Dean Beaty 8/14/09 PROVERBS 23:33-34 “Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.” A little slumber, a little sleep and folding of the hands. That is why some fail to do the things the Lord commands Thoughts of self, comforts of life and personal pursuit, And pretty soon you have a life that bears no Godly fruit. Both saved and lost must answer for decisions they have made; About salvation of their soul and the price that Jesus paid. What’s the difference between these two; the saved man and the lost. One ignored and one forget what their salvation cost. The value of the price Christ paid to save a soul from sin, Goes far beyond the universe if multiplied by ten. The value of a poor lost soul for which the Savior died, Is more than all the wealth of earth if it were multiplied. Christian awake from your slumber, unfold your hands to work. There is a task Christ calls us to, a task we must not shirk. There are those who’ve never heard that Jesus Christ can save. Be faithful to the call of Christ, be loyal and be brave.
