I think a lot of people do things like that.

When my sister(s) were teenagers...at least one of them told me they'd keep track of the work schedules of the young men who worked at the corner store so they knew what times the cute ones would be working.   Thats usually not a problem when women "track" men but can be annoying or scary when men keep track of us, when we're working in a public place or walking down the same street at the same time every day, to and from school or work.   Usually  just annoying, unless we already know and LIKE the person.
