Hi John Leal, Thankyou for your comment, although becoming Net IBA certified will reduce the fees, it will be up to each individual to do this, not the responsibility of WOSAT. I keyed in WOSAT in a search yesterday to see if it already held a meaning, and guess what? It does! Wizard of Speed and Time - and old hollywood style movie. They are still making money out of selling the logos etc. from that movie and I havent' seen it for so long I forgot all about it. (just and interesting fact). Back to business. The finance committee will be discussing the use of stormpay tonight and bringing all final details together. We are discussing the possibility of a bank account for WOSAT and Stormpay will be like a stepping stone. If any member wants to let their money accumulate before withdrawing, that will also reduce transfer fees, anyone can then choose Cheque, Net IBA to allow Wire transfers, Debit Card etc. This way WOSAT's treasurer will not have to keep records of everyone's bank account details, payment methods etc, just your Stormpay account details. This will remove the need for paperwork if any member decides to change banks, just change your Stormpay profile. Also if WOSAT needs to upgrade their account or change banks at any time, the members will not be affected and money will still be paid into Stormpay. These details are not yet confirmed until Saturday, but I wanted everyone to understand what has been discussed and so all Board Members and Group Leaders can look over what we are thinking in time for Saturdays board meeting. The opening of a bank account will probably be delayed until a treasurer is appointed and Stormay will serve adequately in the meantime for storing funds. Also as chair person I would like to welcome Mark Cross to the finance committee as we have lost Mike King. This has been agreed by Dr King in the effect that we needed to make numbers up quickly to assist our research. I look forward to posting, the day this difficult task is complete as I have never read so many financial words in one week and look forward to changing subject :-D

Hi Rose, Thankyou for that thought but we will be OK. The film logo is a green picture of a Wizard running. As long as we don't try and copy their picture or Text font there will be no Problem. Our logo's have been requested to state "Wizard of Success Adventure Team" so it's not like we will be using the word WOSAT on any logos at the moment anyway and like us they are using it as an abbreviation. ***************************************** Don't panic, don't sign up yet! We have just come from our rather informal committee meeting and would like to ask everyones opinion on Stormpay still. If you could let your group leader know by Friday please we will then take the count to the board meeting. This will save us prescious time which we have lost too much of lately. Holly has been good enough to talk us through stormclix. It's a bit like 12 daily pro where you surf adverts for cash, but you don't pay anything, it's free. This will allow members to start earning towards their Net IBA certification if they want to. We also discussed WOSAT signing up for the Stormpay account first directly with Stormpay, then anyone who needs to open an account can do so under WOSAT's affiliate banner. This will over time create an income for WOSAT with 2.5% of purchases made in everyones accounts. We would like to know what you think of this idea too. This way each person could create their own downline in Stormpay and help Wosat. Subsequent groups could again join under Wosat and build their downlines. We are trying to think of all ways of making collateral from the resources we have available to us already or about to have. There are many reasons why Stormpay could benefit us, not just as a payment system. Tell us for once what you think? Reply to your group leader. WOSAT will need a bank account at a later date too, we have been looking very closely at a few and one seems very promising. We will wait for a treasurer to step up before confirming this.
