Do NOT use your Ugly Affiliate Links To Promote !
4/18/2009 11:39:50 PM

Hello Everyone !

Just some good advice

Most of you probably don't know me as I am quite new at AdlandPro. I am an experienced webmaster and marketer.

(Looking for more friends / Invitations please)

In my very short time here I have noticed (alarmingly) that people use affiliate links which are so obvious and I can guarantee that 'hits' to these sites are VERY low.... example......

http://awebsite.com/member/pages/af=?1234567

Well, thats made up but I'm sure you get the picture right? and have seen many of them in ads, personal messages, forums etc etc.

Using one of MY affiliate links as an example :-

http://www.freefollowup.com/exchange/index.php?id=exxtreme

Now......Check This >>>

http://goto.22web.net/87

OR....Using a 'Tag' >>>

http://goto.22web.net/freefollowup

Do you see the difference ? either of these links is more clickable than that ugly affiliate link !

>>>>   http://goto.22web.net   <<<<

It's totally FREE.....No Upgrades etc etc etc and you can use it to cloak ALL or ANY  links you want !!

Please write to me and let me know if this will help you.

Kindest wishes

Adria

Hello and great sound advice.

I also recommend using HTML when available. If you click REPLY then look above, you will see a globe with a paper clip. If you highlight your text and click this button, you can create a hyper link. I use this whenever I am posting a link in a post.

I do post my affiliate links when a forum calls for it however. It sometimes proves to others that this is the program or website that I am promoting.

There are many ways to disguise your affiliate link. Learn HTML that will be your first step.
