I have a problem with: #1. "Make it New: Your business weblog is not your website. You must offer fresh content and a unique perspective not available from your traditional corporate communications." "Your business weblog is not your website." baffles me somewhat. If that is true, then technicaly, I should get permission from the corporation to use and post by business blog. The corporation I'm connected to has an Internet Policy that includes and controls what & how information is used. Generally, permission to use direct quotes from its publications, i.e Action News, DirectLine and ServiceLine, has been granted. If I were to venture out on my own on a topic that is not published by the corporation, I'm risking an unfavorable consequence. The corporation is always looking for new and unique ways to apply Amsoil synthetic automotive, racing, heavy duty lubricants and related products. In the lubrication industry, specifications determine the products used.

Hello Rudy, Why are you always so negitive about things? you really need to start being more positive, if only for your health.Of course I relize that a persons blog is not there website. But it can go hand in hand with there website. What if you have a website that would be called trading information?,where you invite people to give there opinion on a range of issues and also sold related products? Definitions of Blogs on the Web: * Weblogs or ‘Blogs’ are personal Websites consisting of regularly updated entries displayed in reverse chronological order. They read like a diary or journal, but with the most recent entry at the top. www.itslifejimbutnotasweknowit.org.uk/lt_glossary.htm * Web logs or blogs are a type of Web content typically created by independent writers (although some reporters for media companies create blogs on newspaper or magazine sites). Some are personal journals; others resemble newsletters or columns. Often, they contain links to other sources of content. www.bnet.fordham.edu/carey1/glossary.htm * A weblog (usually shortened to blog, but occasionally spelled web log) is a web-based publication consisting primarily of periodic articles (normally in reverse chronological order). Although most early weblogs were manually updated, tools to automate the maintenance of such sites made them accessible to a much larger population, and the use of some sort of browser-based software is now a typical aspect of "blogging". Many blessings to you, Kathy Martin
