You took the words right out of my mouth Joe! When I see all that in one paragraph I tend to run also. I did sign up for the netconnect safelist. I sort of did it out of curiosity and they sent me a link for a randomizer, and in the download area there was some software they were giving away free...well to make a long story short, some of the software was hijacked by a team of hackers who made the sites mess up so they could make more money. They had stolen the scripts from another site and modified them to suit their little plan. I reported it to the Administrator but as far as I know nothing was done about it. I set up the site but it doesn't work like it's supposed to. The reason I know about this is a webmaster friend of mine knew the original script and knew about the hijacked ones and what these people had done. So beware of wolves in sheeps clothing. It was only $5 for the upgrade, but when you add up all the people who bought into this, that's a lot of money they're making for something that doesn't work. And I've still never been able to send to the "safelist" because you have to build your own list...for them. If it looks too good to be true, it usually is. Becky

Yes it was net connect list. They gave away a randomizer link when you sign up as a pro and some of the products were not what they were cracked up to be. Plus as a free member you could not email the entire list. You could only email the members YOU bring in. So you're bringing in members more for them and not for yourself. Sure you might get paid 10 cents per free member, but you're not making them a lot more than that. If you want a safelist where you really do get what you pay for and then some.
