More on the Pandemic and also some tips on how to stay healthy

Sometimes I get tired of reading the 30 odd copies of the same posts by Rima Laibow and her General, not to mention the Health Ranger.  To bring a little balance to picture, I was speaking earlier today with a highly knowledgeable herbalist whose family (in Canada) all contracted the swine flu.  This included children in school who tested positive so the school was closed.  There were also elderly persons who were affected and they described this as a "mild flu".   All recovered completely and are none the worse for wear.

Obviously, there are those who are nervous and whose panic buttons detonate quickly, and, of course, there are people with heads in the sand.  There are also those who want to sell mega amounts of ridiculous vaccines and drugs and those who are talking about  FEMA camps and other nightmares that personally I believe must be avoided at all cost.

First, the hoax must be exposed.  The "epidemic" is not really any more life threatening than crossing a busy street, maybe less so.  If exposed, the consequences are relatively minor and easily addressed through your choice of immune boosters, antivirals, proper hydration, and rest.  It's impossible to keep up with every report, but this virus is not bigger than the bomb.

I can be cynical where politics and money are concerned.  Obviously there are those who would like to find some huge distractions to keep our minds off the economy, but the risk the schemers take is that the populace has a threshold and at some point, they will have had enough of Big Brother.  Assuming that people have ingested enough fluoride to be thoroughly passive might be an error in judgment but correct or not, there is a gamble that more whistle blowers will appear and more covert "stuff" will surface so I think it's best to focus on how we have influenza bugs all the time and there are generally a certain number who succumb, not because the bugs are virulent but because the individuals were weak and vulnerable.

This said, you never know whether the powers that be will overreact or not.  The best way to restrain them is to be noisy and sign petitions and deluge Congress.  It actually works.  For instance, Ron Paul has enough supporters now to force an audit on the Federal Reserve.  It didn't happen because a lot of people were quiet; it happened because a lot of people insisted and because he has been indefatigable.  So, we need to insist on correct assessment of facts as well as our right to self-quarantine if we feel threatened by our own government or a virus.  Nothing would be worse than putting a lot of people together in a small space.  You could be absolutely certain of loss of hygiene and the spread of infection.  Rational minds have to take a stand here and meanwhile, if you are out and about, you ought to be boosting your immunity and perhaps carrying some essential oil.

Everyone has favorite essential oils.  I go through cycles.  There was a phase when I liked all the resins, especially myrrh and guaiacum but when I got more into diffusing, I had to focus on lighter oils that don't clog the nebulizer.  Everyone seems to know that both wild oregano and tea tree are potent, but I wonder if you realize that thyme is also way up there?  Cinnamon and clove are also very effective.  I put thyme in my bath (with the Epsom salts) and it does not irritate my skin, 5-8 drops maximum per tub of water.
