Kathy, that is one of my favourate morning prayers. There is much depth to it and for that matter it lends itself to a number of interpretations. A Methodist Minister gave a slightly different meaning. Prayer travel very much like Radio Waves that is why it is so effective. Rudolph

Kathy, I want to thank you for the verse you sent to me, the bible has many verses within that are touching and meant to make us think. We are all of God and I hope that I’m not misconstrued when I say this, even though we are humans and God is an entity we all serve him through belief in him and obedience to his word and way we live our lives. All of us in one way or another break the commandments laid down for us to follow, we all in one manner or another believe that there is a heaven and hell, we all believe that Jesus was sent to deliver a message and in doing so lost his life for us. Knowing and believing the above our everyday lives are blessed by having that day to live in. It is not an easy task to live ones life by the book, letter for letter, word for word, but we can be civil to each other. Everyday that we awake, we have been blessed with another day in which to make amends for our transgressions. Life itself is a test, we all have many failures and on some days have passed with flying colors, let us always remember that we as humans are not perfect, we all make mistakes and can be corrected when we are wrong. Now I will leave you with one of my own personal favorites: "…and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times, and the boundaries of their habitation, that they should seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us…"(Acts 17:26-27) Sincerely, Manuel D.
