Hello Friends,
During the past year the B Hussein regime purged many officers for reasons that aren't convincing in the least. What's been made known to the public were the higher ranking officers that were purged but it seems that over 197 officers from the rank of colonel and above have been relieved of duty for very suspicious reasons (in addition to 157 majors at the end of 2011). The basic understanding is that these officers simply didn't toe the party line.
Needless to say that the military is not part of any party and is comprised of Americans that have different party affiliations that doesn't affect their military duties.
Actions of this sort are normally done by dictators who want the military to be loyal to them and not the country they are serving. In addition we've seen similar purges in many islamic countries and the two best examples are Egypt and Turkey.
Turkey's Erdogan purged the majority of the military's secular generals and replaced them with his own islamist followers and by doing so changed the military to a more radical one. In the past months the purged military leaders were court martialed and jailed for supposedly wanting to overthrow his government. There was never any proof that anything of the sort happened but in islamic countries you really don't need real proof to jail those who you fear might be a problem in the future. This is also why he is so supportive of the muslim brotherhood in Egypt and so against the new government after Morsi and his muslim brotherhood were ousted after the people rebelled and demanded their removal.
That brings us to what happened in Egypt. Morsi purged all the secular military leaders and replaced them with his people that he thought would be loyal to him and the muslim brotherhood. This boomeranged on him since Sisi (appointed to his position by Morsi) led the military in removing Morsi and the muslim brotherhood from their corrupt power.
So it seems that B Hussein is taking lessons from his muslim brothers, especially Erdogan who he likes and respects more then the leaders of the western world.
These purges are dangerous and are a signal of things to come. None of them good. In many articles I've read since the purges of the Generals the claim is that the litmus test now is the willingness of new appointees to fire on Americans. This has been repeated often and when you think of the good people he's purged it sorta makes sense. Time will tell whether these claims are true or not.
The below article shows just how serious this issue is and hopefully will be an eyeopener to many of his supporters and finally wake them up to the big mistake they made.
Shalom,
Peter
Obama Accused of Military 'Purges'
The United States military is being "purged" of officers suspected of disloyalty to or disagreement with the Obama administration, several sources charge.
"We recognize President Obama is the commander-in-chief and that throughout history presidents from Lincoln to Truman have seen fit to remove military commanders they view as inadequate or insubordinate," Investor's Business Daily (IBD) observed.
"Yet what has happened to our officer corps since President Obama took office is viewed in many quarters as unprecedented, baffling, and even harmful to our national security posture."
Retired U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Paul Vallely believes Obama is "intentionally weakening and gutting our military and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged."
According to Breitbart.com, at least 197 officers, mostly at the rank of colonel or above, have been relieved of duty for a variety of reasons, or for no stated reason at all.
Nine senior commanding generals have been fired by the administration this year, "leading to speculation by active and retired members of the military that a purge of its commanders is underway," IBD reported.
Among those officers:
Gen. Carter Ham was relieved as head of U.S. Africa Command because he disagreed with orders not to mount a rescue effort in response to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on U.S. diplomatic personnel in Benghazi, Libya.
Rear Adm. Charles Gaouette, commander of Carrier Strike Group Three, was relieved of duty in October 2012 for disobeying orders when he sent his group to assist and provide intelligence for forces ordered into action by Gen. Ham, according to IBD.
Two nuclear commanders were fired in a single week — Maj. Gen. Michael Carey, head of the Air Force unit that maintains control of 450 intercontinental missiles, and Vice Adm. Tim Giardina, the No. 2 officer at U.S. Strategic Command. Carey was sacked "due to a loss of trust and confidence in his leadership and judgment," while Giardina lost his post for allegedly using counterfeit gambling chips at a casino.
According to IBD, a senior retired general said on the condition of anonymity that "they're using the opportunity of the shrinkage of the military to get rid of people that don't agree with them or do not toe the party line."
FrontPage concluded: "Obama has made clear that he will aggressively pursue anyone who defies his agenda. Now it seems that chilling message has been sent to the military as well."
