Hi Cheri, That's a good point you make on the pricing aspect Cheri. I was wondering if I should add the prices to each section (ie business, personal), place it on the home page or just create a page that shows the different packages available and create a link to that page. From a website maintenance aspect because all packages are available to all customers it would be easier to maintain by directing them to a pricing page, but how would it affect the visitor having to click on yet another link? Or would this just be a logical step in the process of moving a visitor through to the order page?

Hi Winston; Cheri made another point that I didn't even know. (Thanks, Cheri... THAT'S why I love when others pitch in. It helps catch things I might not have seen or known. Two heads are better than one, as they say) She said: =============== What I liked about Winston's offer compared to the other is the opportunity to upload your own pictures and not having to commit to a monthly expenditure. =============== See, I didn't know that similar companies have monthly commitments. So yes, include that! What you could do is this; at the bottom of the page, where you link to Personal or Business, place text above it that says "rates start at "x" and no monthly commitments - send cards only when you need to" or something to that effect. At the bottom of the business and personal pages, have links that offer two things; Rates | Get a Free Trial. The rates link goes to rates, and the free trial link goes to a form that allows people to fill in their name/email/questions and goes to you like the contact form. If you move the navigation under your logo, your top and bottom navigation can include Home | Business Greetings | Personal Cards | Rates | Free Trial | Contact If you write articles around the industry, you could add a link called "Trivia" - which people would probably click on more than a link called "articles" We'll be watching. November is the perfect month to nab people whose schedules are way to crazy to send Christmas cards and would appreciate the convenience you offer. : ) Linda

Hi Cheri: =============== Because I think Winston's best customers would probably be businesses, especially real estate and insurance agents and mortgage brokers, the price ought to at least be added to the business page too, and probably posted where visitors can go right to them from the home page. Do you agree? =============== Yes indeed, I do. You really do come up with great ideas and I quite enjoy when you join in. That's a long way of saying thank you. lol I think Winston would have two areas that he could have a very stable base in. 1) Working women who use his service to remind them when to send a card and add the convenience of being able to take care of it online. For that sector, the ability to add a photo without running down to get tons of prints made, would probably be the major selling point. 2) As you pointed out, real estate and insurance agents and mortgage brokers in the business industry. With a solid base in both business and personal, achieved by looking at the biggest "draw" to each type of customer, I think it could do quite well. And, there's room for cross over. For example, a working woman uses the card service to send birthday cards that she can upload photos with.... but that working woman works FOR a company that could probably also use the service. Or vice verse. : ) Linda

Linda, It's taken a few days but I think I've been able to implement a lot of the changes suggested. Would you have any further recommendations? Or do you think that the site is at a point where I should actually start working on promoting it now do you think? +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ With a solid base in both business and personal, achieved by looking at the biggest "draw" to each type of customer, I think it could do quite well. I bring this up because of the posts between you and Cheri. I understand the concept but not the procedure of how to do it.

==================== Many of these are great points for any online business. Thanks for all your hard work. I know it takes time to do these reviews. They are a labor of love I believe because you are an important contributing member to AdlandPro. Last I checked, you get paid good dollars to do this for your clients. You are offering this to us as a benefit of AdlandPro membership. Gratitude is in order. Thank you most kinldy, ==================== Thank you David. Very nice of you to post that. Being the age that I am, I often lament the fact that society (as a whole) has become so self serving. So many people are about "me, me, me." I grew up in a small community where entire neighborhoods actually did get together to put up a barn or garage or bring in the crop. Amazingly, that's how my oldest brother's house went up and how my Dad's crops were brought in. That sort of thing is much more rare today - especially in big cities and online. It's more of a "community" thing. And since that's what Adland is... well, here I am. LOL. Helping, 'cause I think it's one of the nicer things we humans can do for each other. Thank you for the sentiments, it was nice of you to post that. : ) Linda
