Hi Barbara,

My parents live on the edge of a green belt as well overlooking Port Adelaide and it's absolutley wonderful. Several times in the past Council has tried to change the zoning, but thanks to democracy it hasn't happened.

My parents have the most stunning view to the west over Torrens Island and Port Adelaide and the sunsets are just blissful. 50 years on they can still stop us all in our tracks with their awesome beauty.

My Dad designed our house (and built it to actually) with the view in mind and they have the hugest plate glass window in the lounge room overlooking the Port.
