ARE YOU INSIGNIFICANT?
By Rev. Dean Beaty 5/27/09
Matthew 10:29-31 “Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing?
And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father.
But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not
therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows.” (KJV)
Am I insignificant to a great almighty God?
There is little I can do while on this earth I trod.
And yet God gave His only Son to die on Calvary,
To take my place and pay my debt that I might be set free.
There’s nothing unimportant not even birds that fly.
Even lowly sparrows are noted by God’s eye.
Not one can fall from heaven except the Father knows.
So you can trust assuredly that God sees all your woes.
Thank you Heavenly Father for your constant love and care.
And for eternal promises that Thou art always there.
I’m welcome in Thy presence whether it is day or night.
I’m not insignificant. I’m precious in His sight.
This gift that God has given that cleanses you from sin.
Is yours if you’ll accept it and ask Christ to come in.
The joy of Jesus’ presence is yours plus peace brand new.
Cause you’re not insignificant, since Jesus died for you.
