Hi Luka, << Somehow I feel a bit lost in this world. EVERYONE TRIES TO BE GENTLE AND KIND , but is their gentleness and kindness TRUE? >> Do we ask if harshness and bad habits are true? Of course not. They are unwelcome and noticed much more. We have to make a habit to notice small goodnesses on a regular basis and keep it as a habit, looking out for goodness in all the small details, but we don't always do that because we don't question our comfort zones, we just take it all for granted that that's the way it should be. Do we TRY to tie our shoes? We just do it, if someone said "TRY" to tie your shoes, you'd wonder why they said that. People trying to be gentle and kind as if it takes effort? but not trying to be harsh as if it's effortless? Both take the same amount of thought processes but people accept the harshness as easier to accomplish for some reason, nobody says "people trying to be harsh but is it for real?" as if it took no expenditure to do it, the realness in bad habits and negative words is taken for granted as a non-effort, but everything takes effort. That's like asking if we try to wake up in the morning or try to stay asleep, it's a double-sided coin and most people would probably give a 50-50 answer. Waking always wins even if we let ourselves go back to sleep over and over for an hour, we still spend most of our time being awake and finding reasons to stay awake past our limitations. I think people spend the majority of their time in unrecognized goodness, because it's the human condition to notice badness more often even if it's in lower amounts, just because we don't like it, and put more concentration on the temporary discomfort, even if it all takes the same efforts.
