, drill instructor. She became pregnant brought the baby home, then because of the issues in county she was to give the child up. My mother couldn't do that so now my nephew is my little step brother. I lived in Atlanta during the riots and started school with National Guard troops and felt the aftermath in Washington, D.C. as my father was re-stationed there during the whole thing. It's time for something to change and that is to stop treating folks so differently from one another or your circle of friends. Stop this PC mentality and I am victim because 450 years ago something bad was happening. It's over but I see the flames of evil, division and hatred being oxygenated by not ourselves but those that have much to lose if we were working together. And it ain't who you think it is.
