Hi again; The two most common ways to make money online are; 1) To sell a product or service 2) To resell a product or service (ie; affiliate, V.A.R., JV., etc) But, there's a whole world of "biz opps" (business opportunities) out there. ... Some of them sell products or services, while others just sell the "opp" itself. ... Some of them make money and many of them don't. ... Some of them make money for only a few top people, and some make money for the average joe. I'm starting a series of articles that will interview people who are making money from BizOpps. Why? Because that's what this forum is about. Making profit online. :) I already have two members in mind that I will be contacting to see if they'll agree to a casual email interview. Linda Thanks For the invite it will be interesting to se what develops here. Most programs and opps out there does not work for most people. Most are not honest enough to admit it because they fill like a failure, when in fact they was probley in some mlm or the like that has 95% failure rate for everyone that joins them. Then you blessed me here with an honest review of my site. Then I had made a few break though in marketing my site. So, with all said it has launched me into the new direction I now am going. Hi Linda, Great idea. Let's cut through the hype and good feelings and honestly state what is REALLY working. Let's honestly state what was done to make it work. I can tell you my own direct sales business is doing great. My market is Health and Wellness - Detox and Reflexology. I resell since I do not make the products. I have another market in web development and marketing. These two are my total income. Relationship marketing has been my salvation. Sandy Morgan and Linda Miller of www.sendoutcards.com have provided me with my latest tool to help with this. It has worked so well. I recommend them. In so many ways my own path to home based business bliss parallels my path to good health, far too many things did not work which took money I did not have to waste. The things I am doing that are working can not be duplicated to the masses. I do have two opportunities that could work for some. I offer a direct sales position reselling my products offline or online. I also offer a complete health and wellness small business kit for those wanting to help heal more than just themselves and there family. SOC is a great company David. I've been a distributor for them for about six months now and was a customer for about six month prior to that. I never really considered the greeting card industry before as a potential business. From a business perspective, Relationship marketing is a big thing as you know. We have clients local to us that have show increases in sales (40-45%)in certain areas which are directly attributable to using our services. That's what got us really excited about this business. We are hoping to move that success online as well through the re-development of our personal website (www.ezgreetingcards.ca). Granted, we're not making a fortune at this business being that we are relatively new to building a home based business and are limited in our time, but we are averaging $450-500 (after expenses) per month (for the past three months) but that income is based on a plan. Meaning, that's how much we intend to earn based on our business plan. I'm not sure how that will relate down the road when it comes to our online marketing efforts as that is a new area for us as well. What I really like, is that it's a business that actually works, with real products, real service, real value and usable by almost any person or business. We just make sending greeting cards and post cards easier for people. All way around its a win-win situation for everyone involved. I'm a big fan of the mlm business model concept as well so it's a big bonus that that aspect is also available through this business if one decides to implement that avenue of the busienss. I've also been down the failure road that many who attempt an online business go through when they first get started. The false or empty promises offered by perhaps as high as 90% of the business opportunities out there offer. In most, the only person that profits is the owner of the business opp. It will be great to see how this section of Linda's forum will go. I for one look forward to seeing how others are really doing. And hopefully those on the sidelines who are not doing so well will be able to learn and take away something valuable to them in their business building efforts and be able to avoid a lot of the scams that are out there.
