As for me in my day-to-day life?
I'm a grandmother of 9 ...age 13 down to 24 months...
5 boys and 4 girls! I live in the Pacific Northwest and
am originally from Illinois. (Land of Lincoln and Obama!)
Not much to tell really! Waiting for spring so I can plant
some wildflower seeds I bought at the local Ace Hardware
store the other day (it's within walking distance since I
don't have a car and I prefer shopping locally than at
WallyMart type stores)

Today's the first day of Spring and a crocus is finally coming up
in front yard. There was one on the west side of the house
several weeks ago. And I have a few eidelweiss (sp?) that
show up the earliest along the back corner of my little house.
But those crocus in the front yard come up again in bloom
late summer! Is this common? seems odd! *smiles*

ok, I've been gone for many months but now I'm wondering if I wasn't gone before and came back and found this and already did what I'm about to do...go through and thank everybody!
With the new improved Adland, under comments someone had congratulated me for this and I was perplexed... So before I embarass myself more than necessary I'm going to post this and take a closer look...

Thank You Thank You Thank You and my immense apology for not knowing of this...

I was trying to quote each one (great new feature) but it keeps taking me to the last of the list without a reply window opening...

So, I'm going to just do this BIG BIG THANK YOU to all for taking the time to honor me with POTW even tho I was playing hooky!

I went offline way back late last year and I must have just needed some time but I missed Adland. So for about a week I kept thinking how I need to visit Adland and especially get in touch with Max although we have emailed during this time when I was able to from my daughter's home.

So a couple of days ago, Jeanette came by and she helped me stay on task and move my pc to where I have a new connection to the internet in my livingroom which was overwhelming for me to accomplish on my own. I still haven't figured out how to have the answering machine hooked up with my phone line and not mess up my verizon internet. It is no doubt simple but I seem to have become my grandmother! LOL and things I used to do with ease no less have become a tad confusing for me!

So thanks to everyone who congratulated me with all the lovely pics and sweet words and hugs and all! It is very much appreciated!
