The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and minds.
Philippians 4:7
To the objective observer, peace is the last emotion in the world
Paul should have been feeling, but the apostle knew from
experience what he was talking about. He had suffered shipwreck
and been stoned and lashed on several occasions - all because he
was a follower of Jesus. the one fundamental truth he knew was that
God's peace, though mysterious and impossible to comprehend
retionally, is able to see anyone through the journey of life - on
a routine day or in the midst of any trial.
Peace is a promise of God.
