There are three that I can choose from to reply to this thread. Each as it's superior product, compensation plan and targets and attracts different prospects. One thing is common to all three, they have the integrity and longevity to back-up what is presented and offer solutions. I could dissect each one but one could easily place him/herself into any one of them and do very well.

I think you are right, the external things and how it effects your bottom line. After all that is what having a business is really all about unless you have a business that is a total service to people and your not depending on the income from it.

Your knowledge.  Boy is that a big one.  I bought a motorcycle from a dealership a couple of years ago.  This real young guy waited on me 20-21 or so.  But he knew his stuff and was able to point me in the direction I needed to go.

This is so important in the success of a business is the knowledge of what needs to be not just guessing  and hoping it comes out right.

I think it is also safe to say part of a successful business too is just your attitude.  Of course that is a            part of life too.

Addressing " influence of external factors: ie.economy", reducing operation and maintenance expenses in vehicles comes to mind. The issue of maintenance is more obvious in larger vehicles like trucks, RV and SUV's because savings can be more noticeable. The solution I offer is synthetics and related products from Amsoil. Even passenger vehicles will benefit because of a higher degree of protection that synthetics offer to the engine and drive train components. In summary, don't be swayed by the higher price of synthetics because their cost is factored or time and results in savings that the service departments and aftermarket stores do not appreciate.
