Are you serious about starting a business online? Greetings Internet Newbies and Gurus Alike, With so many choices in front of us we are all faced with the challenges of which way to turn to start an online business. The different kinds of companies on the internet use MLM business models, direct sales formats, and affiliate programs. We are all looking for the passport to wealth or an ez wealth formula and there is a lot of buzz on the internet to substantiate our global economic need to prosper online. Life is short so don’t get too stressed out and see your new business as a journey of self discovery and personal development. Most of all, have fun, laugh at your mistakes and take some risk because nothing in life is accomplished without risk. Just make calculated risks. There are many great companies out there with great products and services but there are also just as many scammers. So do your due diligence. I have wasted my fair share of time and money looking for the right fit for me. In any case the internet still provides the greatest opportunity to start a world wide business with very little out of pocket expense compared to conventional brick and mortar businesses and franchises. I tried those too! There are basic things that I look for, before I will commit my time or my resources. This criterion has helped me to make more money than I spend. Isn’t that the reason we are in business? It would be worth your while to consider these criteria for yourself. 1) The compensation plan - I will only participate in companies that pay 90-100% commission. It amazes me the complexity of some companies. And most companies will only pay a total of 67% and that is if you meet all the qualifying bonuses, quotas and monthly volumes. Only the top 5% of the company ever make this money. Right off the starting block as a newbie I am destined to put out more money than I take in. That leads to discouragement, disbelief, and eventually dumping the business you invested your hard earned cash and valuable time into. 2) How often you get paid. - I only get involved with companies where I get paid at the point of sale and I get paid first. There is something incredible motivating when you see your bank account increase the moment the sale takes place. Why wait until the 15th or the end of the month to get paid when you earned it immediately. GPT is a buzz word on the net. It means Get Paid Today! I like it and I am sticking with it. 3) Fast qualifying sales - I love companies that only require 1 or 2 sales to qualify to receive 100% commission. Some companies you have to pass up two sales, some pay you 50% of the first two sales, and some qualify you immediately off the first sale. Ask me about these companies in detail. I have them all working for me. 4) Live regular support - Most of the people on the internet do not know how to market their product or services. Who is going to help you? Is there someone you can talk to? I like real people and I like to talk to someone when I have questions. Watch for the support issue because it is huge. Lots of groups say they support you but most do not. They just take your money and run. 5) Multiple Income Streams- Don’t put all your eggs in one basket or one company. You will spend a lot of time and some money into marketing to get people to look into your business opportunity. People have different interests and most importantly different budgets. I like to have programs that will allow anyone to start an internet business with any size budget. Having more than one business allows you to diversify and if one company goes down which has happened more than once then you still have income coming in. Having an online business is a challenge. Let’s face it. No one is going to make 5-10k a month without working. Anyone who says differently is taking you for a ride. The internet is a frenzy of get rich quick, do nothing, talk to no one, and sell nothing. Get real! All business is centered on people buying and selling products or services. The emphasis is "people" who are either looking for something to buy or offering something to sell. I don't promise a lazy man's approach to riches. It only exists in two places, the casino, and the lottery and we all know how many losers verses winners there are.
