Re: Here Is Today's Story Of Inspiration!

Hi Marilyn, I am struck time and time again bystories of both sides of these tragic events. Good people do rise ot the occasion, and give their all to help, while others prey on the weak and weary. Your story helps to make some of it make sense, and shows the real reaosn for helping, despite scams, and so on. We must watch over each other in order for any of us to truly survive. I am especially appalled to hear of the paltry amount FEMA hands out, and expects anyone to do anything with it. They could, if landlords owuld owrk with them, and utility companies, but that is the downside of a free enterprise nation. The dollar comes first. Surely there must be a better way, within our system, to do things. Linda

Marilyn One of the sad parts to this is FEMA would require that the suvivors pay back the money if they received any other assistant. There is a move on to require the goverment to reconize Christian Organizations to be placed on the Aid list. As it is they cannot be repaid for the aid they give people. I do believe that if God's people would do what is scriptual there would be a lot less red tape.

Thanks Marilyn! We never know how lucky we are until someone else isn't do we? I live in Montana and we were expecting alot of families and were ready for them at the old airforce base and the government never sent them changed thier minds I guess. I know it is hard to understand people with the deep loss these have had but I also know that children of God do not slap the hand of those trying to help or spit in the face of the people taking them in! Lisa was very lucky to have been given by God this fellow child of God so she will not feel the ingratitude that some will feel later on by those who wallow in self pity instead of rejoicing to the Lord that all they lost was material things that can and will be replaced! For some they lost more than a home and things they lost wifes, husbands, mothers, fathers, grandmas, grandpas, brothers, sisters, and worst of all they lost thier CHILDREN and it will take alot more than things and a new apartment to replace that loss because it can NEVER be replaced even with other children it will always be there and it is for those I send more prayers for as I look at the poor children without parents or families I wonder what will become of these poor lost little sheep will they find a loving, God filled home or end up wards of the state in orphanages or foster homes that aren't very nice to them? Others can rebuild but these little ones can't because they need help they are too little and have to rely on grownups for help They need our prayers and help more than the whole adults who can rebuild a life do! I pray for all of them ! As Always, God Bless! Sincerly, Susan P.S. Sorry I was so long winded!
