That could be it, I have Kapersky but I'll keep it and I guess I'll keep the slowness.  First when I got my computer I found out they didn't install the Kapersky correctly and I had no virus protection for 6 weeks in Jan-Feb and something went wrong, that made me really mad so then it WAS installed, and the tech told me we get bombarded with 20 potential viruses per hour, especially from free download stuff such as games or wallpapers or junk like that.  I don't download anything but ya never know what will happen anyway.

You don't need to remove the antivirus software. Read the links I gave you how some people fixed it. Some of them said they reinstalled it and updated, which helped.

We will further look why this antivirus software does that, but for now configuring the parental control section or reinstalling would do it.
