Re: Question; Pyramid, chain or legit MLM?

Very, very good points Cheri. =============== The strongest advice I could give anyone who is just starting out in this business is to learn to analyze the pay plan. =============== I think I would add an emphasis on this by saying, if you don't understand the pay plan, don't get involved. You're just setting yourself up for disappointment.

Here are some red flags. 1) I can't tell you all the details, but if you join now you can get rich. If I can't be told the details, then how do I know this program is one that I want to join? I could be joining the internet mafia for all I know. 2) You'll get rich if you do this, and this, and then that type of scenario. Hogwash. There are way too many variables involved in marketing to say that there is a specific plan to follow to get rich. 3) We'll do all the work for you. Really? So, you'll answer my emails for me, pay my bills for advertising, answer my prospects questions the same way I would, explain the pay plan to my family so that they don't think I'm in some scheme to rob people? Give me a break. I don't care what business your in, there is some work involved. 4) Make xxx amount of money in xxx amount of time. No one can control that, I don't care what company it is. Again, there are way too many variables involved to say that you can do this. 5) I'm making so much money at this, but I can't tell you how much. Bragging about something never proves anything. If your going to brag about how much you make, then be prepared to back it up. Otherwise your just blowing smoke. Sincerely, David Rowland

Hi Craftie Linda; ========================================== Thanks for the invite There are a lot of us at Adland who have never met with your internet words. Can you explain what they are and then we might be able to understand your forums. ========================================== I would be very happy to! Anytime you don't understand a word or term, please tell me and I would be happy to explain it. It only takes one brave person to ask, and many will learn. If there is something you don't understand, there are probably others that don't understand it, too. The same goes for anyone reading along - please feel welcome to ask any word or term you don't understand and I will be happy to explain it. You can ask right in the forum, or you can send me a private message if you like... but do feel welcome to ask! : ) Linda

Linda, I certainly agree with your comment "sell a product that I don't know anything about..") Nor would I! :) I do not sell MLM products and I am not a member of any organization that is considered an MLM. My goal in life is to serve and by offering products that aid or benefit other's I can be of service to those who need what I sell or can benefit from what I have to offer. To answer your question: Currently I do not know of any MLM that allows consumers to buy without joining their organization. Have a blessed and successful day! Your friend, Classic Corners http://www.classicwebstore.com
Hope to meet you soon! Regards, Classic Corners http://www.classicwebstore.com

Hi Linda, Front End Loading means forcing the rep to purchase large amounts of product upfront &/or monthly & then sell it off by retailing like Amway did many years ago before they changed their marketing program. One company that comes to mind that allows you to purchase product without joining the MLM program is Lifeforce International. There are some others as well but not many that i know of. (Not a rep of either company mentioned above)
