Hello Dr King, and everyone who is IN and everyone who might be in,
It is difficult to make this post, first because I am a 'newbie' and greener than the grass on the other side of the fence! Second because there seems to be so much mounting dissention, distrust, anger, and on and on and on.........
But these are my thoughts.......Take them as you will.......
1. The unknown - Every NEW business, advertisement, person etc, that is encountered here online and out here in the real world starts out virtually unknown. I don't believe that anyone ever puts all their cards on the table in the beginning of any relationship, business or otherwise. Isn't it usually a 'wait and see' proposition in most everything?
2. Due diligence - An extremely wise practice, that cannot always be done upfront. If you meet a new person, do you get their dossier from the FBI before you decide whether or not you want to be involved with them?
3. Risk - Where is the RISK in this particular venture?
4. Trust - Don't we build trust over the course of a new relationship? As Dr. DA very aptly put it "TRUST IS EARNED NOT DEMANDED". That is not done the very first time you buy a product, or meet a new person, or engage in a business relationship.
5. Faith - Going back to Trust, You have to have faith in people and or products before you can have Trust. I see nothing religious in this.
6. Sharing of new information - Every time you speak or write to someone it is possible that we are passing along new information and usually we are.
7. Invitations - Invite people! Let them make their own decisions. Withholding an invitation to this or any other venture might be considered a disservice by the 'friends' or 'business acquaintances' that you MIGHT invite after the fact. Get it out there, would you want your 'friends' and 'business acquaintances' to DECIDE what is right for you???
OK, I've had my say, and if I made anyone angry, good. If I've made people stop and think, GREAT. And I agree with Ashley, "Why make a Mountain out of a Mole Hill?"
Now, I wish everyone a very wonderful and blessed day!
Thank you,
Take care,
Jo
